"Anou..."
I have told him what my cards have said... I wonder if the part about the books were about oneechan's throwing... but I have not really given him my opinion.
Otomo-san liked his sister, that much she was certain, and while his good conduct had been marred by this incident, she decided she could put it off as a result of bad judgment. She could only picture his cousin egging him on.
Alternatives, huh? Haru-kun had confessed to me, and if Oneechan had come along on this trip, Otomo-san would've done the same for her. I think I might be understanding what Grandma means when she mumbles about 'youth'...
Otomo-san was a nice person, all in all, still, but who her sister fancies... was up to her. She can't give much advice in the part of her sister, because of that, and so she had settled for a gentle warning... and an unspoken wish of good luck.
"...Otomo-san? Whatever you're going to do..." she wondered if her little session might have urged him to do... crazier things... she hoped not... "...do it with the other person in mind."
She smiled nervously. He seemed to have regained his confidence, although she was not sure if that was completely good. Well, she had discovered a different side to one of her classmates...
"It's getting late, and you might get caught..." she said afterward, implying that perhaps he should leave. She began picking up the three cards she had placed on the floor.
"Good evening." were her final words, and she meant them, even if this visit had began on a rather troubling note. She waited for Otomo to stand up, so that she could stand up and close the door after him.
She still had things to think about, by herself... things that came to her head because of this surprise visit...

"Crazy? Oh, no, nothing like that Fujibayashi-san." Koji reassured , hoping the girl before him would not be distressed by his sudden burst of zeal. Koji was dealing with a new method of perception. Instead of trying to peer through a spyglass with such meticulosity, it felt almost like he was taking an emboldened step back and looking at everything at a glance. It was liberating for someone who over-analyzed everything to stop and not let the gears turn frantically about in his head.
"It's getting late, and you might get caught..."
Koji felt fear for the second time tonight. Realizing the consequences of his discovery, he would be subject to dual punishment. Firstly for being out of his room after lights out, and secondly, for snooping around the girl's rooms. Regardless of what was he washed it, even if the skills of the greatest motivation speaker were bestowed unto him, he would be unable to explain why he was snooping around the girl's rooms.
"Shimatta! You're exactly right. I've gotta hurry..."
Koji briefly searched for any of his belongings, even frisking himself. Upon realizing all he had brought with him to Ryou's room was himself, he immediately ceased, turned, and headed for the door. With quick, lethargic bow in Ryou's direction he stepped out, only to turn his head back one final time.
"I'm sorry again for the trouble. Thanks for your hospitality... And the fortune. I guess I'll see you in class Fujibayashi-san." Koji hurriedly announced before speedily blending in with the murky depths of this sea of shadows again. The audible sound of a stubbed toe, and a hushed cry of pain bounced back into the room he'd just left.
Tomorrow would be a new day, and as far as he was concerned, Otomo Koji's future looked brighter than before.
