Sakagami Tomoyo ______________________________________________________
She drifted through the school corridor alone, glancing at the name plates of the rooms which were mounted firmly on the wall to the side of each door. It was after school hours now. Not much time had passed since the last bell rang, dismissing students from their classes for the day. It had only been 30 minutes since the bell, and Tomoyo was running an errand for her English language teacher.
“Sakagami,” her teacher had spotted her in the hallway, “do you have time right now?”
And so, Tomoyo was left with the task of retrieving a folder of papers her teacher had accidentally left in the teacher’s lounge. Her teacher had to leave early to go to an appointment right away, and it was Tomoyo’s job to return the folder to the teacher’s desk. The silver-haired junior had a reputation among her teachers for being dependable and responsible, and so her teacher trusted that Tomoyo would run that little errand without causing any problems. It really was no trouble for the Sakagami. She was glad to be of help.
Ah, here it is. Tomoyo had only been to the teacher’s lounge once or twice, but she was certain it was the right room. “Teacher’s Lounge” was written on the wall plate as clear as day. The door was already open, so she entered to find a luxurious room (It was comfy compared to the classrooms, anyway...). It was well-furnished with a couple of paintings hanging on the white walls and it had vending machine in the corner, a microwave on a table, a couch against the wall, and other pieces of furniture which were arranged nicely.
Not wishing to dawdle, she immediately began the search for her teacher’s folder.
“It should be on the long table in the center of the room. You can’t miss it.”
That was what she had been told. Tomoyo found it easy to assume one of the following: either she was blind, or her teacher had been mistaken about the location of the folder.
“Where could it be...?” the girl wondered aloud with a huff. This was troublesome. She couldn’t leave without fulfilling her duty. The room was fairly clean, too. There was no way it could be hiding under any stack of papers, because such a stack was nonexistent here. So where could the folder possibly be hiding...?

[Warning: Lemony Narrator is lemony for this post.]
His intestines sure have chosen the right time to force him to go to the bathroom. Immediately after class and waking up from his usual nap on the desk, the alarm instantly activated itself inside his body, demanding the blond to proceed with the expulsion process. The time was dire; he hadn't had the occasion to do the operation since he went to bed last night. With every movements of his orchestrated toward the bathroom, this extreme urgency of one Sunohara Youhei was that he had to take a crap, and pronto. It was only fortunate that he had told Okazaki to wait for him as he finished his business because he had something important to talk to him about. Besides, they were going to hang out at his place so why wouldn't he wait?
At least it was important to Youhei, considering the half-hour he spent there in the Thinker pose as he ejected faecal matters in a toilet. Of course, as per usual Sunohara being Sunohara this something was quite promising... in the sense that it was sure to fail in some way or another. Ho ho ho- It was quite the long job, lasting about thirty minutes until the sound of a toilet flushing could be heard in the safety of the bathroom. The Thinker pose was aborted once the delinquent rose from his seat and after doing the manual action of wiping oneself, went for his pants and buckled his belt. All was done. With this, Sunohara proudly walked out of the bathroom, having figured a plan for that something he wanted to talk to his fellow delinquent about. The effort was quite admirable, Youhei, but you forgot to wash your hands! What would your mother think? Fool.
"Sorry for the wait Okazaki," Youhei announced as he walked out of the door with his hand--his unwashed hand, that fool--raised. "It took longer than expected." It was also fortunate that Tomoya had the patience to wait half an hour for Sunohara instead of walking off on him.
"So yeah, I wanted to talk to you about something." He started on a tone that clearly indicated that he had devised some, as he would say, diabolical plan that would surely prevail. Let's hope that all that time spent in the bathroom was not wasted. "Do you remember that Tomoyo chick? Sakagami Tomoyo? Well, I just formed a plan on how we can finally defeat her!" With a bright, Sunoharaesque grin, Youhei revealed his plan as he rubbed his hands devilishly while walking down the corridor with his friend. "You see, I figured the reason why she always won those fights! The reason is simple: We always fought in the corridor! Tomoyo uses kicks, which means that open spaces are extremely important as she needs it to attack. To win, we need to restrict and limit her movements, if you get my drift. In short..."
