::Wakahisa Kazumi::
Type: Original Character
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Crushes: Currently, none!
Face Claim: She is a character from a Japanese RPG called Silver Rain that I am unfamiliar with (I found the picture on Google)! That's all the information I have on her! Sorry!
Description:
To start, Kazumi is more or less (Though probably less!) 5'3" tall and about 105 lbs. Her features are sharp and lively to match her apparel as well as her personality. Kazumi has smooth, pale, and - for the most part - unblemished skin. A few tattoos are scattered across her form, which she got within the past year. On each ankle there is a single band of black barbed wire, on her right shoulder blade is the date her father passed away in a crimson heart. Finally, in the middle of her back is a black Gothic cross wrapped in green ivy creeping up to the base of her neck and around her shoulders. A pale pink skull also lies at the base of the cross. Each tattoo holds special meaning to Kazumi, but she usually covers them up (especially in school).
A mess of bubble gum pink hair springs off her head and falls stick straight to about 6-7 inches past her shoulders. Bangs brush into her large aquamarine eyes. Thin lips that are almost always curled up in a mischievous grin play across her features. Moving down, Kazumi's body is rather thin and lanky. She has a short torso, but long arms with unusually large hands for a girl. The nails are often cut short and painted bright neon colors or just black. Most of Kazumi's height comes from her long legs. Like her hands she also has unfortunately large feet that tend to make her a bit of a klutz. Top top it off, the bones of her legs are twisted inward from the knee down making her constantly trip over her own feet.
On a casual day off from school, Kazumi enjoys dressing in quite a unique and eccentric fashion. Her favorite colors for clothes are pink, black, and a variety of bright accent colors. She has a sort of punk style about her which she expresses through her apparel. You can often find her in suspenders, sweatshirts and jackets made to look like chibi animals and skulls, army boots and high-top sneakers, as well as a various vibrant accessories. Kazumi is never one to dress in dull or average clothes.
When it comes to school, Kazumi dreads the school uniform. She absolutely hates the style as well as the bland colors. To spice up the wardrobe a bit she wears pink and black stripped knee high socks with glittery black flats. She also wears her usual accessories of unique hair clips, neon bracelets of all different styles, and spiked chokers. Similar to school, Kazumi adds her own special touch to formal occasions. She prefers to wear dresses with outrageous styles and colors that most people would never wear. Kazumi goes to great lengths to put together her unique and more than a little peculiar style of clothing.
Personality:
All in All, Kazumi can be a generally nice person, as long as she is being treated kindly in return. She can be quite helpful when it comes to advice or honest opinions. If she thinks something is wrong, she will never hesitate to tell someone the truth. If a person seeks her view on a situation, she never sugar-coats it to make it sound nice or positive, no matter who is asking. Kazumi can always be trusted to be a sincere and loyal ally. On the other hand, while people can trust her, Kazumi herself has a difficult time trusting others. She usually tries to avoid attachment of any form and she tends to be a loner in public. When someone attempts to strike up a conversation with her, Kazumi often pretends she cannot hear them and walks away. This is because she is actually a very shy and self conscious person. If she cannot get out of a conversation she either will not say anything or become irritated and lash out at the person. Sometimes, though, she will listen to the conversation and respond in turn.
When Kazumi is angered the situation never ends well. The littlest thing, such as being stared at or being woken up from a deep sleep, can make her furious. When she is pissed off she generally lets her fists do the talking. She will blindly punch or kick anything in the radius of her swing. If unable to fight, Kazumi will spout off, or rather scream off, anything on her mind. She generally does not do too much physical damage, but she tends to take an emotional toll on both others and herself. Often times she will storm off after letting out her anger only to go hide somewhere and cry for a little while.
At first glance, Kazumi may appear harsh or tough, but deep down she is actually a very sensitive person. She tends to over-analyze what people say or how they act around her, and will frequently interpret it incorrectly. When confronted by someone she actually feels semi-comfortable around, she lets them do most of the talking and glues her eyes to the ground. If she spends enough time around a person, Kazumi will grow to be friendly, talkative, and even humorous and sarcastic around them, though this generally takes quite a bit of time.
