Description:
Tomoya has a matching set of azure eyes and hair to compliment his uniform, which has a blue badge to signify the fact that he is a senior. When in school he always wears his uniform, which although ironic due to the fact that he is a delinquent, makes sense as he would most likely be kicked out of class entirely if he wore something else. The uniform proper consists of a formal white shirt with tie, his badge, and a cream vest, as well as dress pants to complete the ensemble. His casual attire contains the standard T-Shirt and blue Jeans, with the T-Shirt having a variety of standard but simple designs.
Physically he his as fit as any other student his age would be, with the exception of his arm, which he can't raise above neck level. He his very skillful when it comes to playing basketball - dribbling the ball, passing, juking, but again, obviously, he can't shoot it. Baseball isn't too much of a problem - he only lacks in power when throwing the ball or swinging the bat. All in all, it is very easy for him to hide his handicap, and for the most part he can live a normal routine.
Personality:
Tomoya is the definition of a delinquent. He's lazy, nonchalant, and to most people, generally unpleasing to be around. Though he's not a bad person at heart, his disposition often causes others to steer clear of him. When provoked he will be the first to rise to the occasion, but due to his general laziness he's much more often simply lounging around. Because of his history, and the fact that he only turned delinquent from Middle School to High School, his character is still relatively pure, however his behavior is that of a delinquent. Though it doesn't seem like him, he often helps those who are close to them, though it is often unclear whether it is for his own entertainment, or whether he generally cares about the person he is helping. This question is compounded by the amount of free time he has, which gives him a lot of time to kill. All the time in the world in fact.
Due to his lack of distractions, most of this time is spent with fellow delinquent and friend Sunohara Youhei. Though he seems to treat him as anything but, Sunohara gives him a chance to escape the situation within his own home. Rather then converse and laugh around like normal friends would, he chooses instead to act at the expense of him and quietly laugh to himself. On numerous occasions he has caused injury to him by a mere whim and plays pranks on him on a daily basis. Whether Sunohara is really as dumb as he seems is unknown, but with seemingly no effort at all, Tomoya is able to fool him into doing almost anything.
Occasionally he is approached by the Fujibayashi Twins, namely Kyou, but more frequently now, Ryou, due to them being in the same class now. Though the two are twins, his reactions to the two of them couldn't be farther apart. Ryou is very shy and timid, and only ever approaches him when she is trying to lecture him about his delinquent ways. He doesn't know her very well, so calls her by her last name. Kyou on the other hand, talks to him unabashedly, instead choosing to joke about his delinquent nature and somehow manages to throw in a disturbing threat, all with a bright smile to boot. He tried to avoid her when possible. With that being said, at the very least, he respected her ability to talk to someone with his title and not care what others said about it. That, combined with her casual air of conversation, naturally let to him calling her by her first name.
In fact, it could be argued that everything he does helps him in distracting himself from his own situation, as life becomes much simpler trying to fix someone else's problem rather then one's own. Though it's unclear who he cares about and what he is doing with his life, even to himself, he still gets by everyday in generally good spirits.
So what does a delinquent do from day to day? Coincidentally his school was one of high caliber, which meant most of the students had grades to worry about before their own social life. The students who were serious had to attend class, focus on the lectures, go to club activities later, and then after-wards, finish their homework and study for any upcoming exams. Tomoya, on the other hand, rebels against this routine entirely - he attends class, but sleeps during them, he seems like he's listening to the lectures, but if not already asleep, he's already staring out the window, or pre-occupying himself with thoughts of an entirely different subject.
Clubs are an entirely different story. He hates clubs. This was not always true of course, but due to certain events in his past, clubs are now meaningless to him. It's very possible that, due to the sheer number of clubs that exist, he could find one he was interested in, but because of said event, the mere thought of a club brings back memories he would rather forget.
He had given up on college the moment he had settled on the title of delinquent. Though, to be more accurate, he never really thought about the future. If he had, it would only further darken his world, as there really was nothing going for him. Beneath all the antics, he truly felt lonely. He has forgotten what it mean's to have a "family", and because of this lives his entire life with distractions. If he distracts himself with the events happening around him, he won't need to dwell on his loneliness. His entire life has become a distraction. Waking up everyday, going to school, wasting away his time in one manner or other. He doesn't live. He simply exists. He can't help but ask himself the same, tired old question, day by day - Will something eventually change? Will that day come?
History:
When he was just a child, Tomoya had a simple, but peaceful life. Unfortunately everything simply went downhill from there when his mother, Atsuko, died in a car accident, and ever since Tomoya has been living with his father, Naoyuki. Though they were once close, he now wants nothing to do with him, often staying up until very late into the night so as to avoid having to even talk to him when he comes back home.