What was Sunohara Youhei's surekill plan that will transcend time to defeat the bear? The public was getting antsy, waiting for the ultimate revelation. Yeah, right. Sunohara's blue eyes shone with a glint as he stopped and adopted a pose that shouted confidence, hands on his sides. "We have to get her in a closed space! We're going to trap her in a classroom, you will close the door and I will defeat her in no time! Great idea, right?"
That was the best thing he had came up with? Locking himself up with the bear? Truly that was a plan of a Sunohara level. This is going to be fun. For us, that is.
“Where could it be...?” That voice clearly was familiar, even to this one's ears. Feminine and clear, even the blond delinquent could figure out that the voice coming from the teacher's lounge had Sakagami Tomoyo as its owner. He heard it so many times, after all. Not to forget that she happened to be his one-sided rival.
Would you compare him to an astral being, Sunohara would be a sun--or beyond the sun. He would be... a super sun! His whole body brightened at the sound of the unsuspecting girl's voice, slowly becoming ecstatic as his grin grew even larger if it ever could. "Okazaki! Let's put the plan in motion, right now! It's a chance! A chance!" He clearly was not going to let this opportunity to get back at Tomoyo go away. Youhei slowly advanced toward the opening of the teacher's lounge, preparing himself to bounce at his prey (There is no secret meaning behind this) and suddenly motioned Tomoya to proceed with the operation and fulfil his role. "On the count of three, Okazaki." He held up three fingers for emphasis, dropping them as he counted from one to three. "One... two... three!"
The idiot put his plan in motion, speeding in the room like a tiger in rut (As this one said, there is no secret meaning behind this.) It was at the moment Tomoya closed the door that the delinquent charged at the bear, unnecessarily shouting with his fists poised: "Chance! It's payback time!"

Like hell he had the patience to wait half an hour, after all, he had more important things to do with his life...such as sleeping...or doing something that didn't involve going home. Still...he didn't want to disappear on him quite yet, after all, he would ultimately end up lounging around in his room, bored, waiting for him to come home...he shivered in disgust at the thought and left the room - he would never sink that low. Sunohara had had that glint in his eye, the one that almost always resulted in his own misdoing and disastrous outcome. He wouldn't have to work very hard to prank him today...but then again, there was always tomorrow wasn't there? Normally he would never put more then a few seconds of thought into fooling the blond, but today was special, today he was at the mercy of the boy's ridiculous bladder. He briefly took a trip around the school, so as to not look suspicious loitering around, and returned to his homeroom just in time to find it empty. Fortunately for him, the majority of students in the school were too busy with there lives to be chatting in classes for any significant period of time, a principle that held true for the teachers as well. 10 minutes had passed - he would have enough time.
On his stroll around the school, he had actually been looking for a janitor's closet, or a maintenance room. In very little time he had found his goal and had procured the item he had been searching for - a screwdriver. Walking back into the room, he kneeled down besides the desk Sunohara always plopped into and began his work. It didn't take very long - in fact it only took 10 minutes to loosen the correct bolts so that the desk was as flimsy as a piece of cardboard. He briefly tested it before spending an additional 5 minutes to return the screwdriver back to it's home. This all would have been worthy to note, had he not been distracted the entire time. As he had toiled away, his mind was on another planet, thinking of things that had nothing to do with the prank at hand. He thought of a girl struggling to remake a club to fulfill her dream, he thought of a dream that he could only vaguely procure a lonely feeling from, he thought of a vicious girl and her timid sister badgering him about the most trivial things...it wasn't until his mind wandered to his own family that he ceased to think entirely and assumed his previous position, only to be met a few moments later by the infamous blond.
He absentmindedly followed beside him, listening to his new "genius" plan, making sarcastic comments out loud while pointing out all the flaws in his head. A good friend would have done the opposite - but he was more then a good friend, he was a true friend, and true friends allow others to learn from their mistakes - even if they never learned a thing.
