Ibuki Fuko ___________________________________________________________________________ Fuko smiled when this boy promised to attend the wedding. This was all starting to go so very well for her. So far everybody she had asked had been willing to join in the wedding. Apparently the power of the starfish was a strong force indeed. Nobody could resist it’s strength and appeal. It was a good thing that she had decided to use them as her bargaining chip in getting people to come. Soon everybody would be jumping at the chance to get one, and her sister’s wedding would be absolutely perfect…whenever a date was set.
”Thank you very much for agreeing to attend Fuko’s sister’s wedding.” she replied, giving the boy two thumbs up. She was just in that kind of mood…till she remembered that the big bear right beside her had stolen her starfish.
Fuko started to grab some of the starfish from her, so that at least some of them would be saved. Or at least that was what she had wanted to do, but by the time she had turned around to do so the girl was gone again. Fuko rapidly search the area with her eyes, eventually spotting the giant bear suit. Giving a small growl of frustration, she started to march the girl’s direction. She had absolutely forgotten the boy’s presence, or to give him the name of her sister or any other information. Fuko was just that focused on getting her starfish back from the bear.
When Fuko arrived, she was handing out the starfish to another person. Upset that the girl was doing all the work, Fuko got in between the boy and Asahi and grabbed a hold of the starfish. It was rude, but in Fuko’s own logic it was acceptable. The girl had taken her starfish, therefore Fuko had the right to take them back. She then turned around and presented the starfish to the boy, who seemed a bit quiet and wanted to know what the cause was.
”I’m giving away these starfishes in hope that people would fall in love with their absolute cuteness and agree to congratulate my sister on her wedding day.”
Fuko looked up to the boy (why was everybody so tall compared to Fuko?) expecting a reply. She hoped that he would say yes and keep up this train of acceptances. Somebody saying no would be a rather abrupt setback, and she didn’t know how to deal with it. Then again, you’d have to be crazy to resist such a wonderful gift like starfish. perky. Just before Ayumu had the chance to accept the carving, the small girl snatched it from the bear's paw. Up close, she wasn't that small... as our meandering sophomore had thought earlier... but indeed, she was still smaller than the already somewhat small Ayumu. She came in what seemed to be one bound, fast like a pretty upset squirrel. He wondered what the fuss was about. Wouldn't it be more productive for the two of them to be spreading the... starfishes, if that was their goal? Besides, she left the senior all by himself. Wasn't that a little... rude?
Quirky. The girl was quirky. Perky too.
With the freshman's approach, it seemed she had taken it out of the bear's hands... paws... to do the explaining to him. He wondered how that little brain must work, even as she addressed him. She was hoping that people would fall in love... with the cuteness... of these? Were these really starfishes? Woo. For what? Her sister's wedding day? Well, the act of her giving out the starfishes would be remembered enough, even if Ayumu didn't think the starfishes... are... that... cute.
"Hm...okay." he said.
He finally got to touch the roughly made surface of the carving. He had been accepting it a while ago... and now he was accepting it again. Once it got into his hands, he clenched on it. Perhaps he subconsciously thought the freshman was going to snatch it again. He hoped she would get lots of wellwishers... even if her methods were a little... off. Well... what was that... something about the thought counting. Seriously, the girl was throwing him a little mentally off balance.
"What's your sister's name?" It hadn't made any significant changes in his composure, however. Well, okay, to be honest, he was looking very mildly bewildered. Very mildly...

"Ah..." Hina made a small, cut off noise as the starfish was snatched from her hands. At first she thought it was a little kid running by grabbing things randomly, due to her narrow vision caused by the mascot mask, but then she looked to the side and down a little and saw it was Fuko. Hina tilted her head a little, slightly confused by the girl's actions. Then she thought of a little child that demands that their parent let them do everything by themself. 'I can do it! Let me do it! Don't help me!'... A soft and understanding smile came to the girl's lips.
So that was it. Fuko was just having the feelings of a small child. Hina could definitely overlook that. She got the irresistible urge to pat Fuko on the head again.
"Ah, thank you Fuko-chan. You're much better at explaining it than I am," Hina said, using this praise as an excuse for the head-pat. Then she heard Ayumu's question and her hand paused.
"That's right... actually I don't know your sister's name either..."
(OOC: Hehe... it's funny how Hina keeps accidentally rubbing Fuko the wrong way. At this rate Fuko might end up liking Hina less than Okazaki)

