:: Ibuki Fuko::
Type: Canon
Age: 14
Year and Class: None
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Crushes: None
Face Claim: N/A
Description:
Fuko is a rather small girl, probably the shortest and most lightweight of all the canon characters. This stems mostly from her behind a first-year student while most of the others are third-year students. She still looks rather childish both physically and in her demeanor. Her eyes are rather large and yellowish, and still retain a sense of innocence in them. As for her hair, it is a rather dark-grey color. It is very long, reaching down past her back in the back, and goes down to her chest in the front. Like her, it is rather energetic and looks like it is full of life.
As for her clothes, Fuko is always seen wearing her school uniform. It seems as if she has no other clothes for some reason. However, she does add her own personal style to the design. The first is that her stockings are a color somewhere between dark blue and purple. Her hair is fancied up a bit with a large, blue bow near the bottom of it. Other than that, she wears the basic school uniform at all times.
The most important things Fuko as on her at all times are her knife and a wooden starfish. The knife is a simple carving knife, though she still slips and cuts herself at times. This causes her to occasionally be found wearing bandages on her hands. As for the wooden stars, they are usually of moderate quality, having the basic shape of one but having some splinters. Still, she clings onto them for dear life.
Personality:
Childish
Even though she is in high school, Fuko acts rather childish. She gets excited rather easily, and is also a rather gullible person. Pettiness is not above her, and she is quick to start picking at people about certain things. This usually manifests in the form of calling them names like Strange Person or forcing them to do something they don’t want to (in the series she makes Nagisa and Tomoya call each other by first names). No matter what, however, she denies that she is strange in any way whatsoever. When called on her behavior, she believes that she is acting normal and mature, and that it is the accuser who is immature. She is also known to refer to herself in the third person quite often.
Starfish-Lover
Fuko just adores starfish to the point of obsession. At all times she is carrying a starfish on her body somewhere. She also found constantly carving wooden starfish in a very dedicated and focused manner. This is not the only sign of her starfish love. Whenever she starts talking about starfish or cute things in general, she tends to get into a rather enjoyable dreamlike state. During this time she is completely oblivious to the world, though once awake denies that she was daydreaming.
Dedication to Sister
If there is something other than starfish that Fuko cares about, it is her older sister Kouko. Fuko cares very deeply for her sister, and for her, Kouko's happiness is Fuko's happiness. In fact, the carving of the starfish are all for her. Fuko is dedicated to getting people to congratulate her sister on her wedding day. In order to do this, Fuko carves the starfish and hopes to give them to people and that they would be inspired by them to attend the wedding. No matter how often she is told the plan won’t work, Fuko continues to do so, even staying up all night carving them if she has to.
History:
Fuko was born within the city. One of the most important members of her family was her older sister Kouko, who later on became the art teacher at the school. Growing up, she hung behind Kouko, using her as a personal shield against the world. She wasn not a very social child, and did not take the initiative to make friends. Instead, she was content staying with her older sister, never leaving her side if possible. While at first her sister was fine with it, eventually she started to feel that it was not right.
This feeling was reinforced several years later. It was the first summer vacation after Kouko became a teacher. Her and Fuko went to the beach with their relatives. There were many kids of Fuko's age, but she would not talk to any of them. Instead, she hid behind her sister as usual. She spent the entire time playing with a single starfish on the shore. That day Kouko decided to force Fuko to begin making friends.
Fuko graduated from middle school, behaving the same as she always did. Once Spring Break came, Kouko began staying away from Fuko as much as possible. She would make up excuses, claiming she was always busy. Fuko would leave her alone as requested, and soon found herself all alone. The loneliness was very saddening, but she still did not venture out to make friends.
That was until the day of the entrance ceremony, when she told Kouko she would do her best to make friends. Her older sister was much relieved, and was glad to hear that. Happiness soon turned to tragedy, however. On the way home from the ceremony, Fuko was hit by a car. She was hurt very bad, and had to be sent to the hospital. For two years she remained in a coma, never waking. Kouko would visit constantly, hoping that she would wake up. She even began to have doubts about marrying her boyfriend Yusuke Yoshino.
Recently there have been rumors of a young girl's ghost haunting the school. This girl sits in a classroom alone, carving starfish. They say the girl is the ghost of one who was involved in an accident two years earlier. The girl had been on the way home from the entrance ceremony when a car hit her. Not much else is known about this ghost. Not even Fuko, who is in fact this ghost, knows that is her situation. All she knows is that after the accident, she somehow appeared in the school. Since then she has worked hard carving the starfish, hoping that she would be able to secure her sister's happiness by getting the students congratulate her on her wedding day.