His idiocy had no bounds, what prevented her from kicking him through the ceiling? He imagined that would likely be much worse then what had already perspired. There was of course the fact that most of the rooms in the school had the exact same height as the hallway, so limiting her to a room would make absolutely no difference...but as a true friend, he was only obligated to say, with a thumbs up and a dashing smile no less.
"Perfect plan! And when you trap her inside, I'll be sure to lock you in so we can hide the evidence."
He had expected a quick retort of "don't do that!", but it was far too late for that. His target had been spotted, straight ahead into the...teachers lounge. This...wasn't going to end well...for anybody. It was too late to stop him, he was already running ahead, counting to himself...and he was far too lazy to make a real effort to reason through his block headed idiocy. He could always make a run for it...but he would inevitably be blamed, Sunohara was good at ratting out his friends like that...no choice now but to close the door and hide the evidence...on the count of three he closed the door behind him...after all, he wouldn't miss a flying Sunohara for the world. Especially if it were through the ceiling. That would be an environment bonus. [/blockquote]

Sakagami Tomoyo ______________________________________________________
A battle cry pierced through the air, belonging to none other than the pathetically persistent pest named Sunohara Youhei. Tomoyo looked over her shoulder at the voice, and then she turned around without any sign of a hurry to face the idiot charging straight toward her. Her blue eyes were narrowed at him in slight irritation. She didn’t have the time or patience for any of his challenges right now, although she never had patience for his challenges in the first place. Was this guy trying to find a clever way to commit suicide or something?
“First of all, you’re too noisy,” Tomoyo stated, blank-faced, as she sent Sunohara soaring with a front kick to his stomach. The blond didn’t go far, seeing as how he smashed into the ceiling within hardly a second’s time of being airborne. Dust and other particles drifted down from the impact, followed shortly after by something resembling a contorted human body, which crashed down onto the floor in a heap.
Her eyes then found the creature’s constant companion, Okazaki Tomoya. Unlike Sunohara, Okazaki's presence wasn't an annoyance. She noticed he had closed the door, but the thought didn’t cross her mind that it might be locked. “Second of all... Don’t tell me he’s going to be bothering me after school from now on...”
Tomoyo let out an exasperated sigh. “I get enough of his harassment during school hours. Please, make him stop.” She was asking the senior for a favor which she doubted would be honored. Did Okazaki find enjoyment from watching these kinds of scenes unfold, from seeing his stubborn friend continue humiliate himself?
Whatever it was, she surveyed the damage Sunohara’s presence had caused to the room. The floor had a light dusting of debris on its surface, along with a body that needed to be taken care of.
... Actually, he’ll be okay. Sunohara was strangely very resilient. Tomoyo figured he’d do well on a sports team of some sort. He always sprang back to life, which was quite a miraculous thing considering how strong of a hit he sometimes took. Perhaps he’d be well-suited for a contact sport. He didn't give up either, so that'd be good if he was on a team. Right now however, these traits of his were merely irksome.
Tomoyo put her hands on her hips and stared at Okazaki. “What’s he trying to accomplish now? He already knows I’m a girl...” she complained. They had already settled it a few days ago (Tomoyo was relieved by this), but Sunohara hadn’t yielded in his efforts to fight her, which was troublesome to say the least. She shook her head then, as if to say that the answer wasn’t really important. “Whatever. Well, if you hadn’t noticed, I’m busy right now,” Tomoyo said dismissively.
Really, when was she not busy? “So not to shoo you away or anything, but you’re just getting in the way here, so it’d be best if you leave,” Tomoyo suggested. Little did she know, leaving would be impossible...

"Chance! It's payback time!" Such was the battle cry that a grinning Sunohara - albeit in an arrogant way of doing so - let out upon commencing his charge toward Sakagami Tomoyo in the teacher's lounge. It was the moment of truth; would Sunohara's perfect (snickers) plan finally defeat the undefeatable junior? With all his might and stubbornness, Youhei painfully believed that it was the case. He took her by surprise, and the terrain did not look very good to her. In the matter of a second, he would punch the girl right in the middle of her pretty face and knock her down in a way that would make G*rland proud.
