Crushes: None at the momement
Face Claim: Nagisa
Description:
Nagisa is an eighteen-year-old girl, though at first glance you wouldn’t think so. She is short in stature and is rather lightweight as well. Her frame matches this look, giving her a rather thin body frame. Starting at the top, her shoulders are rather small and thin. Her bust, while not flat, is not overly prominent compared to many of the other girls in her class. Moving down, she has a thin waist that moves into hips that are as thin and small as her shoulders. Both her arms and legs are thin and feminine. Overall, Nagisa build gives off the image of a who is a bit sickly as well as not very strong, something that Nagisa wouldn’t argue with at all as she knows she has a weak body.
Her sickly past is responsible for more than a small frame, however. It has also given her a bit of a pale look, though it doesn’t make her stand out unless she gets sick. Her light skin makes her more susceptible to looking flushed, and her blushing to be very noticeable. Her sickliness hasn’t affected all of her, however. Nagisa’s eyes are always wide and filled with emotion, ranging from joy to sadness. They are a dark brown color, and are probably the highlight of her face. Her hair has a similar color, though it is a lighter shade of brown. Her hair flows down to the bottom of her neck, with the bangs going down to her eyes. Of interesting note, there are two strands of hair that rise above her head before coming back down, and have caused some to joke she has antennae’s.
Like everyone else, Nagisa wears the school uniform. Outside of school, however, Nagisa usually wears more feminine clothes. She wears a lot of skirts and blouses, or she might wear a dress. She does own some shorts and such, but a majority of the time she’ll stick with the skirts.
Personality:
Nagisa is a very timid and shy girl. She is known to eat alone and to not say much to anyone unless they talk to her first. When she talks, she is very quiet and very polite. It is very easy for her to fade into the background and to be simply ignored by those around her. Much of these issues extend from her self-confidence issues she has, which are paradoxically caused by her weakness. These issues have prevented her from gaining many friends, though the issue of repeating a year doesn’t help that matter.
Nagisa, however, at least realizes her weakness and refuses to simply sit back and accept it. She works hard every day to try and improve herself. When she needs a boost in confidence, she’ll start chanting a word like ‘anpan’ to give herself courage. She has also latched onto a dream in order to help her, a dream of reestablishing the Drama Club. Admiring actors for their ability to perform in front of crowds, Nagisa hopes such a position would help her own faltering confidence. She also has another object that she latches onto for comfort; Dango Daikazoku, otherwise known as the Big Dango Family. Nagisa loves that there are so many of them, and believes that they must have such a happy family. Whenever she is troubled she’ll break out into singing their song.
Speaking of family, Nagisa is very close to her own family. Even if they are very….odd, she loves them just the same. She usually doesn’t participate in her family’s more wild escapades though. Her love of her family extends to the idea of family in general as well. Whenever she hears of a family that is broken or falling apart, she feels rather sad and depressed. She truly wishes that everybody could get along with their families.
Overall, Nagisa is a very caring person. She is kind and considerate of others and their feelings. Whenever she hears someone is in trouble, she is willing to help whatever way she can. Many times she is willing to put the wants and needs of others above her own. Part of this is because she feels her wants aren’t important, but most of it is because she is a truly kind person.
Histoy:
Nagisa was born in this town, and from a young age it looked as if she was to be a normal little girl. She was healthy, though happiness was another issue. At this time both of her parents were still working. Her father Akio was working as an actor in a theatric company, and her mother was a schoolteacher. They spent little time with her, and to a degree they were rather negligent of her. It wasn’t that they didn’t love her, it was just that they were busy trying to live their own dreams and life.
That lasted for several years until Nagisa became severely ill. It was the middle of winter, and she was running a high fever. Her parents were unable to take off work, so they were forced to leave her at home. They came home early one day to check on her, and were met with a fearful sight; Nagisa was out on the snow. She had wanted to wait outside for them, and had walked out into the snow. While Nagisa eventually recovered, her parents quit their jobs to take care of her. Nagisa has no memory of the event, and her parents have kept it a secret from her. However, to this day Nagisa has a nagging feeling she did something wrong to them.
After the incident, Nagisa’s parents decided to try their hand at a bakery. Well, at least her mother Sanae did. So they moved out of the apartment they had been living in and bought a combined store/home to work the bakery out of. It was found rather early in the business that Sanae could not bake bread, and so Akio was forced to learn the trade. Nagisa also helped around the store, cleaning, helping bake the bread, setting out the bread, and other little tasks around the place. When she got older she would run the store whenever her parents were out. It was hard work, but for Nagisa there had never been a more fun time in her life.
