Heya!
I'm Jackie, and (of course) I'm new here! I've watched the Clannad anime twice, as a matter of fact, so I'm up to par as with being familiar with the series. Sadly, I have yet to play the game, but will probably hop on doing so soon!
My real name is Jacques, and I live in Connecticut. I'm half French-Canadian, which is where my name comes from. Funny story about my name, actually. My brother named me when I was born, and he was only three. He named me after Jack the Pumpkin King from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and my parents just made it into a French name. I was nicknamed Jackie by my friend Kendra a few years ago, and it stuck a bit. Guys don't really call me by it, but apparently any girl who has heard me called Jackie instantly takes to it. Why this is, I don't know, haha. But I can also be referred to as MM because of my name on other forums. Its a nickname I've had since 2007, so it's stuck well.
As far as things I enjoy, I'm an athlete. I love running, especially. I am a sprinter on the track team, and do anything from a 55 meter dash to a 400 meter dash. I usually don't go over that though. I also run 5k's for fun though. Some people call me insane for that, but hey, I don't mind being insane. Continuing on the tangent of sports, the only sport I watch is Football. I'm a New England Patriots fan, and have been for about five or so years.
I'm also a musician, and not to brag, I think I'm pretty good at it. I play primarily Alto Saxophone, and have been playing that for sevenish years. I also taught myself to play the piano, which mind you took three years of fiddling around, and now I'm pretty mediocre at that. I also can play trumpet pretty decently, flute as good as my sax, soprano sax, tenor sax, and I know basic chords on guitars. I write a little bit, but mostly do arrangements.
I also enjoy writing stories. I am doing like three or something right now, haha. It depends on my mood which one I write. One's a Zombie Apocalypse (So original!), one's an action adventure through medieval times, and one's a relaxing love story. I really love writing, which is why I love role playing.
I've been Role Playing online since 2007, which makes me slightly seasoned with knowledge about role playing. I have written role plays that go up to 18 pages long (In fact, my character application sample is the first post from that RP). I absolutely adore this kind of stuff.
Additionally, I'm a gamer. My favourite series I ever played was Legend of Zelda. I can always play those. I am also open to any kind of game. I have played one of every type of game, or at least that I can think of. But Zelda is my favourite of all time. :3