That's when reality struck him right in the stomach with the force of a truck that was thrown by the universe's slingshot. That, or two gorillas at full strength. Either way, it struck him hard. First of all, as Tomoyo blankly stated, Sunohara was way too noisy when he entered the room during his charge, which pretty much ruined the whole meaning of a surprise attack. Second, even a child would have known that a girl that was as proficient with kicks as Tomoyo would have more attacks than a simple roundhouse kick. In the eyes of a normal person, Youhei's plan was a failure. It lacked logic, and considering Youhei's overall personality everything was doomed from the beginning. Natch.
Her front kick, powerful as it was, allowed Sunohara to temporarily obtain the power of flight without wings. For a moment, the world around him, now in slow-motion, sparkled with a beautiful imaginary light as the ragdoll flew in a way that would make Icarus proud. Truly the Flight of Sunohara™ was a beautiful sight that would be remembered by everyone. At least it was beautiful until the delinquent himself crashed into the ceiling, cutting the trip short.
Sunohara Youhei let out a sharp, painful yell as his body collided with the hard surface of the ceiling. Would he have been anyone else, his bones would have probably broken from the impact, but thankfully he wasn't. It was quite the opposite; with a hard and durable body, Youhei was able to withstand anything. He started to fall back to the floor, and in less than a second his body finally crashed down in a heap. His body started to feel cold... Was he about to die in his first thread?
"Please don't kill me off!" The dying boy said. Denying his fate, Sunohara moaned those last words that would be remembered by the two occupants of the teacher's lounge. A peaceful smile crept on his face once he felt the air around him calm down. Maybe it was his fate to die like this. Life started to fade away from his eyes as he contemplated the afterlife. What would Mei say? What would his mother say? What would his father say? What would they say once they would learn about Youhei's death? "I... I have no regrets... You truly are my eternal rival..." His body completely stopped, and with this... he fell unconscious for a short while.

9 hit Combo! NEW RECORD!
The blond had received quite a bit of air time - as expected from Tomoyo. The crash with the ceiling was the most spectacular part as dust and rumble seemed to rain all around - fortunately though, the ceiling seemed to be made of significantly stronger material then the walls and flooring of the building and somehow managed to resist Sunohara's head. He could see the blond laying unconscious on the ground - though he was hardly worried, Sunohara would be back on his feet within the hour. He couldn't help but mull over the fool proof nature of Sunohara's plan - by closing the door there was virtually no chance of anyone finding the body - or investigating the noise, as his dynamic impact into the ceiling would have been heavily dampened by the fact that the door, was indeed, closed. That was his companion Sunohara for you - always thinking with his head - though rarely with his brain. He shrugged in a sign of defeat and could only answer her request with an unfortunate fact.
"He's like a wild dog - always running lose with nobody to reign him in, I really have no choice but to watch..."
Well, it wasn't entirely true. Given how stupid he was, he was certain he could get him to stop attacking her if he tried hard enough...but exerting so much effort seemed too much for him - especially since he attained so much free entertainment from simply letting him run free. To her second question he couldn't help but inwardly smile at the memories of that particular incident. It's soft and warm. Genuine. The look on Sunohara's face was priceless.
"He probably doesn't want to accept that girls can beat out guys when it comes to physical strength..."
While the attempt to blow him off was unpleasant, he didn't let it bother him too much - Tomoyo was a busy girl, and in her eyes he was nothing more then a delinquent with a troublesome friend - a girl like her and a guy like him simply weren't destined to get along. He absentmindedly looked around the room as he ignored her attempt to shoo him off, moving towards the area she was searching and picking up a parchment.
"Is this what you were looking for?"

Sakagami Tomoyo ______________________________________________________
A wave of disappointment washed over Tomoyo. Was it truly impossible to convince Sunohara to quit pestering her? Okazaki compared Sunohara to a wild dog – always running loose. Tomoyo saw another trait of Sunohara’s which likened him to a dog; he seemed to lack the ability to learn from his mistakes. Actually, dogs do learn from past errors, but apparently Sunohara’s intelligent was inferior to a dog’s mind.