Kazumi has never been in a serious romantic relationship of any kind. If she found herself in one, she would not know how to react. Yes, she has had a few guys in the past work up the courage to flirt with her or ask her out, but the feelings were always one-sided. Kazumi always turned them down or just walked away without a word. Even at home she feels very little love for her family and avoids them most of the time. A couple of years ago she enjoyed spending time with them, but after her father died and her mother remarried, Kazumi did everything she could to stay away from the house or annoy her parents. Her rebellious attitude towards her parents affected her school life as well. Kazumi would defy her teachers, generally slack off (though she is actually quite clever), and even get into the occasional fight, causing her to be removed from a couple of schools. Now that she has moved, though, Kazumi plans to possibly take a new outlook on life and be less of a delinquent and return to her old friendly self from before her father's death.
History:
Kazumi Wakahisa was born on a chilly morning on January 31st in Japan's capital, Tokyo. She grew up there in the hustle and bustle of the city with her older sister (by two years), Kohana Wakahisa, her parents, Azarni and Yamato Wakahisa, and their Japanese Bobtail cat, Tousou. They lived right in the middle of Tokyo in a spacious and comfortable apartment. Yamato worked as a psychiatrist and became well known for his trade while Azarni stayed at home and worked on pursuing a music career with the piano. As her daughters got older, Azarni wanted them to take an interest in music as well. At the age of eight, Kohana began to play violin and at age six Kazumi played guitar.
Both Kohana and Kazumi attended school in the city and like-wise they excelled in their studies. Although, while Kohana was quite popular among her fellow students, Kazumi found it quite difficult to make friends. She preferred to spend her time listening and practicing her music as appose to being social. For a while, Kazumi liked the company of only herself, but deep down she desired someone who could understand her and would hang out with her. It was not until third grade that she finally made her first friend. On the day back from summer break, Kazumi came to school dressed much like how she is in the present day, not expecting anything remotely interesting to happen. On that very same day, she met Airi Suzuki, her "twin". You could say both young girls were friends instantly. Together they shared in the interest of music; Airi was even learning to play the drums. Although they were both rather shy, they managed to finally find friendship and were inseparable.
Unfortunately, this happiness only lasted for a few years. In the summer of Kazumi's tenth year, Yamato Wakahisa passed away due to stomach cancer. He had been diagnosed earlier that winter and Azarni immediately found the best medical attention money could buy. She spent thousands to get him treatment, and around late spring things began to look up. Yamato was bed ridden. but home with his family. It was shortly after this improvement that he died. It happened July 11th while Kazumi was on a sleepover at Airi's house. She got a call the next morning and immediately returned home to her grieving mother and sister. Together they survived, even though money was lacking and medical bills were piling up. As the years slowly went by, Azarni and Kohana managed to move on, but Kazumi continued to silently grieve. Often times she would remain silent for days, especially in the summer. She would even skip school and spend her time wandering around the city. Needless to say, this caused a lot of stress and anger to develop in her family. Kazumi was constantly furious that her own sister and mother could just recover from her father's death so easily.
While Azarni and Kohana continued to act as if Yamato had never died, Kazumi grew farther apart from the ones she once loved. It was a few years later that Azarni met Arashi Hamasaki. He was a simple man who had worked with Yamato in the past...and Kazumi loathed him. Unlike her father Arashi was bland and stuck up. He was never one for taking risks and he always played by the rules. Kazumi did not know how, but her mother saw something in him and for some strange unknown reason, married the guy. That was pretty much the last straw for Kazumi. If she was not considered a rebel or an outsider before, she would be considered a delinquent now. She would go out of her way to annoy Arashi just he would do everything possible to dominate control over the once free-spirited family. With his influence hanging over her like a fog, Azarni gave up her music career and spent her time at home reading a book. In a short time, both Azarni and even Kohana grew to be as bland as Arashi. Kazumi, on the other hand, only grew stronger. She defied that man in every way she could think of until he was practically ripping his hair out.
It was within the next year that Kohana moved off to college and Arashi decided that the "family" had to move out of the city, even though Kazumi was, of course, apposed to it. He was convinced that it was the city that was making Kazumi act in such a inappropriate manner. They moved to a small suburb called Hikarizaka and Azarni opened a flower shop that also served as their home on the upper levels. Kazumi continued to rebel and for most of the summer break before her senior year in high school she hung out in the less desirable areas of town, getting into mischief. One night, upon returning home after midnight and receiving Arashi's usual rant about responsibility and maturity and other nonsense, Kazumi had a "divine intervention". That night she asked herself before going to bed, "Why am I letting him get to me?! If Dad was still here, he would hate to see me like this...". With that thought, Kazumi decided for herself that this year she would return to her former pleasant self from before Yamato passed away and she would just ignore Arashi. Instead of getting worked up over him, she planned to put all of her efforts and emotions into her upcoming senior year as well as her music. Although Kazumi knew the transition would be difficult, she believed her father was proud of her and was cheering her on from wherever he was.

