Description:
Haru is rather average for his age group. He’s around 5 ft. 10 in. tall and weighs around 140 lbs. His body is built rather lean and long, making him look a bit awkward. Some say it even reminds them of a scarecrow the way he’s built. Haru thinks this is an exaggeration of sorts, as he doesn’t see himself being that skinny. Still, he’ll admit to his body proportions being a bit off.
Moving on to the details, his hair is a bit on the messy side. It’s a dark, brownish color with maybe a tint of red to it. It’s flattened, but it parts in rather odd places and gives it the uncombed look. He wears it long enough that his bangs barely touch the top of his eyes, and in the back it goes down enough that it reaches the bottom of his ears. His eyes are a dark blue color and are a little big, but have a look of youthful optimism in them.
Clothing wise, Haru keeps himself in rather neat shape. During the week he prefers to wear the school uniform all day. It’s too much of a bother to change after school, so it’s not surprising to see him in it. He keeps it clean and pressed, making them look almost new even after he’s worn it for a long amount of time. He’ll also sport a pair of glasses for reading and other activities. However, he thinks he looks better with them, so it isn’t surprising to see him wearing them all the time.
On the weekends, Haru does loosen up a bit. He doesn’t wear the school uniform, instead opting for a more casual look. He’ll wear a pair of dark blue jeans, matched up with a belt of a slightly lighter color. As for his shoes, he wears a simple pair of white sneakers for maximum comfort and style. His shirt is a little more formal, being a white dress shirt with a pocket. However, it isn’t cleaned up like his school uniform, so it looks more casual. Underneath that is a red t-shirt, and sometimes he won’t bother with the white dress shirt and wear that instead.
Personality:

Intelligent
Haru is a rather intelligent kid when it comes to school. Sure, he isn’t at the level of the local genius Kotomi, but he isn’t shabby either. He usually makes high marks on the tests and work. Unlike Kotomi, he can’t pull up information like a walking encyclopedia, but he can get the main idea across when the need arises. To keep all this up, he usually has a book in his hand and reads a lot.
He does try to be modest about all this, though occasionally he’ll slip up and say something that sounds arrogant. If he catches it, he’ll quickly apologize and then shut up for a while afterwards. Haru doesn’t want to be seen as arrogant, and doesn’t like arrogant people that much either.
Ditzy
Even if he is intelligent, Haru can be a bit of a scatterbrain. He tends to have some short-term memory problems at times, forgetting things rather often. Confusion is not unknown to him, and he can get things mixed up pretty easily. Other times he says things that make sense to him, but not so much to everyone else. He also slips into daydreams and/or dazes, which lead to him loosing track of his surroundings.
All of this also contributes to another small issue of his; clumsiness. His lack of awareness makes it easy for him to not notice something, leading him to tripping or bumping into something. He’s usually quick enough to make sure nothing gets broken, but that doesn’t mean things don’t slip through from time to time.
Uncomfortable Around Girls
Haru is not a ladies man or Casanova. While he can talk to them fine most of the time, once the subject turns into something about dating or such he falls apart. He goes rather quiet, possibly blushing a little, and starts acting a little nervous. Holding a conversation when he is like this is still possible, but don’t expect much out of him. This, of course, doesn’t even get into the issue of physical contact. Shaking hands or something like that is fine, but past that he’ll go out of his way to avoid touching them unless they say it’s all right. If he accidentally does touch them, he is rather quick to apologize for it.
History:
Haru was born and raised in this city. His parents had moved there from another city, liking its smaller size and more comfortable atmosphere. They originally came from one of the larger cities in the country, but found the small sized apartments and traffic a pain. It was crowded, pushy, and overall it felt like a cold place to live. They wanted him to grow up to be warm and caring person, not just another rat in the race.
As he grew, however, so did the city. It bothered his parents some that it was doing so, but they decided to stay in order to keep things consistent for their son. They felt that moving after living there for so long wouldn just cause more problems. He would have to leave his friends, and then go through the trouble of making new ones in a city he knew nothing about. Besides, the city had one of the better schools around, which would be a good thing for him once he grew up. They believed a good education was a base for future improvement, and that meant from an early age Haru was learning.
As a kid, Haru took to school like a fish to water. His teachers liked him very well, saying that he was a good student. He was almost never late for class, and the when he was late it was usually because he was in the library or something. His studies left only a small amount of time for socializing, but he was able to make a few friends even so. Haru was able to keep a nice balance between work and play.