It was annoying. She didn’t even understand Sunohara’s motive for challenging her. Did he bother his classmates this much? They must surely hate him. Tomoyo was a person with a big-heart. She didn’t hate Sunohara; she only disliked his actions. Her feminine, motherly nature (or so she liked to believe) was what made it so hard for her to hate anybody. However, other people tended to be not so big-hearted. Sunohara was a guy who needed to be more worried for his future.
“He probably doesn't want to accept that girls can beat out guys when it comes to physical strength...” Tomoya explained his friend’s unrelenting behavior.
If that was the case, would there be any way to make Sunohara accept the fact that she was a girl? He certainly had a big ego and wanted to maintain his “manly” pride if he so desperately wanted that to be true. Girls could be stronger than guys, right? Yes, guys naturally had more muscle... but did it make Tomoyo less girly if she could win against a guy like Sunohara any day?
It was a little depressing to think too much about whether or not it made her mannish, so Tomoyo shifted her thoughts to her previous task of finding her teacher’s folder, which Sunohara and Okazaki were naturally getting in the way of. It wasn’t Okazaki’s fault – he was a good guy – but it was just Sunohara who caused all the trouble, but the unfortunate truth was that they seemed to come as a packaged deal together.
Okazaki seemed to completely ignore Tomoyo’s request for them to leave. Instead, he moved across the room wordlessly. She realized it would be difficult to move Sunohara out of the way, since he was now knocked out. He had gone out dramatically, uttering his last dying words and everything else. Along with that, he had said something stupid about her being his eternal rival... whatever he was trying to mean by that. Didn’t being rivals need to be a two-way deal? It would be wasted breath trying to explain it to him.
“Is this what you were looking for?” Okazaki was holding up a manila folder, its contents bearing a thin stack of papers.
Tomoyo stared at it for a moment, looking over it quickly as if to confirm its identity, and then walked toward him to take it from his hands. She nodded and smiled gratefully. “Ah, thanks, Okazaki. I’m puzzled as to how I didn’t see it before, but yeah, this is it.” Her eyes moved from Tomoya to Youhei and then back to Tomoya.
“Well, I’m pretty much done here. I’ll see you around,” the junior girl said goodbye as she advanced toward the door, only to turn the knob and realize it wasn’t turning the full way. She paused for a moment, and then twisted it the other way. Same result. Tomoyo furrowed her brow, befuddled. She twisted it both ways, more forcefully this time, to no avail. She turned the knob and pushed, then pulled. Confused, Tomoyo turned around to face Okazaki.
“Hm? ... It won’t open,” she stated, bewilderment more present in her voice than worry. Tomoyo stepped to the side, inviting the senior to give the doorknob a try. The thought of the door being locked hadn’t planted its seed firmly in Tomoyo’s head yet, but it was just beginning to settle in. Her breath caught in her throat at the thought of being locked in. What were the chances? Wouldn’t there be a way to unlock it from the inside? Tomoyo eyed the keyhole. The presence of a keyhole meant the answer to be negative, but she wasn’t ready to wallow in despair quite yet.

It was clear that the door was locked. Tomoyo had checked, and he was confident she wasn't the type to be clumsy enough not to understand how a door works. But, unfortunately, logic never seemed to matter when it came to human nature. He had to try it for himself, otherwise the burning question of whether the door truly was locked would have gnawed away at his mind until there was nothing else left in his thoughts but the thought of trying to open that door...so clearly, trying now was the only logical choice. He gave her a quizzical look as if to question the validity of the statement and walked over to the door himself, stating
"Let me try it."
He twisted the knob and pulled. It didn't budge. He twisted once again, this time pushing the door. Not an inch. In fact, twisting the knob didn't seem to do much good as the knob would not even twist properly - likely because it was locked. That damn Sunohara, was this part of his plan all along? He glanced over to the corpse beside him and couldn't help but dismiss the thought immediately - no way could he have orchestrated this entire scenario. He checked the door for a lock of some kind before his heart began to sink in defeat.
"It's locked."