Sample RP:
This is from a previous RPG I was on. It was Wammy House from Death Note based and my character was an orphan who was crazy (literally!) for Alice in Wonderland!
A crisp autumn breeze swept the grounds of Wammy House. The lawn was barren except for some dead leaves, dancing on the light wind. Or was it? No, there was, in fact, someone out there, alone. A you girl sat under a large sugar maple that still held its fiery leaves on the outskirts of the landscape. She sat n a simple blue and white checked blanket. An old Japanese tea set was displayed before her and her only companion was an old, stiff white rabbit doll in a waistcoat. It's black eyes gleamed up at her. The young lady smiled broadly in return through the strawberry blond hair whipping around her form. She stood very still, merely smiling at her company.
"Gooood afternooooon, Mr. Rabbit! A looooooovely day we're having, wouldn't you saaaaaaay?"
The girl yelled in a mock formal British voice. She tipped the white, red ribbon and rose covered top hat that sat haphazardly on her petite head. Fits of giggles bubbled from her causing her to spill a bit of the hot tea she poured into the rabbit's cup, then her own. With a dainty, be-gloved hand she picked up a sugar cookie off a little tray. She had raided the kitchen for a few biscuits she could enjoy with Mr. Rabbit that morning. With another grin, she nibbled on the sweet tea cake with satisfaction commenting,
"It soooo nice you could joooin me, Mr. Rabbit! It is a raaaaare occassion you are not ooooccupied seeeeerving the Red Queen, indeeeeed."
"Quite right, Chessi, quite right! Must not stay too long! Can't be late! oh late, late! So many important dates!"
Cheshire, the young girl, replied to her own comment with another high-pitched, squealing voice. Stifling more laughter, she continued her conversation with Mr. Rabbit,
"Oh but, dooooo stay a little loooonger! I'm quite suuuuure she wooooon't take your head off if you're a feeeeeew minutes laaaaaaate!"
Chess couldn't handle it any longer. She toppled over, squealing, giggling and spilling tea everywhere. it took quite a few moments before she gained a hold of herself again. For some time, she laid there, starring up at the clouds traveling across the blue sky. Her thoughts were a jumble of colors and sounds with no beginning, end, or sense for that matter. Often times, these blurry thoughts were so confusing to their owner that she ran smack into things or tripped over some odd object in her distraction.
What a bother...
Cheshire thought, closing her eyes and taking a few deep breaths in an attempt to clear her head. This proved to be easier said than done. Giving up, she blinked hard then opened her storm gray eyes. She smiled as broad as well, a Cheshire-cat, across her pale face, making her extra rosy cheeks bunch up like two strawberries,
"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat
How I wonder where you're at,
Up above the world so high,
Like a tea tray in the sky,
Twinkle, twinkle,
Twinkle, twinkle, winkle,twinkle..."
Chess sang so loud that she seemed to bounce into a standing position with the energy as she threw her arms into the air above her. Her eyes closed in bliss and she couldn't help but giggle as a crimson maple leaf fell and brushed her cheek.
Quite suddenly, though, she stopped all laughter and her face fell. Her arms slowly lowered to her side and she dropped back to a sitting position on the blanket with a thud. The china rattled and Mr. Rabbit fell to his side on the grass. A cloud passed over the sun casting a shadow over the once cheerful tea party. Cheshire bowed her head slightly and blindly reached for her top hat in the grass beside her. She brushed it off and plopped it back on her head. Her thin fingers in their pure white gloves fiddled with the red trim of her equally white tailcoat. With mournful eyes and fallen spirits she slowly blinked at the fallen rabbit doll,
"M-Mr. Rabbit,"
She started, swallowed and continued,
"Have I gone... mad...?"
Cheshire paused for a moment, frozen in her place... then burst out in mad laughter and rolled all over in the grass.
Well, life is too short to worry over such trivial things!
