Just a Normal Day Out...?

Date: Sunday 18th May Time: 3:30PM It had been a long, long day. The weather had been fantastic, with sun and warmth like no other. Or maybe that was just because Sunohara actually paid attention to it for once, what with his sister dragging him around everywhere. She’d come down to visit, something she did from time to time. In one sense he enjoyed spending time with Mei. He did miss her a little, and being around her reminded him of some of the good times. But then again, she did like to drag him into the worst shops in Hikarizaka.
Now she’d left, Sunohara was kicking about the town until Tomoya showed up. It was coming to that time in the day, so no doubt Tomoya would show up and the two would walk back to Sunohara’s dorm to spend the night chilling out. In the meantime however, Sunohara would have to entertain himself. It didn’t take long for him to find something to entertain him. Further down the street he spied a certain girl; Sakagami, one of the two girls he usually steered clear of unless he had some sort of a plan in mind. And on this particular occasion, his boredom gave way to just such a plan.
If I can’t beat her in school…then maybe I’ll have better luck here. She’ll be off her guard, so perhaps I can get her to give me something to use against her. Maybe I can try to gain her trust…maybe…just maybe. Then, when her guard is completely down…BAM! I’ll take what I need and run before she even knows what happened! A quiet chuckle left the lips of Sunohara Youhei. This had to be one of his best plans to date, without any doubt. Everyone was more relaxed outside of school afterall. This would leave Tomoyo more vulnerable to his charms.
Following behind her for a short way, Sunohara found himself struggling to keep up. She sure walked fast…
Finding himself with no choice, Sunohara had to open his mouth.
“Hey! Sakagami!”

Sakagami Tomoyo ______________________________________________________
Her shoes clicked softly against the pavement, and while Tomoyo walked alone, she couldn't say she was lonely in the slightest. The cheery storefronts drifted by without her notice; her thoughts still lingered on a certain first-year's distant brown eyes. It was moments like these that she would notice the liveliness and depth of the town... but she supposed it was the same in every corner of the world. Everyone had their own stories, their own lives. They weren't merely "other people" living mundane days.
A loud, brazen voice shook her from her reverie. “Hey! Sakagami!”
Tomoyo turned quickly around and blinked at the boy standing there. While it took her a moment to register his presence, his bleached blond hair and ever-present mischievous countenance eliminated all doubt in her mind. He was Sunohara through and through. A mix of expressions ran through her face in that single moment of realization.
“Oh. It’s just you,”
the silver-haired girl remarked, the initial surprise gone from her face. All that was left was a sort of straight-faced curiosity, the kind that was ultimately disappointed but had resolved to make do with what was available. Tomoyo couldn't help but notice that there was something... off about Sunohara. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. It definitely wasn’t his lack of a school uniform. While some people looked completely and unexpectedly different outside of school; Sunohara wasn’t one of them. In fact, she decided that casual clothes suited him even more. Then what was it? She glanced at the space beside and behind him. There was only empty cobbled sidewalk. Okazaki wasn’t with him; that in itself was unusual. Having solved the mystery, she idly directed her attention to other matters. Tomoyo glanced at the boy’s hands for shopping bags only to discover that they were free. Why was he here? It was a valid question, but Tomoyo quickly realized it was unlikely she'd care about any possible answer he might provide. Instead, there was something much more relevant she wanted to know. Not once could she remember a time Sunohara spoke to her for the sake of mere conversation. She glanced quickly about; there were people everywhere. He couldn’t possibly be thinking to pull one of his typically weird stunts here, could he? With a hand on the back of her neck, she considered giving him the benefit of the doubt. After all, it wasn’t every day that you saw your schoolmates out in public. She asked him anyway. "What do you want?" [/blockquote]

Ayumu liked cloudy days better than days like this, peppered with sunlight and heat (and he liked rainy days the best, but that goes without saying). Sure, it was not like there was a heat wave crawling about the place, but the Mizukami's preferences for weather have always been a little skewed.
As it was, the boy was, a little lazily, strolling about the district, lugging a bunch of school supplies-- different sorts of paper and whatnot-- in a disposable bag, erratically zigzagging from shade to shade, as if staying upon shadowed spots would spare him from the temperature of summer.
He had just finished doing a little shopping for his little sister, for some project of hers that she was being mysterious about, and now he was considering a snack, possibly one that was cold, although he was not sure if he would like sweets... and cold treats were almost always sweet.
He was interrupted from deliberating whether there was anything edible that was both chilly and salty, when he chanced upon a site that he had wanted to see: a blonde-haired guy, talking with a sharp-eyed Sakagami-san... well, there could be other people with yellow-dyed crowns who would be following Sakagami-san (he had heard of varying rumors)... but could he be Sunohara-senpai?
He had wanted to ascertain, before, the nature of Furukawa-senpai's strange helpers. He had only managed to make the tense acquaintance of Okazaki-senpai, after a little fiasco involving a feisty character, which helped him see certain sides of Okazaki-san that he would not have been able to see otherwise.
While he may be wrong in his hypothesis, he had nothing much better to do, anyway... and considering what he had heard about the other half of the delinquent duo, he supposed this could even be... entertaining. So, with the intent of observing, he approached, waving his hand a bit slothfully.
If this was what he thought it was, he would be able to verify certain things... if this was Sunohara, if he was involved with Furukawa-san's activities... and he might even have, yet again, a catalyst in the form of a decidedly different, but, Ayumu supposed, equally feisty character.
"Good afternoon, Sakagami-san... and...?" he greeted, and at the same time, inquired of the other male's identity.

”Oh, it’s just you.” Charming as ever. Clearly she didn’t respect all of the trouble that he was going through to expose her. Nonetheless, Sunohara kept his composure. Afterall, this plan was absolutely flawless.
”What do you want?” An opening! It was time for Sunohara to work his magic – and by magic, it meant mischief. He casually flicked his hair out of his face and sighed a long, drawn out sigh. It was probably a little too long, but for Sunohara it was about the right length.
”Don’t be like that Sakagami-chan…you know what school’s like right? So much pressure from those above and all. You know I don’t mean any of it don’t you?
As if on cue, a third voice broke into the conversation.
”Good afternoon, Sakagami-san and…?”
Sunohara wheeled his head around to see who the voice belonged to, and was met by someone he didn’t recognise. All he knew was that this boy – who appeared to be younger than he was – was intruding on his very well thought-out plan. He had half a mind to tell the boy to leave, but this could potentially damage his plan more than…wait, did he say Sakagami-SAN?! This was perfect! Sakagami KNEW this guy. She’d be more relaxed with him here, meaning that Sunohara would be able to work his way in much easier. Today is a GOOD day!
The blond boy quickly straightened himself up and smiled at the younger boy, albeit somewhat mischievously. ”Sunohara Youhei. Afternoon. And you are?”