He was bewildered himself, not only because the door was locked, but because it was locked from the inside. How was that even possible? What kind of room locks from the inside? There was a keyhole above the knob...but shouldn't that have been on the outside? What kind of idiot had built this door? It was backwards! It seemed impossible for a door like this to exist, yet here it was, staring him in the face. He quickly turned and made his way towards the windows, checking if there was an alternate means of escape, when, yet again, he found they were all sealed shut - unable to be opened from the inside. Just what kind of place was this?! He looked up to find a vent to escape from, but was further disappointed to find that the design was archaic, and the panel could not be removed. If he were to think about it in further detail, the fact that this was the old building would point to the lack of common sense that he seemed to be finding in every corner of the room - but that only continued to hammer the question in, just what kind of place had this been before it had been turned into the "Teachers Lounge". He had avoided it for obvious reasons - namely being that he was a student - not to mention a very bad one at that. If he had known the room was so backwards he might have checked it out on his many excursions down the halls of this very building. No wonder the door was always open... He turned to Tomoyo with a grave look and simply declared.
"We're trapped."

“Let me try it,” Okazaki said as he tested the doorknob. The first try was a failure, as was the second. The entire scene reminded Tomoyo of the western story with the sword stuck in the stone, with people attempting to pull it out in order to claim the throne. However, the difference here was that Okazaki and Tomoyo weren’t trying to achieve anything great. Their only desire was to leave the room.
Tomoyo should have trusted her own door-opening abilities, but the mere thought of being trapped inside the teacher’s lounge was too incredible. It was clear Okazaki had given up opening the door as well. “It’s locked,” he announced.
“I was hoping that wasn’t the case,”
Tomoyo grimaced. It appeared that Okazaki shared the same feelings about the situation as she did, judging by the disbelieving tone in the senior boy’s voice. It was all unbelievable. Was it unbelievable because the two of them just didn’t want to believe this was happening, or was being locked in a room just that unusual? To be frank, both were true; at least in Tomoyo’s opinion. She couldn’t recall any other time she had been locked inside a room. Wasn’t a door like this a serious fire hazard? She wanted to think that they were both being stupid and didn’t know how to open a simple door, but there was no other way to open this one. They had pushed and pulled and twisted, but none of those efforts had come to fruition. She paced a few steps after Okazaki, but stopped after three. The junior watched him investigate the windows and a vent in the room. He moved from one to the next, obviously not seeing anything that would be of use. That’s right... we can’t give up yet.Tomoyo set the now unimportant folder onto the table and took it upon herself to futilely search the room for something that might serve as an escape route. She double checked the windows; they were indeed locked from the inside, just like the door. Tomoyo turned at Okazaki’s voice. “We’re trapped,” the delinquent declared with dreaded certainty. Was that really true? The silver-haired girl considered their alternatives. She could honestly kick the door down, but she quickly reconsidered it as she weighed the possible consequences. That would be countable as vandalism, wouldn’t it...? As a hopeful student council president candidate, it would be wise for her to continue staying out of trouble. There was an easier way to go about this. “If we knock on the door loudly enough, maybe someone will hear us and they’ll fetch an administrator who has a key to the room,” Tomoyo reasoned as she made her way to the locked door, ready to begin pounding at it. She raised her fist up, but stopped midway. “Say, why did you guys even close the door in the first place?” she asked. Despite her choice of words, she wasn’t accusing them of anything. They wouldn’t have known it was locked. Even she had no idea. Tomoyo shook her head soon after the question escaped her lips. “Nevermind... What’s done is done,” she said. “Now help me catch someone’s attention.” [/blockquote]

Even under the short state of unconsciousness he was in, the brain of our favorite delinquent-slash-chew toy Sunohara Youhei couldn't help but register parts of the conversation that was occuring between the two other occupants of the very room that was the teacher's lounge. Not that it was enough for the blonde to register the full conversation and understand it completely, he had that nagging feeling that the two of them were talking about him; probably not in a good way.
