Age: 58
Year and Class: N/A
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Face Claim: Klaus Seishirou from Hayate The Combat Butler (Also known as Hayate no Gotoku
Description:

Torvald is a professional butler; being a professional butler, it's his job to look the part. As of such, he wears a black tuxedo at all times, coupled with a flawless white shirt underneath and a colourful red necktie. The man looks extremely formal, and makes sure to keep this image up throughout every single day that he lives; he sees it as a sign of pride as a butler. Without his uniform, no-one would recognise him as the sophisticated type of man that he is, after all; there would be no worse embarrassment than him being mistaken for a common businessman or a solicitor.
Torvald has marine blue eyes; people often say it is as if he is staring into their soul every time he stares at them. These colourful eyes greatly contrast his hair, that of which has completely lost its colour and turned grey approximately five years ago. He has few wrinkles on show; this is because he is actually not THAT old. Torvald has white skin, and is 5'11" weighing 176 lbs.
(I've never been good with describing appearances for some reason... sorry. ^^')
Personality:

Torvald is, simply put, one of the most formal men you've ever met. Provided you aren't nasty to Avery or in general a bad person, he will treat you with respect and will be supportive. He is a gentleman too, and if presented in front of a lady will treat her like a lady. He will not kiss her hand as shown in movies though, as that is an invasion of privacy and to be called out on something like that would be a failure of his butler duties. On a related note, Torvald is a perfectionist, and will always try to be a perfect butler. That attitude is what led Catherine Vanderbilt to seek him out.
As a butler, Torvald is completely loyal to Avery 99% of the time. He does know that she is a Japanophobe and therefore dedicates himself to making her feel as happy as she can be even at the expense of others, but occasionally does draw the line and tell Avery when she's gone too far. She usually doesn't listen to him at those times however, and thus he doesn't see any point in trying too often. Even if he did, she'd probably rage at him and that would mean he'd made her unhappy. Which means he'd have failed as a butler. That doesn't sit well in his books.
Torvald, as previously stated, will do almost anything to make Avery happy. He will not, however, go out of his way to make others upset to satisfy the girl. When faced with a situation, he will always attempt to cheer up Avery whilst being the kindest he can be to the other person... should they deserve it. Since he's a black belt in Karate, should anyone decide to try and get physical in any way shape or form that isn't to her liking, he will make them back off.
History:

Torvald was born to English parents in the city of Tokyo, and that is where he grew up. He originally wanted to become part of the Japanese Police force, but as he got further into his teenage years he realised that it just... wasn't for him. Torvald had taken Karate lessons a few years ago, but as many know, you can't just keep Karate as a skill; you have to keep practicing or else you lose the skills over time. So Torvald made the decision to leave Japan and find work. He travelled to America, more specifically to the state of California to find manual work that would keep his body in shape whilst he trained. Able to find nothing that suited him, he was about to give up when a wealthy woman named Maria Ronard found him. Noting his Karate skills and how formal he was, she decided to hire him as her butler.
From then on, Torvald worked as her butler. He looked after her, sorted out what she didn't want to, and acted as her bodyguard against many people who wished to steal her fortune. His service was spectacular, and he soon became famous for being a butler of the highest quality. It was in 1987 however, that Maria passed away, leaving her estate to her son, Johnathan. Her son had never liked Torvald; he'd seen him as Maria's main interest, even over that of her son, and he cast Torvald out as soon as he came into power. As of such, the butler was sent travelling yet again.
Three years later, a woman named Catherine Vanderbilt heard of a famous butler coming to the city of New York. She had a three-year-old daughter, and wished for her daughter to forever be safe; she wanted a perfect butler. The thing that made it work was the fact that Torvald, by now, had turned into a perfectionist. He yearned to be the perfect butler, to mess up in no sections of his job. That was what Catherine was after; she hired him as the Vanderbilt butler, and he acted as part of the family. Helping raise Avery, Torvald saw her grow up; he helped her through her childhood with endless care, always looking out for her and supporting her 'as every butler should'.
Four years after he was hired, Nathan and Catherine broke up; Torvald was no help in making the situation better nor worse. Catherine left shortly after, leaving Torvald in the care of Nathan so he could look after Avery. This is what Torvald did, and when Nathan expressed his desire to travel to Japan Torvald was all for it; it was his place of birth, after all. In fact, he still regularly sent letters to his parents there in Tokyo, after all.
Some years after they arrived, Nathan emt a woman named Kyoko. Torvald was and is on good terms with her, as he treats her with respect and supports her and Nathan's relationship. He has noticed that Avery does the opposite, however. The thing is, he cannot change her opinion even if he tried.
All Torvald does now is pick Avery up from school, take her to school, and generally do work around the mansion. Oh, he keeps an eye on Avery some days, as well. You can never be too careful.

