I'll admit its an idea ripped off another site I'm on XD. Anyway, the basic idea is that once in awhile there is a board-wide mini-plot that gets it own special board to RP in. For our case, most likely it'll end up being festivals and dances, with summer vacation dashed in. Here are the things I've thought of:
Founder's Festival: Basically the event as seen in the show. I actually have it planned and on the calendar to occur throughout the month of September. The only thing is that it is kind of important for the Fuko arc, so I'm not sure if we should have it as a mini-plot. Should we do it or not?
Fall Festival: During my catch up of the After Story (I skipped straight to Episode 13) I saw this with Misae's (hope I got the name right) arc. I'd probably have it set up for the months of October/November.
Christmas/New Years: I know they have Christmas in Japan, but not sure if their New Year is the same. This is admittedly a more convenience thing, and if the New Years aren't the same, we'll just have a Christmas miniplot.
Lover's Festival: Basically Valentine's Day, and while Japan has an equivalent to VD, it occurs on some date that I have no clue about (something about the seventh day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar or something like like that). So this would serve the same purpose. Obviously in February.
March and April get a break XD.
School Festival: Would occur in May, and signals the end of the school year (or at least it's close enough I believe to might as well be the end). Same issue as the Founder's Festival though in that it is important for a character arc (Nagisa's specifically).
Summer Vacation: Actually, this would be best be done in and out of a special board in that characters wouldn't have to be wearing school uniforms or go to school. The special board would more be along the line of vacation spots like the mountains and beach and such. Would occur in June/July
The main thing that concerns me about this is that it would mean the RP does go forward in partial real time, which means after that School Festival, all the third year students would graduate. Now, I don't want them stuck in the school forever, but at the same time I don't want to have that time limit for major character arcs. Should we consider the special miniplots outside of the general time stream, or should we go ahead and have the partial real time?