Consciousness started to drift his senses back into action as the atmosphere surrounding the room started to freeze for a reason that he was unaware of. Youhei's eyes slowly started to open, engraving the sight of the ground zero of the collision between him and the ceiling. She really got me good, didn't she? He thought to himself as he admired the collateral damage he - or rather Sakagami - had caused during his short flight. He just knew how lucky he was to survive such a shock; someone other than himself would probably have had to be transported to the hospital after being on the receiving end of Sakagami's merciless kicks. He had the endurance and luck to survive such abuse on a daily basis, such was his fate. Maybe it was karma caused by another life of his.
The mere action of sitting up brought immense pain to Youhei's abdominal area. His stomach muscles, contracting at every movement required for him to struggle back into a comfortable position, were in pain. He felt like he had been the lucky surviving victim of a car accident, only on a lower scale due to him not having broken anything from the contact of his junior's foot and his stomach. "Gh- It- It hurts..." The blonde mumbled to himself, reminding himself of the pain he was going through. It's okay... In a minute, everything's going to be all right... Using his arm as a support, the delinquent finally held himself in a position that could be called sitting.
Where were Okazaki and Tomoyo? He asked himself in a single thought as his blue gaze swept the room in search of the two students. They didn't go very far; his eyes stopping at the sight of them... trying to open the door that would obviously be the exit. They didn't seem to be extremely successful in their attempts to open the entrance, which eventually led to them confirming that they were... "Locked in!?" Youhei exclaimed on a nervous tone, finally announcing his current consciousness to the other occupants. He remembered now. The teacher's lounge's door had been one of his favorite pranks to pull on people when he was still in the soccer club. Somehow, during his days as a member of a sports club, Youhei became conscious of one thing regarding the teacher's lounge: its door had been installed the wrong way which meant that instead of locking it from the outside, the door had to be locked from the inside. With the auto-lock and everything, the occasion was perfect for the blonde and a couple of his former teammates to lock unsuspecting students in the room for a few hours. "Oh crap." Why couldn't he have remembered that before telling Okazaki to close that damn door? Youhei brought his unoccupied hand to his face with a sigh, chiding himself for the sheer stupidity of the action he had commited not too long ago.
The pain had lessened by a great deal now; his mind preoccupied with the fact that he, along with Okazaki and Tomoyo, were now locked in the teacher's lounge. He had enough strength to get up on his feet, an action that was easily done by the student. "I had the idea of defeating you with a surprise attack," He started, answering his junior's question as he started a slow walk toward the door. "You know the outcome." He stopped a little over a meter away from the sliding item that separated them from the outside world with a smirk. At this time the staff had probably gone home after a hard day of work, so he knew what he had to do. Not that he cared whether or not he was caught in the act. He prepared himself for a run.
"I know of a better way to get out other than that weak knocking you were planning to do." Youhei wasn't really one to care about the consequences of his actions. He had nothing to gain, nothing to lose, and the thought of a mere suspension wasn't enough to make him bristle. "Move aside!" Those words clearly announced his intent to kick that damn door down for good in a single strike. The delinquent made a charge toward the door, fully ready to attack the entrance. With a strident cry, his foot struck the door with all its might once. Twice. The door wasn't down for the count, still resisting the blonde's two powerful kicks. "The next's one is the one!" Thus, Sunohara went for that third and - what he hoped - last kick.

Perhaps it hadn't clicked in his head just how hopeless the situation was. Perhaps he wasn't aware of the consequences that followed failing to escape. He didn't want to be stuck in that room just as much, if not more so, then Tomoyo, but he wasn't about to futilely start banging on the door calling out for a stranger that would likely never come. First of all, it was long after school hours, it was very unlikely anybody would be strolling around on the third floor of the old building. Second, he didn't want a teacher to find him: two delinquents in the teachers lounge together. It could only cause trouble. Due to Sunohara's lack of tact when it came to the art of deceit - once they had found out what the two, or in this case (as in most cases) Sunohara, had concocted, they would be likely be suspended. While Tomoya was the last person to care about his academic integrity, even he had the basic urge to remain a student. Third, and certainly not least, he was too lazy - surely there was a less...noisy and bothersome way of getting out?
