Everyone doing well? Anyone actually reading this? Well all the same, a mighty yellow and welcome to you all. There exists a channel here called "Animax". Despite America having a much larger otaku culture it's ironic it doesn't actually hve a channel dedicated to anime like this one. I mean it's not ALL great of course. They like to cycle between the same four shows over and over again. But still. Subbed! Why is that such a rarity in the west?
Aaaaaaaanyways. I noticed a commercial playing recently. It didn't really make sense. Something about mysterious deaths? It was quite vague. But the animation looked good. Damn good. Charlotte is what it was called. Kind of a weird name but whatever. The third time I saw the commercial I noticed something else. A very, very small trademark in the bottom right. Visual Arts/Key. No friggin way. This isn't just some random anime you guys. This is from the same people behind Clannad. Well...the same company at least right? Nope. Same writer too. In fact, it's another collaboration between Key and PA Works. Like Angel Beats! Hopefully this will be longer then 11 episodes, but that's pretty awesome right?! After 5 years or so we finally get another work from these guys. Personally I can't wait to cry all over again.
Welcome to our new unofficial members. Hopefully the lack of activity hasn't scared you guys away. Though we may leave this place from time to time, this family never truly disappears.

I saw an ad for Charlotte recently too, though I've forgotten most of the details about it. That's fine by me, though, because I prefer going into things blind. Definitely looking forward to Charlotte when it pops up!

Maybe we should make a RP forum for it . Strike while the iron is hot Of course I'm an old fogey who hasn't kept with the times. Apparently jcink and fancy HTML is with the times.

I'm too stubborn to start a new site. But, it's not a bad idea...
jcink is too counterintuitive in my opinion. I still prefer Proboards. The HTML thing is a big draw for it, though.

One major drawback with proboards is the mobile site looks like barf. Unless I'm missing something and that's 100% customizable as well. But even if that were the case, it would still be unwieldy having to edit both individually. I 'spose first thing first is to actually watch the anime and see if it has any RP potential.
In other random news, K-on dub is awful. Not Clannad dub awful. But...just really dull. And boring. And dull. Also they butcher all the names but keep the -chans and -nyans for god knows what reason.
