||| FUJISAKI SAKURA |||
Makino Kanna ; Tamako Market
#Name ; Fujisaki Sakura
#Age ; 17
#Gender ; Female
#D.O.B. ; May 5th, 1985
#Occupation ; High School Student
#Year and class ; 3-A
#Height ; 5'0"
#Weight ; 90 lbs
#Physique ; Petite
#Hair color and style ; Short, ginger
#Eye color ; Light brown
#Clothing styles ; In terms of clothing, Sakura's outfit usually consists of white button-up with a short-sleeved sweater vest. She wears dark, usually black or dark blue, pleated skirts. During the winter, she replaces her sweater vest with an overlarge dark blue cardigan. Her shoes are always either Mary Janes with knee-length socks, or sneakers with the socks rolled down.
#A more thorough description ; Sakura is very small for her age — she stands at five-foot and only weighs ninety pounds, giving her a childish appearance one would not except for someone who is nearly a legal adult. Her skin is pale, and completely free of acne or any sort of blemish. Her mother claim it's because "even acne thinks you're too cute to mess with!"
She has fluffy, ginger-colored hair that reaches her chin. Her bangs are short, but with two longer strands that frame her face. One of the longer strands has a pink, candy-shaped hair clip pinned onto it. Sakura is almost never seen without this hair clip. It's very special to her, and so she wears it all the time. The only moments where she takes it off is when she's going to sleep.
#Personality ;Sakura is generally a very quiet girl. It's very easy to glance right over her, as if she isn't even there. Her presence is so small that it doesn't so much as warrant a passing thought for most people. She doesn't mind that nobody notices her. She prefers being on her own anyway, nose buried in a book rather than talking to other people. Social interaction just isn't really her thing.
She loves to read. It's her favorite pastime, and she isn't picky about the genre either. She'll read pretty much anything if it catches her interest. However, her favorite genre is fantasy - she can spend hours reading a novel and getting lost in the unrealistic adventures of her favorite fictional characters. She tends to get lost in her own little world when reading, and becomes completely oblivous about everything going on around her. It can be difficult to bring her out of it.
It's not easy to become friends with Sakura. She isn't a "sees the special snowflake in everyone" kind of girl. She invests in people deeply, and needs a strong emotional connection to consider someone her friend. But once someone does manage to become close with her, they have a friend for life. She is nurturing and supportive, and the kind of person that just isn't for everyone. But those who take the time are rewarded with her gentle disposition, and the kind of friendship that does a person good no matter what difficulty they're facing.
Sakura is truly a wonderful friend to those who are patient enough. She has unwavering loyalty, and never doubts her friends. She knows that they would never do anything to hurt her. After all, she has chosen her friends carefully. She knows them well enough to know that they're good people. There is no doubt in her mind about that.
She is always willing to listen to other peoples' problems. She cannot always give advice, but sometimes it's just nice to vent to someone who won't judge you at all. If someone wants to get something off their chest but they don't know who they can tell, Sakura is their girl. This isn't just limited to her friends either. She'll listen to anyone about their problems if they need it.
People assume that Sakura doesn't have any temper at all. This is a reasonable assumption, given how calm and reserved she seems all the time. But it's also completely wrong. She does get angry sometimes, and it's also downright chilling when she does. There is never any screaming or clenched fists or glares. No, her type of anger is more passive aggressive and subtle. It shows itself in the form of cold, furious, simpering smile and shadows cast across her eyes. Nobody wants to be on the receiving end of Sakura's anger.
#History ;Sakura had a good home life growing up. Her mother and father, Tomoyo and Yuuki, were both young when they had her - her mother had gotten pregnant while they were still in high school, in fact - but they tried their best to be mature and caring parents for their daughter.
Tomoyo decided to drop out of high school so she could take care of her daughter. Her parents were obviously disapproving, and they threatened to disown their daughter if she went through with that decision. They stayed true to this threat, and kicked her out onto the street with a baby girl. Fortunately, Tomoyo had someone she could go to. Yuuki's parents took her in without complaint. They adored Tomoyo. She was like a daughter to them.