Fortunately for him, the corpse of his companion...friend...acquaintance? Re-animated himself and answered before he had the opportunity too, wildly boasting of his great strength while charging at the door. It wasn't the first time Sunohara had failed to deliver, and he was sure it wouldn't be the last. By the second attempt he knew it was futile - the door was surprisingly solid. He should have been tipped off when the door had been as heavy as it was while he pulled it shut, but the thought only now seemed to dawn on him. The combination of the belated thought, combined with Sunohara's wild ape calls as he attempted a breakthrough, pushed even further by him being the cause of this entire situation left an annoying buzz in his mind - a buzz that could only be relieved by sticking his food in front of Sunohara's trajectory. It was, without fail, a grand success.
Unfortunately, it did little to relieve him of his stress that had started to build from the start of this whole mess. There weren't many options. Break the window and risk a three foot jump, or break the door down and escape without a sound. Both options seemed improbable and unlikely to occur...simply because neither he or Sunohara had that kind of power. He turned to the only one left who could save them all. Sakagami Tomoyo. He knew of the rumors, and judging by the beating Sunohara had just received, he was almost certain they were true. If anyone could do it, it was her...but then there was that other matter. Student Council President. He hadn't brought it up because of the awkward situation it placed him in, but if she were to break something in the room and was later caught for the act...no matter what the circumstances were...it would definitely hurt her chances.
"You're the only one that can get us out of here. Save from that, we're stuck here...for the whole night."

Sakagami Tomoyo ______________________________________________________
Tomoyo looked over her shoulder upon hearing a certain blond’s voice. He was fine after all, but perhaps he was too fine. Apparently, he only had two modes: downed, and annoying. Did he want to help, or was he just going to talk? She didn’t need him telling her about his failed plan to launch a surprise attack on her. Clearly, it hadn’t worked. At this point, she was losing the little patience she had left, with several factors contributing to her vexation.
Firstly, there was the entire situation of being locked inside the teacher’s lounge. Secondly, there was Sunohara, which was a huge bother in itself. It was somehow a miracle that Tomoyo wasn’t completely pissed off at this point. But when Sunohara yelled out the order for both her and Okazaki to move to the side, she let him by, despite it all. She was curious to see what he thought could get them out, and at this point, she was willing to try almost anything (that wasn’t illegal).
And his magnificent idea was charging at the door like some crazed bull in an attempt to knock it down with a kick. Of course he wouldn’t be able to break it down with his strength. Watching Sunohara’s futile efforts and hearing his battle cries over and over again could be extremely draining on one’s sanity... Thankfully, Okazaki had decided to deal with Sunohara first by tripping him. Otherwise, Sunohara would have likely ended up inside of a wall.
It was at least an amusing distraction. Tomoyo was not a girl who typically savored schadenfreude, but knowing that Sunohara wasn't a person who could be injured helped make the situation funnier. She grinned watching them, even though humor wasn't something that would normally come with realizing you're trapped inside a room with a pair of idiots. The fact that Okazaki and he were such buddies made it look like a comedy from an outsider's perspective.
If all the noise Sunohara had been making didn’t catch anyone’s attention, then Okazaki was unmistaken. Although he hadn’t said it directly, Tomoyo understood what he meant. She would have to make an exit for them using her own strength. She wanted to avoid vandalizing the school, but the other alternative was to be stuck in school for the entire night with Okazaki and Sunohara. Would breaking down the door or window be justified in this case? The more she thought about it, the more Tomoyo realized she couldn’t bring herself to commit such an act.
To answer him, Tomoyo turned her back on them, signaling her own resignation for the time being. She would wait, and if the situation turned out to be more miserable than expected, she would reconsider her choices.
For now, she asked the both of them, “Will your families be worried about you two? If we can’t go home today.”
As for herself, she knew her parents would worry. They always worried; they had worried for her even during her times of being a no-good-delinquent, and she was sure they would worry now, if not more than before. Parents were like that, weren't they? They were always concerned for their children, no matter the relationship between them. [/blockquote]