Link seemed to be getting into the moment now. He wore a look of serious determination on his face; the look of a true hero, and the same look he'd wore when fighting all those dungeon bosses back in his world, it seemed. But being a boss himself, Ridley wouldn't have known that. He was always the second or third to last boss, a tough one. Another thing that set him apart from Link was the time. Link was from the age of magic, where swords and shields were common equipment whilst Ridley was from much further in the future, where magic no longer existed and wasn't believed in, where technology reigned supreme and space travel was commonplace. That wasn't stopping the space dragon from trying, though. It had been a while since he'd arrived on the Breach, about half a human year, and he'd long ago discovered the 'magic' element in this world that had been common in the worlds of the residents who'd shown him. Yes, the Pirate Lord was searching for a way to learn this 'magic'. For good purposes? Who could say for certain, although being an evil space pirate probably not. Magic seemed like a powerful source and means of fighting to Ridley. If he were to get his hands on a method of learning the stuff he felt that the possibilities would be near-endless. He could just imagine Aran's terrified face as he uses magic to immobilize her and attack her, things happening for no logical reason. Technology was great in the sense that it had amazing offensive capabilities; the only problem was that it was limited to a fatal flaw known as knowledge. The knowledge of how it worked was the basis upon which science was founded in the Space Pirates, and possibly that was what caused them to be unable to use magic? Either way, the cybernetic creature that was the Space Pirate Leader of even High Command was not just going to give up. He'd find a way. Eventually. Whether it required forcing someone into it or not, but it had a high probability of being forcing someone into it. Because that was the way Ridley was. He wasn't the type to ask for things nicely, and even if he had been he'd find very few magic users that would actually be willing to comply to his request with or without the knowledge that he wouldn't use it for good means. He was a gigantic scary space dragon with fiery eyes and intimidating tone, that of which he usually used to torture creatures. He wasn't a 'kind' individual. Not by a long shot.
There had been something on Ridley's mind for a few days now, too. It was a few of the other members of Space Pirate High Command. Phantoon, the interdimensional being that could manipulate blue fireballs and had a huge arsenal of weaponry and incredibly powerful attacks that were enough to make Samus Aran worry. And the other was Draygon, a sea-faring crustacean that was usually followed around by it's offspring, attacked with sticky balls of web and had cannons that fired energy balls at intruders. God knows how that one had gotten off Maridia, let alone Planet Zebes. But either way those two weren't on Zebes. They were roaming Portal Breach somewhere, and Ridley had to find and crush them to convince them to return to Planet Zebes. That would remind them that they should never abandon a force like the Pirates. Especially Phantoon. He was a strong one, being a ghost constantly in a state of interdimensional flux, the bottom half his body in one dimension whilst the other half was in the current one. A valuable asset to any force, Phantoon was. Or any ghost that could perform pyrokinesis and exist in two dimensions. To look back... that could be considered magic, but Phantoon was dead. Is was more than likely just something unexplainable because it was from beyond the grave. Ridley could've had an understanding of it, but each of the seven times he'd died, his minion Space Pirates had brought him back, but stronger. That was why he liked Science Team. Always looking for ways to improve everything. Always looking forward to the future, and the increase of technology and power that could be used from utilizing said technology. Now that they had found the gifts of Phazon again in this dimension too, their technology was unrivaled by all! Yes, the Space Pirates should be feared. That was what Ridley intended, and with the mind blowing power of Phazon it was no wonder why certain individuals were wary of it already.
As the Argorok turned, Ridley kept a close eye on it. If it were to fly in close suddenly and perform another close-range fire attack then the space dragon here wouldn't be too happy. Those things actually hurt, and each one that successfully hit pissed the victim off very much. That victim being the Pirate Lord, of course. He watched and watched... after quite a while, the Twilit Dragon got up and breathed fire at them both, the red fire smashing the temporary peace and silence in the air as the two had watched the Argorok recover and prepare to attack. But that time was over now, and it was the duo's turn to strike against their battle- hardened foe. Link threw a near-perfect rock at the creature, landing a direct hit as said rock shattered all over it's skin. The wyvern wouldn't be too chuffed about the boy that it despised constantly pelting it with things. Ridley could relate, but replace the green clothed boy with an armour-suited skillful woman that had some powerful as hell weapons with her, like supercooled plasma and on the flipside red-hot plasma. Luckily, the Argorok didn't have this to attack with. Ridley would be pretty angry if it did. But as his bombs slowly reloaded, Ridley wasted his arsenal of missiles, firing them all at the Argorok and watching as they speedily headed towards their target. Whether they hit or not in the end was purely up to Diceor, and even then he'd have to hope it did some decent damage rather than the Twilit Dragon escaping unscathed. As he heard the missiles explode, Ridley was preoccupied with thoughts of various things. But realizing that he needed to pay attention, snapped back to reality in no time at all. He was completely ready to go, and was definitely ready to kick some ass. More specifically, this Argorok's ass.
Ready, Argorok? Your time in this world is already coming to an end...
