A new challenger appears!

Hi! It's nice to meet you all, my name is Renee. My forum name is Hirase Ritsuko, in case you can't already tell! (Wow, nice one.) I've been working at my character application for quite some time, but have been reading up on the old threads of Dango Daikazoku, and I'm very interested in this! I'm new to roleplay, as stated in previous applications if you've read them. I decided to choose Clannad, seeing as this was the first anime I've ever been emotionally involved in. It seemed like a fun idea, and after a bit of searching, I found this website! (You guys are on Google, if you haven't seen that already!) There's not too much to learn about me, really. I'm a college student, currently enrolled in the culinary arts program! I "work" at a daycare, and I like to sing in my free time, whether it's karaoke or some jibber-jabber I have written down somewhere. I used to play volleyball, but left due to an ankle injury that still renders me unable to play. However, I do want to hear about you guys, so if you haven't already, introduce yourselves down below!

Yay, yay, yay~! I'm so happy to have approved you~ Anyway, thank you for working so hard and for so long on your first app! I have to admit, it's one of the best first RP apps I've seen so far! There's still quite some way to go for everyone on this site so don't worry about whether people are more advanced than you or not because the truth is, we're all beginners in some shape or form. I know this site isn't as active as other ones but as long as we have our family (including you) together, we'll go a really long way! 

As you know, I'm Atena, your local friendly mod, so if you have any comments or questions, feel free to PM them to me whenever you want to! I'm truly glad you've come to stay. Also, we're proud of how we're on Google for Clannad RP. Maybe there was some wisdom in naming the RP that after all... But we have an even better name now, nonetheless!

A culinary arts program, huh... That takes talent and you seem to be doing well at the daycare! Either way, I wish you luck and good times with your college experiences and hope you learn lots and lots! 

On a side note, I like karaoke too so we should VC some time together if you have Skype! I also really love this site and roleplaying but I'm currently learning lots about how to become a better RPer too so I hope we learn together! Also, I'm slowly but steadily learning how to use HTML so if you talk to me, you might find me struggling with that and keeping up with school!

We've talked a little bit in the cbox, but I'm happy to officially meet you. ^^ I'm Kim and I'm also a college student, though I'll be graduating very soon in May. You've worked really hard on your app, and like Atena said, I think you're doing very well for a first timer, so don't worry about levels or ability or anything~ We're all trying to improve our writing and rping at our own paces. c:

Everyone here is pretty friendly so don't be afraid to ask questions or ask people to rp~

Oh, and add people on Skype! It tends to be one of the main forms of communication among many of us here. ^^

I remember taking a class in high school called Multimedia and Webpage Design that taught us how to do HTML. It was pretty easy for the most part, I hope you're doing okay with it!

Your major sounds really interesting, not that I'd be able to fare too well in it... as much as I love eating, I have much to learn as far as the culinary arts go!

Ah, thank you Akio! I read your character application and I'm still giggling. That scene threw me off guard and to this day reduces me to a mess. I also hope to join you someday in your Jedi crusades! May the Sith fall to the light of the Jedi Order.

[Mizukami Ayumu]

Saz here, the old member who comes and goes (much too often than he would like), who plays Mizukami Ayumu and Fujibayashi Ryou. Ayumu's an OC who mostly hangs around, as the bit in his profile says, like a cloud in the wind. He also has a crush on Furukawa Nagisa, who no one roleplays yet as of now ;_;

So, uh... besides roleplay and anime and TV shows and books and possibly writing more than just roleplay... there's not much else I'm into >.> I like to sing, but I'm a bit too self-conscious for my own good. ...gah, it's been so long that I think I suck in this these days. Or maybe it's just because I'm sleepy and yet I'm still trying to reply.

But anyway, to the reason why I'm replying despite sleepiness... KATOUUUUUUUUU YOUR FACE CLAIM IS KATOU /spazzes ...ah, sorry, I can get like that with characters I really like Nagisa included. Have you seen the anime of that particular light novel series? It does get fanservicey at times, but the art is great and I really like Katou... not that the LN art is great... and you might have just picked her off an image search >.> but well, I guess that's part of the risk of spontaneously fanboying on people. With great face claims come great responsibility! Aha.