Throughout her school life Nagisa had some trouble making friends. While she was very open and warm around her family, she was much quieter around strangers. She was able to make some friends, but overall she wasn’t an epitome of popularity. She also picked up an interest in trying out drama, even though she never once saw a play in her life. In particular, she had this story she wished to act at, about a girl in a world that had died. Sadly, she can not remember the name of this story.
In the third year of school her sickness made a comeback. She was kept out of school for a long time, and was unable to take the exams. Eventually she recovered, but it was simply too late. Lacking the attendance needed, Nagisa was unable to graduate. Her third year was going to have to be repeated if she wished to graduate from school. Even worse, all of her friends have graduated, leaving her alone as she repeats her third year.
Or she would have been if it wasn’t for that day on the hill. She met a boy named Okazaki Tomoya, who in his own way gave her the courage to move up the hill to the school. Even better, and even with her protest, he has offered to help her restart the Drama Club. While she hates that he is spending his free time helping her, she is appreciative of his efforts. And she hopes that she’ll be able to make herself strong enough to be worthy of such help.

Sample RP:
From Yuuretsu Chronicles, a Naruto Roleplay. I’m playing as Hinata, who is very similar to Nagisa (both shy and introverted)
Hinata looked at her feet when Neji chided her for not being able to talk to Naruto. Her face was still burning with blushing, and she just stood there quietly not sure what to say. She knew full well that she had trouble speaking to him, and was also well aware that if she kept fainting he wasn’t going to be able to be able to pay attention to her at all outside of helping her up. This was just a shameful situation for her, and just another reason why her father, and even Neji to a degree, looked her down upon. How could someone as weak as her be able to one day be the head of the clan?
No, she wasn’t going to be like this forever. She may be physically weak with her constant fainting and shyness, but deep down she was tough. She had already proved it to Neji once during the Chuunin Exams, she could do it again if she really tried. All it took was for her to draw on whatever reserve of strength she had tapped into that day and use it to stalk to Naruto…except that Naruto was the strength she had tapped that day. Why did this have to be such a complicated situation.
”I’m, I’m not really sure Neji. But I have gotten stronger since he left, so maybe I’ll be able to speak to him without fainting this time.”
Hinata rubbed her arm while waiting for Neji to continue speaking, not looking him directly in the eye in the process. When he mentioned he had been training with Hanabi, she let out a “That’s nice” and that was about it. She knew Hanabi would rather train with Neji or their father since, well, she wasn’t that great of a sparring partner. Hanabi could hold her own against Hinata, a rather sad feat since she had just recently become a Genin. Hinata, as the heir and a Chuunin, should be able to beat her with relative ease. The disappointed looks she received from her father after such matches were why she was out her alone training instead of being at the compound. Out here she could train without pressure from her father bearing down on her.
She calmed down a little as Neji walked over to another tree. Without him being so close to her, she felt more comfortable and tried to calm down and look at him. As he spoke, however, she looked rather ashamed, looking down once again at the ground. He was irritated by her lack of goals? She had a goal alright, and it was a bit of a surprise he hadn’t figured it out by now. Her goal was to get stronger, to be abel to stand up on her own to feet and finally catch the eye of the person she loved; Naruto. Of course such a goal might have been rather petty in the eyes of some of the others, so that was why she kept it secret. The last thing her psyche needed was everybody teasing her about Naruto. She was going to tell him she loved him only when she felt she could; not when anybody else thought she should.
Her mind settled down after the thought, and she was able to look at Neji once again. While still a little upset about being compared to Hanabi in a way to obviously to point out that she was advancing much faster than she, Hinata was a bit more secure in herself. Thinking of Naruto, as long as it was as a source of inspiration instead of love, always seemed to do that.
”I may not be as advancing as fast as Hanabi, but I’m still getting stronger.” she replied, with a bit more confidence in her voice compared to the rest of the conversation.
She froze up again when he brought up the question about Naruto. While the obvious answer would have been yes, she did want to go see him, with the way the conversation was going that wouldn’t be the ‘right’ answer, would it? If she said no, she was going to stay here and train, then he might like that she was working hard. But Neji might also think she was just being a coward and hiding from Naruto if she said that. Hinata was used to this second-guessing of herself, but right now wasn’t the time to do that. She had to get an answer out quickly before he dug even deeper into the subject.
”Uhm, well, I thought that after I was done here I might go and see about tracking him down. If all else fails, I could try and catch him at that ramen place he’s always eating at.”
She felt relieved with that answer. It was a good compromise between training all day and running off after Naruto. Hinata just hoped Neji felt the same way.