Most of the friends he did make were kids similar to him. They enjoyed reading and academics more than outside activities. While other kids hit the arcades, they would hit the library. Of course, every once in awhile they would sneak off to the arcades for a 'break'. He kept a rather even mix of boys and girls in his circle of friends, not wanting to turn away a friend because of childish boy vs. girl wars.
Upon getting into high school, however, that setup began to change. While in the lower grades he was able to get along fine with them girls,he was beginning to see them as possibly more than just friends. This kind of thought process embarrassed him, seeing as he never though he had much of a chance with them. So whenever such ideas popped in his head he showed his embarrassment through blushing, stumbling his words, and trying to get out of the area as soon as possible. This eventually manifested into his inability to even touch a girl. Most people thought he was just a rather chaste guy not looking for a date, but in reality (at least his version of reality, which tended to exaggerate some things) he was more of a ‘closet pervert.’
When it came to studies in high school, he was still one of the best. He wasn’t near the levels of some girl named Kotomi, but he was still one of the better students. He got along fine with most of the teachers and students, helping out with homework and all that. Occasionally he would be targeted for a prank from some of the delinquents, but he took it in stride. That was until the spring, in which an incident occurred that still bothers him to this day.
He was getting ready to leave school for the day when he found someone had placed a note in his locker. Reading it, apparently some girl wanted to talk to him and wanted to meet him in some room he had not heard of before. He thought it was a prank at first, but he started to second-guess himself. If this was a prank, he would just let it roll down his back like all the others. On the off chance it was not a prank, however, it would be rude and mean to leave a girl by herself.
So with that in mind, he headed off to the room mentioned in the note. Of course, he was still a first year and lacked an intricate knowledge of the school’s layout, so he was slow in doing so. Eventually he found what he hoped was the room, though he wondered why it was all the way in the wing usually reserved for clubs. Opening the door slowly, he stuck his head in to see if anyone was there; there was. Unlucky for him, it was the Drama Clubs room, and apparently they were in the middle of trying out costumes, and he came in just as they were changing. The girls in the club, who were older and therefore didn’t know him, were quick to chase him out of the room.
While he did not mind what he saw, he knew that if word got out of this, then he would be labeled a pervert. So he just sat outside in the hallway, and waited for the members to leave so he could explain the situation. When they first saw him, they were about to chase him off again till he started spouting off apologies at the speed of light, and handing them the note that had led him there. They calmed down, and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt about the situation and left it at that.
Still, word spreads quickly in a school, and while some people claimed he was just a pervert, most people still gave him the benefit of the doubt. It actually helped him a little, giving an ultimate proof of his chivalry. Of course he was just mortified at embarrassing himself like that, so he was not able to fully appreciate it. Still, after that point he was able to last a little longer with girls before breaking down.
By the time third year rolled around, memories of the incident had all but been forgotten. He returned to his normal level of obscurity, which he was fine with. Being in the spotlight was not something he enjoyed. Still, it had been two years at least, and still did not have much luck with getting over his shyness around girls. Therefore, he made himself a personal goal to talk to at least one girl this year without eventually blushing, stumbling his words, or overall embarrassing himself in front of them.
So far, his goal is partially being accomplished. Taking advantage of his time in the library, Kichiro has been working to develop a relationship of some sort with Kotomi Ichinose. Her personality has helped him a great deal in that he hasn't had to worry too much about angry reactions to his mess ups. Furthermore, she is one of the few girls who seem to not really care about his status as a 'pervert' which, although not widely talked about anymore, still haunts him a little bit. This easiness of talking with her has given him enough courage to at least attempt to hang out with her as a friend, though he does plan on trying to confess to her eventually. Whether he will be able to, however, is still up in the air.
However, recently he has gotten some help in his efforts. After a post-fortune telling question session, Kichiro found himself forced into the company of Ryou and Kyou Fujibayashi, the latter offering to help him with Kotomi. Kichiro isn't too sure how this is going to work out though...

Sample RP:
This was my sample RP for a Naruto site were I play a Yamanaka OC named Meushi (though in this sample she's Inoko, I had to change the name later on):
The sunlight creeped slowly into Inoko's room through the window next to her bed. As the room lit up, one could see the heaving form of Inoko lying in bed, still asleep. Her arm was currently lying off the bed, almost touching the floor. In a few seconds that hand would be smashin an alarm, but for now the girl was enjoying her last few seconds of...
