Character Swap!
Characters on the Open List can be played by anyone. Characters on this list are not reserved. For example, if someone begins roleplaying a character on the open list, any other member can jump in and also play as that character. The point of the Open List is to allow everyone to roleplay any characters already taken in the regular roleplay.
Characters on the Closed List are played upon an agreement between two members. This list is for people who have made an agreement with another member to allow only that person to roleplay their character here. The person listing their character on the Closed List must also give the name of the player who will roleplay that character. The point of the Closed List is for people who might be pickier about who uses their character.
Rules and Privileges
- It is not required that you list your own character in order to participate.
- You may list your own character without being required to participate.
- You can remove your character from either list at any point in time.
- "Character Swap" is limited to this thread.
- Whatever happens in this thread is not roleplay canon.
- There is no set plot for this thread. Feel free to plan with other members.
- This thread is just for fun. :] The official roleplay should be your primary focus.

Putting Mizukami Ayumu and Fujibayashi Ryou on the Open List, and getting ready to laugh in watching people be out-of-character with them. *ducks* Or enjoy watching people being in-character with them. Whichever. XD Some people might make a better Ryou than me. My talking with Saska has made me aware of the fact that sometimes I'm not as Ryou-ish as I can be.

ooc; Okay, I'm going to try posting as Iryna. Don't kill me for messing her up. xD I don't know what she thinks of Ayumu. Does she consider him her "servant", or does she get nervous thinking about him? I've seen both, sooo I went with the latter. Oh well... this is why you play Iryna and not me. Haha~ Iryna grinned cheerfully at her reflection in the restroom mirror and ran her delicate fingers through her fine rose-colored locks. The new hair conditioner her mother bought her the other day was working miracles.
As the saying goes, “You get what you paid for.”
Ever since last week’s disaster, she had made a mental note to herself to never again try out the cheap stuff her friends recommended to her.
After several seconds of untangling the few knots in her pigtails, Iryna let out a light, satisfied “Hmph,” and stepped back, still smiling and happy about what she’d seen in the mirror. She was about to turn around and return to class (it was still lunch time, so there was plenty of time left), but suddenly it felt like there was super glue under her shoes.
She wondered...
What kind of girl does Spiky White like?
Iryna stared blankly at her reflection. Her gaze traveled up, then down... then up again, tracing the contours of her own body.
And then, as if reason was breathed back into her and the super glue scraped off the bottoms of her shoes, she scowled irritably and hurriedly strode out of the restroom. Who cared what he thought? Besides, she liked to think she had a lot of charm in her own way. Not every girl could be as gifted as her. Iryna did a small twirl, checking herself out from all angles. She knew she was a cute girl. She didn’t need to be like those fake, voluptuous girls to bewitch the men around her. She was small and petite! That was all she really needed... right?
Moreover, it wasn’t like she cared what kind of girl Spiky White liked!
Or was she lying to herself...?
Her troubling thoughts ended there and she let out a high-pitched cry. All of a sudden, she found herself flat on her rump, glaring up at the person who had been so careless as to bump into her (or rather, who had been so careless as to have walked right by the bathroom when she stormed out).

OC: Lemme try this. Likewise, Celmoyo, please don't kill me. As Sakagami Tomoyo... though it seems I haven't really done anything markedly Tomoyo-ish in this post... "Are you all right?"
Perhaps she had been rather preoccupied; it was, after all, election week, and although she looked as stately and calm as always, the presidential candidate did have her set of nerves. She would have normally been able to prevent such a collision, or at the very least salvage its consequences. After all, being a leader meant taking care of those under one's dominion, right? Not that she was officially one yet... and she had mostly volunteered her services because there was something she wanted to protect... precious memories, both existing and unborn.
Anyway, the collision. She had only the benefit of a passing glimpse as she was jolted from her reverie, but now she had the benefit of examining her. She was small; she had thought the other girl was a first year until she had seen the color of the emblem on her pocket; it appeared that she was the same year level as she was, if not of the same age. She had long, pink, silky hair, tied in two tails, and her face made her look even younger; perhaps she would not have thought she was a high school student if she had seen her in different clothes. She looks delicate... feminine. She would be lying if she denied feeling a bit conscious...
In any case, she decided, it was not fruitful to dwell on those feelings. The current condition of the girl was more important. Their encounter, it seemed, had made her land in a rather ungraceful way. She hoped she wasn't hurt much. "I'm sorry for bumping into you." she apologized, in her sincere, even tone. She offered a hand to help her fellow sophomore up. Had she seen her somewhere before? They were supposed to be both second-years, right?

