#A more thorough description (optional) ;When it comes to appearances, Sunohara Youhei often gets mixed reviews. Standing at 167cm (5’6”) and with a reasonably (but not particularly noticeable) athletic frame, Youhei stands a little shorter than his best friend Tomoya, but it’s his bleached blond hair – which is naturally black - and deep blue eyes that really contrasts the two delinquents, and that makes Sunohara stand out a little more.
During school time, Youhei is always seen in his uniform; a pair of dark blue trousers, brown slip on shoes, a white shirt (not forgetting the red tie of course) and the school’s yellow blazer with his year and class crest emblazoned on the pocket on the right breast. He wears this very grudgingly however – much as he hates it, he doesn’t want to be expelled from high school - and will remove the uniform as soon as he returns to his dormitory, much preferring his casual clothing of choice; This varies depending on what he’s got planned, whether it be a soccer shirt and shorts for lounging in, or a simple and casual shirt and jeans combo for walking about Hikarizaka.

A young man of many personas; this is the best way to describe the oddball that is Sunohara Youhei.
The immediate reaction one would give upon meeting him would usually be one of disgust or discontent. A second chance would probably result in a similar reaction, since Sunohara almost always fails to learn from his mistakes; he comes across as a hopeless waste of space, who would love nothing more than to pass through the day doing…well, nothing really, besides pulling pranks on unsuspecting students.
His sly and mischievous behaviour has gotten him into trouble on numerous occasions, and yet he will try over and over again to achieve the same objective – even those he is destined to fail at, usually involving girls. He is generally a happy-go-lucky kinda guy - although maybe without the luck so much - which is more obvious when contrasted with Okazaki’s more relaxed aura. It’s not surprising to see Sunohara doing most of the legwork in their pranks, however his eagerness and excitement means he often goes over the top with his actions.
However, if you give him the opportunity and are patient with him, you will see just how deep and thoughtful the boy can be.
Sunohara is a loyal friend to the end, and although he may initially respond to things in an idiotic or comical manner, he will always pull through if his friends need him to. His loyalty to his family is second to none. Despite his distant relationship with his sister Mei, he will do anything to ensure she is safe, unhurt, and for the most part, as happy as she can be.
Leading on from this, Sunohara can actually be very honourable; he doesn’t believe that people should get advantages because of handicaps. On top of this, he will do everything within his power to get his point across if he feels something is wrong or out of order; this has gotten him into various disputes, such as one with the Soccer Club which resulted in him being kicked from the club and banned for life.

Sunohara Youhei was born and raised in a far an environment about as far different as you could possibly imagine from the one he currently lives in. His childhood was simple; he was raised by loving parents alongside his younger sister Mei. The two siblings grew up with a close bond and eventually grew into a life based solely on that bond, with Sunohara protecting Mei if any problems arose – and with Mei later keeping track of her brother’s lifestyle and love interests.
Sometime as he grew up, Youhei found something he enjoyed and loved; soccer. While he loved his family, it was a different kind of happiness that he felt with a ball at his feet, almost like nothing else mattered. As time went on, he grew to be good with a ball, talented, and this talent would open up the opportunity to enter a middle school in the city. In middle school however, his love of soccer, and his self-centred ambitions soon made him arrogant; he dyed his hair blond, in the hopes it would make him more eye-catching and to attract interest. He wanted to be somebody that everybody wanted to be and looked up to. To do so, he had to force himself into a very strict lifestyle; during the day he’d be playing soccer and going to lessons. At night he’d be doing any work that needed handing in, to ensure his good grades didn’t drop. His hard efforts paid off, and he was offered a placement at Hikarizaka High School on a Soccer recommendation.
Things were looking better and better for Sunohara - himself included in his eyes. However his school-life and his dreams took an immediate turn after he joined the Soccer club. The members were all loud, all confident, and all boisterous. They loved nothing more than to push people around; Sunohara was one of these people, but he would never take it lying down. He one day snapped, and his actions caused an all-out brawl within the club, resulting in his exile. While the day itself was a bad one, it ended on a high when he met his soon-to-be best friend and prank-partner Okazaki Tomoya. The two were brought together by Kimura-Sensei, and upon the sight of one another, they simply burst into fits of laughter. The two have been best friends ever since, skipping lessons – and occasionally school altogether – and Okazaki will often visit and stay at Sunohara’s dorm room.The Roleplayer's Corner

It had been one hellish day. He’d put all his thoughts and efforts into proving Sakagami Tomoyo was a guy. And for what? For Sakagami to find another loophole in his best plot yet – how did he not see that Sakagami wouldn’t lend him a razor? - and for him to receive yet another flurry of kicks to the gut. This girl…guy…whatever Sakagami was, they were going to be the death of him. Sunohara entered Class 3-D in low spirits and a lot of pain, slumping onto his desk. Not caring much for the lesson, he felt his eyes close and his mind wander, imagining the day he would finally defeat his new arch-nemesis. He would expose Sakagami, if it was the last thing he did.

”Sunohara. It’s after school already”
Sunohara’s eyes opened groggily, barely registering the owner of the voice in his semi-conscious state; Okazaki. ”Classes are over?” Was he hearing this correct? He’d slept through the rest of the day without punishment? GREAT!
”Yes, about one hundred years ago.”
”One hundred?” Oh Okazaki, that was poor. ”Hahaha, then you’d be dead!”
”Yes. I’m a hologram.”
Such a straight face…was this hologram serious? Anxiety suddenly crept through Youhei’s body as he raised his head from the table.
”Seriously?!”
”You’ve slept for a hundred years after being kicked by Tomoyo. This is a world a hundred years since then.”
So he was right! That Sakagami! She’d caused so much damage to his body so much that he’d slept for a hundred years to just to recover. But then…how much had changed in that time?
”What?! Then what happened to the world?!”
The cold harsh truth was given to him in a cruel, uncaring tone from the hologram of Okazaki.
”It ended.”
”SERIOUSLY?! Father! Mother! I’m sorry, I was an idiot to the end!”
Everything he’d had was gone before he’d been able to say goodbye. His parents were probably ashamed of him as they died. His sister would’ve seen him as a failure…
”I’ll live my best even if I’m alone!”
”Wake up already.”
The hologram moved to kick him and…succeeded?! Holograms couldn’t kick! OKAZAKI HOLOGRAM HAD LIED TO HIM!
”You’re real!”
”I’m actually a cyborg.”
…well…that makes sense now. There’s nothing in the room to project a hologram, so a cyborg seems more real. But if he lied about that then…
“Then when you said the world ended…?”
Another cold, heartless tone as the words left Okazaki Cyborg’s mouth.
”It’s true.”
So Okazaki Cyborg hadn’t lied about that!
”Father! Mother! I’m sorry I was such an idiot! I’ll live to my fullest with the Okazaki Cyborg!”
”I can’t believe you can keep it going for so long…”
”You were lying?”
”You believed it?”
”I would since I was half asleep!”
How dare Okazaki trick him like this! What had he done to deserve this?! Okazaki had humiliated him (albeit in an empty classroom) and now…now his attention was on something out of the window?!
”OKAZAKI!!!”