The sunlight creeped slowly into Inoko's room through the window next to her bed. As the room lit up, one could see the heaving form of Inoko lying in bed, still asleep. Her arm was currently lying off the bed, almost touching the floor. In a few seconds that hand would be smashin an alarm, but for now the girl was enjoying her last few seconds of...
Beeeep. Beeep. Beeeep. Beeeep.
The girl's eyes hastily opened, but it didn't take long before she turned to a half-awakened state. Her hand slammed on the alarm, but it took a few seconds before she actually hit the button to turn it off. With the annoying beep gone, she knew she was going to have to get up. Turning herself around, she shifted herself a bit as she begun to sit up. She ran her hands through her long, blonde, and currently frazzled hair. Some of it was in her face, and she had to move it out of the way. It was going to take awhile before she was going to get it fixed up. Bed-head was such a pain, so it was a good thing she got up so early.
Dragging herself to her closet, she pulled out her top and lazily put it on. It wasn't that hard as she had to just slip it over herself and lock the band that went around her neck. After that it was a quick change from pajama pants to her normal pants and she was good to go. At least for walking around her house. For now she had decided to leave the bracers off. She was just going to tend the flower fields, not battle enemy shinobi. Then again, some of the weeds were as tough as any ninja. But first an even bigger battle; taming her hair.
Grabbing a brush, she started to work on getting any tangles out of her hair. She winced as she ran into a rather tough knot, but she pulled through. Soon her hair was straightened out, and luckily she didn't have to do anything complex (she thought of copying her idol Ino's ponytail, but it turned into too big of a hassle). It took her a few minutes to get the bangs to go the way she wanted, but soon her hair was complete. No longer a mess of bed-head, it was her normal, stylish hairstyle.
"There, I believe everything's good. Just hope mom and them are up. It's such a pain when they aren't."
She headed downstairs quietly, and didn't hear any other signs of life. That meant she was the only one awake, which left her the duty of having start cooking breakfast. While she wished she could just go upstairs and go back to sleep, she knew she couldn't get away with it. Besides, she'd have to redo her hair afterwards if she did. It was just easier to make breakfast than to deal with getting herself 'dolled up' as she heard people say. So with that in mind, she headed off to the kitchen to star preparing breakfast.
Whether they liked it or not, her parents were going to get a rather simple breakfast. She didn't have time to make anything elaborate, so she simply decided to make some rice porridge. If they wanted something else, well, they're was always leftovers from dinner they could add to it. Make-your-own breakfast as she called it. As the water boiled, she pulled out some of the meat and vegetables from last night and let them thaw a little before she started to heat them up. It was about that time her mother walked in, rather groggy herself.
"Another one of your 'make-your-own breakfast' meals? Really, don't know why you even bother cooking if you're going to do that."
"Hey, if you want a decent breakfast, just get up a little earlier. Maybe you'll beat me to the kitchen," Inoko replied, giving her mother a slight grin to show she was at least partially joking.
They both knew Inoko didn't like to cook that much, as well as the fact Inoko wasn't the greatest cook in the world. Still, it was the job for whoever got up first to make breakfast for the others. Sadly for everyone involved, Inoko was the first one to get up so she could get her outfit all in order.
"Maybe if you toned down your outfit some you'd be able to sleep in more so you're not the first up," mother replied.
"You're just jealous I'm a better looker than when you were a kid," Inoko responded tongue-in-cheek. Her mother just laughed at the response for a second before adding her own quip.
"Oh trust me, back when I was in a kid, I could rival the Hyuuga girls in looks."
"Now I know you're lying about that."
This sort of thing went on for awhile. It was a common morning ritual; Inoko got up, mom got up, they poked fun at eacher, and so on. It wasn't long before Inoko's mother finally stepped in to help her cook breakfast. It still consisted mostly of rice and leftovers, but with her mother's help, at least they were half-decent. Within a few moments Inoko's dad would probably be getting up, so they added a spot for him at the table. After everyone was done eating they'd be given their jobs, she'd head off to the fields to check on the flowers, and then work till about noon or so since it was the weekend. Once that was done, she'd head out to Konoha and catch up on all the gossip.
The big news right now was, oddly enough, about her. Apparently people were surpised to find she wasn't going to be a part of another Ino-Shika-Cho team like several of her other family members. Instead, she got stuck with a Hyuuga girl and an Inuzuka boy. For Inoko, the girl was going to be a rival to her in both ninja skills as well as social life. If her older sister Hinata was any sign, she was going to be quite the beautiful girl. That meant boys would be all over her. Inoko always did enjoy a challenge.