Misae-san can be added to the list. XD I want to see how others might write her, so maybe I can pick their brains understand her character more.

ooc; I'm giving Densetsu Karu for a whirl, I remember Legend talking about some changes he might be implementing for him and/or making a new character entirely so this is one outcome I think would be interesting. This was mostly me just having some fun and posing some ideas for Legend, hope it helps man.
Flat. One-Dimensional. Boring. Stale. It didn't matter how many synonyms he used to describe the crowd around him, the truth never changed - not a single one seemed real to him. Despite his outlook he surprisingly had acquaintances; acquaintances he would talk to, smile at, laugh with, and support wholeheartedly - all while secretly loathing their mere existence. The illusion was an unfortunate reality of the world, as to survive one had no choice but to rely on others, but that didn't make it any easier to live with. While it was unfair to stereotype the whole school based on a few individuals, it was nearly impossible to deny the shocking trend he had had the misfortune of witnessing.
Everyone simply bored him. It was as if every character he had seen on television had been reduced down to their most basic idea of conception and jammed into each and every one of his "friends". He saw one now, the female dog who approached with a, as expected, scowl on her face, likely worrying about something or, more likely, someone. She had been one of the few he had taken an interest in, one of the few he could glean any bit of originality from...to his horror, however, she had been the most bare-boned out of them all. The worst part? It was too late to escape, and backing out would only defy conventional logic and tarnish his status. He would never do that. He simply couldn't afford to.
He was homesick. Every minute of everyday was spent reminiscing about the days he had spent across the Atlantic. He had been young, naive, and had witnessed far worse in the form of "boring" people...but at the same time, he had learned. He had learned so much! He had experienced emotions, conflicts, and ideas that had kept him up for days! His sister had inspired him to live his life to the fullest! Every moment with her felt like a moment in heaven...moments that had been stolen away from him...
As he smiled and waved at her with his right hand, his left balled up in a fist of fury. The conflict would go on.

OC post. Slightly scary concept of a different Karu there. It sounds like Tomoya a bit, before his character development, too, but I guess Tomoya's a lot less sinister. Celmoyo said I shouldn't make the character think too much if that isn't their character... it's harder than it sounds. X.X And it sounds hard already. Perhaps because I think too much. There, Syd, a part of my brain to pick apart. *urges other people to reply*

ooc; While I'm content with how this turned out, I can't say I'm all together satisfied with the fact that, despite how hard I tried, I couldn't break away from the habits I have developed over the years that I have ultimately come to call my own. Style is as unique to a person's writing as there fingerprint is, changing it can be just as hard.
Drama was in her blood, whether she knew it or not, and while she had doubts that her daily ritual could be deemed acting, it had an appeal to it all the same. She had been delayed today; aa a result it was darker now then it usually was, but it didn't bother her in the least. Out here, where her audience lay in the thousands of shimmering stars, she felt at peace. The words danced around in the forefront of her memory as she prepared to deliver them to the world...but then she paused. There was somebody up ahead...Ah, it was Okazaki-san! Rather then greeting him traditionally, perhaps she should show him? With an elated smile she began her act, recalling the beautiful words one by one, spinning them together to form an image unlike any other.
"If you wish..."
Though entirely ignorant to the technical workings of drama and acting, she had practiced the same lines everyday for hours at a time, speaking to no one else but her heart. The words were easy, the pauses simple - she was completely in her element.
"Shall I..."
She extended a hand towards him, stopping just from offering one. She loved it - the words, the emotions, the whole idea of working hard together to produce something beautiful that no individual could possibly achieve, to see it through from start to end...all while experiencing the fun and happy memories that came along with it.
"Shall I accompany you?"
She closed her eyes, clasping her hands together, becoming lost in the winter wonderland she had started to produce with her words. There were plenty of dramas out there - but this one struck a deep chord in her, so much so that she never grew tired of losing herself in its beauty. She was talking to Okazaki-san...or was she? His form looked nothing like she could remember...yet she knew the hand she was offering was for none other then the boy she had met earlier that day.
"To a place in this city where wishes come true?" [/blockquote]

OoC; taking a risk here with a canon, considering I haven't known Clannad for all that long... ah well, here goes nothing. Critique is very welcome. More people. There was always more people. It was good; it meant more people at the wedding. Wasn't there that saying, 'the more the merrier?' Anyhow, Fuko would not give up, no matter how many carvings she had to make. With every new starfish that she made, the world got a little cuter. One day the entire school would be full of cute starfish, everywhere...
She had nearly gone into one of her daydreams, but at the thought of Okazaki standing behind her by only several feet, she snapped to attention. To be safe, the girl glanced behind her. Thankfully, Okazaki was still standing against the wall with Nagisa beside him. They were a cute couple.
Ah, she had to start giving away the carvings! She had wasted enough time already. Gently removing one of the wooden carvings from her bag, Fuko began to hand it to a fellow student. He crossed over to her, a grin on his face, and... proceeded in walking right past her. Hm, maybe she needed to have announced herself.
Spying a pair of students conversing with one another, Fuko steered herself in their direction. "Excuse me," she said, offering the carving once again. Neither of the students acknowledged her. The girl resisted looking back at Okazaki and Nagisa... no, this was her battle! Maybe she had already invited all the polite students, so there were only the weird ones left? The must be it, she decided. Unable to give in, Fuko continued dispensing the invitations. She had to get these to everyone in school; it was for her sister! Triamphantly, Fuko headed into the crowd with her bag of starfish carvings.
