Okay, thanks to Celena and Akio-san for some help putting this together. Welcome to Dango Daikazoku’s first DRABBLE CHALLENGE. Okay guys… so you all know what flashfiction is, correct? Although the definitions vary, there are three layers of short fiction; Short stories at fewer than one thousand words, flashfiction at under five hundred, and drabbles at fewer than one hundred. Well, for the purposes of simplicity, we’re just going to call them drabbles. Okay. So we got that down.
This is how the game works: the first person to post(i. e. me) will post a prompt containing either two Clannad characters, two site characters, two names for people to use as OC(non-site) characters or a combination thereof and a word or phrase. Example: Word: Laugh Characters: Furukawa Akio and Furukawa Nagisa
Now, after the prompt is posted, someone will respond by the prompt and then post their own.
Rules now, before I get around to posting the first prompt: ~~~Drabbles must be under 700 words. ~~~The prompt characters must at least make one appearance, or be mentioned in passing. ~~~The prompt word/phrase(or related word such as Jump to Jumped) must be included in either the piece at least once, or be included in the piece’s optional title ~~~You must have fun. Got it?
Alrighty here we go~ Word: Drifter Characters: Kanna and Furukawa Akio

She stood just a little bit to the right of the glass door, hidden. It was a bakery, a small one, and she had a hard time finding the place. Perhaps because it was... not what she had wanted to see. She started as a noise came from inside.
“So my bread is… my bread is…!”
It was a woman’s voice, and then it exclaimed even louder, but the words were drowned out by another voice, a man’s. She backed off just in time, as the door slid open, and what seemed like only a young woman scurried out crying, her hands on her face, followed, chased, by a man.
"Sanaaaae!"
A man that was most familiar to her. Furukawa Akio.
They sprinted off at the opposite direction, to her luck. She wouldn’t… have known what to say to him; it had been so long. They had gone their separate ways since… middle school, was it? He had only gone farther and farther, gotten married… it may just be his daughter who had been running out.
Of all the things, baking… It didn’t seem like the Akio-senpai that she knew, he who was always boisterous and starting something… now merely… waiting for bread to rise. She remembered how he would bother her, calling her Kanna and not by her surname, forcing her to call him Akio and not Furukawa-senpai, dragging her someplace to watch a play… or even join in one, getting caught with him escaping school...
Then again, she mused, the Akio-senpai she knew was… gone, so long ago. She wondered why she had come here why she had even bothered finding this place; so many things had been left unsaid, but they had already been buried by so much time…
She gazed upon his trotting back, as he seemed to helplessly call to the crying girl. He seemed to still be the same boy... and yet he had changed. She had changed.
She… perhaps she would find a time when she could face him, again. He seemed… to be at home, even if his home did not seem to be where one should have found him… and I… have yet to find a place to call home.
The drifter named Kanna turned away, having said not a word. Next~ Word: Lunch Characters: Botan and Miyazawa Yukine

It was another quiet, serene day in the school's reference room. It was never really lonely, though. Occasionally, other students would pop in asking for favors, and Miyazawa Yukine was always happy to help them.
Today seemed to be much quieter than usual, though. The aromatic scent of warm food floated around in the room while Yukine operated the gas stove. She always made more food than she needed. Visitors who came in were often hungry. Without a doubt, Yukine was well-known for her hospitality.
On the wall was a clock, with its minute hand pointed at the 9 and the hour hand at the 11. The time was about 11:47, lunch time.
Yukine drifted toward the window and looked out onto the school grounds outside while she waited for the food to fully cook. There, near the bushes, was something round, small, and brown. What was it? It looked like a baby animal. It was cute from what she could see. There was something... off about the scene, though. It looked lonely down there. The second-year student felt a little sorry for it.
Alone at lunch time... perhaps she could go down and see if it was alright.
---
So there she was, down in the courtyard, with a piece of steamed cabbage in her hand. Yukine knelt on the ground, holding the food out for the little baby boar who sniffed at it, nibbled it, and then quickly snarfed it down. It was an adorable sight.
Even though her guest today was an animal, this seemed no different from the usual routine. Yukine wished she could have known what the cute creature was waiting there for, but alas, animals couldn't talk. Regardless, Yukine made a wish that it would realize whatever it was waiting there for. For now, a bit of lunch for the cute thing was all she could ensure.

Okazaki Tomoya was bored.
It was breaktime; the people were either out of the classroom, or clumped in packs gossiping or doing whatever they pleased. Fujibayashi Ryou was busy with paperwork, Kyou had something to do, Nagisa was absent... following that vein of thought, he was left with his original source of entertainment.
He looked over to the desk beside him; his seatmate, Sunohara Youhei, seemed equally bored, too. He divined that Sunohara wouldn't mind being anything else than bored, right now.
"Sunohara. I'm bored. Aren't you?"
"Hn? Yeah." responded the blonde. It seemed he didn't haveanything to be enthusiastic with today, either; so it looked like Okazaki would have to come up with something.
"I've got something for you to do. So that we won't be bored."
"What?"
"Pretend you're dying from a stroke."
Silence reigned for a handful of seconds, before Sunohara fiercely objected.
"Why would I do that?" Indeed, it seemed, Tomoya hadn't even been disguising his attempts to make fun of him this time... was he that bored that his prankster circuits were not functioning well?
"Well, you see, Sunohara..." started Okazaki. There was no harm in trying, even if this little trick wouldn't work. "The class rep actually likes you." He said, gesturing to Ryou, who was a few desks away, busy writing. "But you know how she is... she wouldn't tell you that."
"Really?"
"Well, you notice how she's always flustered around you?" Well, she's always flustered around everybody... thought Tomoya.
"Hmm..." said Sunohara, and that idiotic, confident smile of his started to draw itself across his face.
"She won't tell you until you... unless you pretend to be dying."
"Ohhh...." The buffoon said. He was agreeing... agreeing...
A few minutes later, with Sunohara thrashing on the ground, Fujibayashi Ryou a little confused and asking help from people about bringing Sunohara to the nurse's office, Okazaki Tomoya was still bored. It wasn't enough of a spectacle... he could do much better. It lacked the master stroke...
And Kyou would probably throw something on his face later. That too.