He befriended Ichinose Kotomi when he was very young. Kotomi was an interesting case. He had initially met her by mere chance, and at first hesitant to get to know her at all. In fact, the sweet melody of her violin had been the only thing that had caused him to stay long enough to be invited in by her mother. Kotomi wasn't like the other girls at his school - she was incredibly smart, but also shy, and didn't seem to want to leave her humble abode. This is why he always visited her, and this is ultimately how he had become friends with her. Unfortunately, this friendship wasn't meant to last, as one day, after failing to attend her birthday party, he was met with a scene of fire. She was crying. The house was on fire, and there was nothing he could do about it. Eventually a group of men came to douse the fire, but his friend didn't seem to notice what was happening. After that, he stopped visiting her, and eventually, completely forgot about her.
Tomoya was able to get into his high school through a basketball scholarship and had had plans to be a starter in the basketball club, but due to a fight he had with his father at the time, he was left permanently injured, unable to lift his shooting arm any higher then his shoulder, which prevented him from playing basketball anymore; since then, their relationship has been very distant. In Tomoya's eyes their distance is caused by his father's refusal to refer to him as a father would, as he instead adds "-kun" to the end of his name, a phrase that friends would use to talk to each other rather then a father would his only son.
Shortly after becoming a delinquent, he met a new friend who he would carry with him until Senior year - Youhei Sunohara, and through him, has found a way to waste away his time without having to deal with his father or school work.
In his junior year he met Fujibayashi Kyou, a fierce girl with a quick tongue, and one of the only girls who ever dared approach him. His reputation preceded him in a school that was meant to prepare one for college, so the fact that she interacted with him was puzzling, but never interesting enough to pursue. Though their relationship is unclear, he refers to her by her first name, which means he is comfortable talking to her to a certain extent.
Through her, he also met her twin sister, Fujibayashi Ryou, who just so happens to be the class representative for his class. A shy and quite girl, he doesn't know her very well and thus refers to her by her last name.
In fact, his title as a delinquent has coincided very well with this lifestyle, as he is able to catch up on sleep during class, and stay out all night to avoid his dad. It's unclear whether or not Tomoya had a normal life before high school, though it is heavily implied. The fact that the fight had caused the change in their relationship, as well as him losing the one trait that made him special, implies his life of delinquency had only started in high school.

Sample RP: His head was hurting. He had a lot to think about…or rather forget about, but he couldn’t stop questioning one key fact. Why her? He had dealt with them all, sociopaths, schizophrenics, even masochists, but this was different, far, far different. Pain usually badgered and harassed their victims, sometimes to the point of hospitalization or therapy ? but her pain literally consumed her. Thinking back to the elevator ride he had seen random images and scenes and had simply assumed it had been due to his inability to properly understand her suffering, but in the past it had always made sense after he had given a few moments for his brain to process the information. Even now it was just a hodgepodge of senses, a mess of emotions, and a torrent of pain. He could only think of one possible explanation for the phenomenon - he had truly been in her head.
His head was now throbbing, but still he pushed on with his train of thought. He had never been in anyone’s head before. True he had experienced their pain, but it had always been from a skewed perspective, as if a newcomer were being handed the emotions on a plate and was told to experience them ? naturally it almost never equated to the true suffering the person was going through or the true range of memories that were revolving through their head. Then there was the actual event. He was almost always safe from random flare ups due to the barriers he casually set around him, so much so that he rarely, if ever, felt a person’s physical pain. Mental stress was more prevalent, but still a minor problem. Emotional pain was the real anomaly. While he could still reduce the connection he had with other people, it was impossible to eliminate the flow of emotions. Unlike physical pain, or mental stress, emotions were unique in how they reacted to each other and how they expressed themselves, essentially meaning that preparing for them was nearly impossible. Simply put - nobody could get in without forewarning…and yet she had instantly shattered every defense he possessed, every barrier he perceived himself to hold. He could feel his blood boiling, itching to flow in ways he had successively avoided for years now. Years of hard work, effort, seclusion, sacrifices - all brought down by one, brief meeting.
His head was spinning now…thoughts fragmenting. He imagined this is what it must feel like to be wasted…but he wasn’t drunk. Something was wrong. He tried to concentrate on his surroundings, the window, the door, the carpet ? but his eyes kept drifting to her face…there was something hiding behind that face…but he couldn’t concentrate on it as his throbbing headache drilled into his skull like a beating drum…and that smell…was he smelling smoke? He glanced around the room for the source but found nothing but clean white furniture around him…a pureness tainted by the fire…wait…fire? Was this a trap? An illusion brought on by the innocent looking girl he had willingly invited to his room? His eyes flashed toward hers in vengeance, ready to attack before she dealt the final blow with her facade - but he saw her suffering just the same, struggling with inner demons he didn’t even know she possessed. He contemplated reaching out to her one more time…engulfing himself in her thoughts…but no…he couldn’t…he wasn’t prepared for the onslaught awaiting him. As if to answer his resignation she screamed out in sudden agony.