Ibuki Fuko ___________________________________________________________________________ Secure in her victory over this thief, Fuko had her arms crossed in front of her and was beaming rather brightly. It didn’t even matter that the boy didn’t seem to be too enthusiastic about the gift. Sometimes the starfish had to work a bit to spread its powers. Eventually, however, he will succumb to it and it’s orange, star-shaped and smiley-faced cuteness. No one else so far had resisted, so she doubted this kid would be able to as well. Still, he had said yes, and deep that was all that mattered. It just meant one more addition to the growing throng of students who would be joining her sister’s wedding crowd. Oh she was going to be so happy to see all these students sitting their wishing her well. The only way it could be better was if the wedding was on the beach with a starfish cake….
Fuko was stopped from spacing out by the actions of Hina. The girl congratulated her for explaining the purpose of the starfish, followed by patting her on the head again. Fuko gave off her best evil growl, but coming from her it wasn’t that evil sounding. Still, she hoped to get her point across that she simply did not like having people pat her on the head…especially evil starfish-nappers. The question that Hina and the boy asked, however, was a valid one. Fuko couldn’t believe she had forgotten to mention that important part.
”Oh, yes, her name. Uhm, Fuko’s sister’s name is Ibuko Kouko. She used to be an art teacher at this school, and I thought she would love having all the student’s attend the wedding…whenever it happens. She doesn’t have a set date yet for some odd reason…”
With that information taken care of, and another added to the wedding throng, it was finally time for her to confront Hina on the starfish-napping. It had taken awhile, but Fuko finally had the chance, and she was going to take it. Turning around to face Hina, she pointed a finger right in her face and tried to put on her meanest face possible. It even had the angry eyebrows and everything! Unknown to Fuko, however, it probably wouldn’t work on Hina, who had so far seemed to interpret everything Fuko did as some sort of cute, childish act.
”Though I doubt she would be glad to hear someone has been taking Fuko’s starfish right under nose, and after your promised to help too.” [/size] ___________________________________________________________________________

thinking... The carving was a little too large to grasp with one hand, so he used his two hands to keep it secure. He silently examined it; it definitely had the right starshape, although besides that, it didn't have any other features. The scratches all about it seemed to be aftermath of trying to get the carving into the correct size. It also seemed a little too large to put in his bag, which was right now in his classroom. He could simply carry it home... and then put it somewhere in his bedroom where his little sister couldn't reach it.
He nodded when the little girl mentioned that her sister was Ibuki Kouko. He had heard the name before, from Furukawa-senpai and the other senpais that he knew. He didn't know her that much; it seemed Furukawa-senpai's batch was the last one to benefit from her teaching. He recalled how fond the students were of her, although he wasn't completely sure of that, since all opinions he had managed to collect were from female senpais. As far as he knew, only Furukawa-senpai remained of her batch, here in the school. That meant... there weren't many people who would know of Ibuki Kouko-sensei. Was Ibuki-imouto right in her efforts? Although somewhat flawed in certain logical aspects, her invitations were sincere. He fought the urge to check her hand if it had bandages about it.
Ibuki-imouto was interesting. Well, definitely not in the same way that he was interested in Furukawa-senpai, but there was something odd about her. Okay, she was already very eccentric; not even the most childish of freshmen here in school would bounce as much as she. Also, there was her slightly naive way of thinking; that people would come to a stranger's wedding solely from the disputable cuteness of a frayed artwork... still, he hoped she would succeed in what she was doing. Besides all the strange things about her, he had this strange feeling... that there was something off. That... Ibuki-imouto couldn't possibly be in front of him. That was why... there should be people in her sister's wedding.
He shook the ephemeral feeling off, knowing it might come back. On the other hand, maybe it was just one of his randomly stupid hunches again. He should try to find out more about Ibuki-imouto and Ibuki-nee in his spare time. Maybe he could find out more about it if he actually found Furukawa-senpai. Coming back to reality, he noticed that the girl's attention was now focused on Kuma-san. She seemed to be chastising Kuma-san for going off with her starfishes. Wasn't the bear helping her? Well, he had asked that question before, in his head, when the girl first jumped out in front of him. It was a little funny how she tried to make her face look mean. Ayumu smiled a bit.
"Oh... I think the starfishes trust her enough."

((A bit on the short side but bleh its the arm))
Interesting enough Takashi had dozed off after he gave his speech. No-one really noticed because the person in the bear suit had run off to talk to someone else. When Takashi woke back up from his day dream he looked to see that the person in the bear suit had gone off to give the starfish to someone else. It was odd but Takashi decided that since he wasn't doing anything at the moment that he would be able to at least help give the starfish out since it was for a good cause and all. Considering how popular he was with most of the people who actually pay attention to the sports in the school, He could easily hand out a dozen or more starfish if the young girl and bear hadn't already got his peeps first. But then again those guys most of been long gone chasing after a group of girls or something like they always did. Except Takashi..he was still looking for Ms.Right or at least someone who could push him over his limits. But keeping away from that thought Takashi went over towards were the others were. "Well if you need any help then i could surely lend and hand considering that the Basketball team isn't doing much right now." Takashi said grinning.