Beeeep. Beeep. Beeeep. Beeeep.
The girl's eyes hastily opened, but it didn't take long before she turned to a half-awakened state. Her hand slammed on the alarm, but it took a few seconds before she actually hit the button to turn it off. With the annoying beep gone, she knew she was going to have to get up. Turning herself around, she shifted herself a bit as she begun to sit up. She ran her hands through her long, blonde, and currently frazzled hair. Some of it was in her face, and she had to move it out of the way. It was going to take awhile before she was going to get it fixed up. Bed-head was such a pain, so it was a good thing she got up so early.
Dragging herself to her closet, she pulled out her top and lazily put it on. It wasn't that hard as she had to just slip it over herself and lock the band that went around her neck. After that it was a quick change from pajama pants to her normal pants and she was good to go. At least for walking around her house. For now she had decided to leave the bracers off. She was just going to tend the flower fields, not battle enemy shinobi. Then again, some of the weeds were as tough as any ninja. But first an even bigger battle; taming her hair.
Grabbing a brush, she started to work on getting any tangles out of her hair. She winced as she ran into a rather tough knot, but she pulled through. Soon her hair was straightened out, and luckily she didn't have to do anything complex (she thought of copying her idol Ino's ponytail, but it turned into too big of a hassle). It took her a few minutes to get the bangs to go the way she wanted, but soon her hair was complete. No longer a mess of bed-head, it was her normal, stylish hairstyle.
"There, I believe everything's good. Just hope mom and them are up. It's such a pain when they aren't."
She headed downstairs quietly, and didn't hear any other signs of life. That meant she was the only one awake, which left her the duty of having start cooking breakfast. While she wished she could just go upstairs and go back to sleep, she knew she couldn't get away with it. Besides, she'd have to redo her hair afterwards if she did. It was just easier to make breakfast than to deal with getting herself 'dolled up' as she heard people say. So with that in mind, she headed off to the kitchen to star preparing breakfast.
Whether they liked it or not, her parents were going to get a rather simple breakfast. She didn't have time to make anything elaborate, so she simply decided to make some rice porridge. If they wanted something else, well, they're was always leftovers from dinner they could add to it. Make-your-own breakfast as she called it. As the water boiled, she pulled out some of the meat and vegetables from last night and let them thaw a little before she started to heat them up. It was about that time her mother walked in, rather groggy herself.
"Another one of your 'make-your-own breakfast' meals? Really, don't know why you even bother cooking if you're going to do that."
"Hey, if you want a decent breakfast, just get up a little earlier. Maybe you'll beat me to the kitchen," Inoko replied, giving her mother a slight grin to show she was at least partially joking.
They both knew Inoko didn't like to cook that much, as well as the fact Inoko wasn't the greatest cook in the world. Still, it was the job for whoever got up first to make breakfast for the others. Sadly for everyone involved, Inoko was the first one to get up so she could get her outfit all in order.
"Maybe if you toned down your outfit some you'd be able to sleep in more so you're not the first up," mother replied.
"You're just jealous I'm a better looker than when you were a kid," Inoko responded tongue-in-cheek. Her mother just laughed at the response for a second before adding her own quip.
"Oh trust me, back when I was in a kid, I could rival the Hyuuga girls in looks."
"Now I know you're lying about that."
This sort of thing went on for awhile. It was a common morning ritual; Inoko got up, mom got up, they poked fun at eacher, and so on. It wasn't long before Inoko's mother finally stepped in to help her cook breakfast. It still consisted mostly of rice and leftovers, but with her mother's help, at least they were half-decent. Within a few moments Inoko's dad would probably be getting up, so they added a spot for him at the table. After everyone was done eating they'd be given their jobs, she'd head off to the fields to check on the flowers, and then work till about noon or so since it was the weekend. Once that was done, she'd head out to Konoha and catch up on all the gossip.
The big news right now was, oddly enough, about her. Apparently people were surpised to find she wasn't going to be a part of another Ino-Shika-Cho team like several of her other family members. Instead, she got stuck with a Hyuuga girl and an Inuzuka boy. For Inoko, the girl was going to be a rival to her in both ninja skills as well as social life. If her older sister Hinata was any sign, she was going to be quite the beautiful girl. That meant boys would be all over her. Inoko always did enjoy a challenge.