Yuuki, on the other hand, finished high school. He needed to so that he could get a good job and support his girlfriend (soon-to-be wife) and daughter. He finished his last year of high school, but they continued to live with his mother and father while he looked for a job. They didn't mind. As I said, they adored Tomoyo. They adored Sakura too, and definitely had no problem with her being around.
Eventually, Yuuki found a job and saved up enough money to move out. They bought a house that was close to his parents so that they could see each other whenever they wanted. His parents were quite happy about this, mostly because they loved being around their granddaughter.
Being an only child, Sakura was often lonely growing up. She never had many friends at school, because she was way too shy to approach anybody. Her parents and teacher tried to help her, but every attempt at making friends ended with Sakura running away because she had gotten too flustered or embarrassed.
She began reading books quite a lot. It was a healthy way for her to deal with the loneliness - when she could get lost in the adventures of another person, she could pretend that she was there and she wouldn't feel so lonely anymore. It made her feel less upset about not having any friends. In fact, she was actually quite okay with it. Her parents, however, were not. They worried about their daughter and tried their best to get her to be friends with other kids. Unfortunately for them, every single attempt was a failure.
By the time middle school rolled around, Sakura still had no friends. It seemed like she was a lost cause, until she met an upperclassmen by the name of Asui Ichigo. She was the polar opposite of what Sakura was - she was loud and opinionated, never afraid to speak her mind about anything. Ichigo was also quite the daredevil. She had a reputation for doing stupid and gross things just because someone dared her to.
And for some reason, she wanted to be friends with Sakura.
Sakura still remembers the day that Ichigo approached her for the first time. She had been sitting in the school library during lunch time, sitting against one of the bookshelves and reading Alice In Wonderland. Since she was reading a book and therefore completely oblivious to everything else, she was quite surprised when Ichigo approached her with an excited grin and a loud, "Hi!"
At first, Sakura had no interest in becoming friends with Ichigo. She just allowed the older girl to follow her around and act as if they were besties. She made no effort to becoming closer with her, and although she never said it out loud, it was clear she didn't consider Ichigo to be a friend. Well, not at first. But she eventually grew on her. Without realizing it, they had become a lot closer. Sakura had even started calling her 'Ichigo-san' rather than 'Asui-senpai'. Only when they weren't in school, though.
Unfortunately, they ended up having to go to different high schools. They both still keep in touch though, and always see each other on weekends and after school. They both still live in Hikarizaka, after all. Just because they don't attend the same school anymore doesn't mean they can't be friends. The Roleplayer's Corner

Josie trapped her mother in a warm embrace, burying her face in the crook of the woman's neck and breathing in her scent of freshly baked cookies. She didn't want to get on the train. She wanted to hug her mother forever and go back home to hide under the blankets while eating sweets and reading Alice's Adventures In Wonderland.
Of course, Josie didn't actually mean that. She was just upset and nervous. Upset because her father was on a business trip instead of with her, and nervous because it was her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She had to transfer schools due to some...incidents with other students. A majority of them apologized, but she still felt safer moving schools. If only she wasn't so nervous about it now...she had mostly been upset about possibly having to wear a uniform, but Dumbledore informed her she could wear her own clothes underneath the robes. Thank goodness, because she hated uniforms.
She hesitantly pulled away from her mother and dully waved goodbye, feeling like she would cry if she said anything. It was stupid to be so terrified of going to a boarding school, she knew it, but she couldn't help it. Her last four years hadn't exactly been perfect. Hopefully, this year would be different.
Josie peeked into a compartment with three kids in it. Two were boys, while one was a girl. Josie thought the girl was quite pretty, with dark skin and frizzy brown hair that cascaded down her shoulders. She had rather big front teeth, but Josie still thought it was cute. "Hello," she said politely. "Would it be alright if I sat with you three?"
