::Nagisa Furukawa::
Type: Canon.
Age: 18.
Year and Class: 3-B.
Gender: Female.
Sexuality: Straight.
Crushes: None at the time.
Face Claim: Nagisa from Clannad.
Description:
Nagisa seems like a somewhat fragile girl to say the least. She isn't very tall, standing at only 5'1 and weighing around 95lbs, giving her the appearance of being quite frail or weak. Though her weakness isn't as much of a notable feature compared to her warm smile and beautiful eyes. Her gaze always seems to be focused intently on something whether it be in this world or her very own within the back of her mind. Her eyes always hold a curious, wondering, but loving expression to them.
Her hair is a soft well-colored shade of brown, with two small strands sticking upward almost in the shape of an M at all times. Her skin is smooth and lively, not entirely pale unless she falls ill once more. Her figure is skinny and small in general, more specifically her chest isn't entirely 'well-developed' but its not completely missing either. Nagisa seems to always hold herself inward, keeping her hands close to her in an almost shy manner.
She blushes fairly often which gives a small tint of red that compliments her skin very well, granting a more 'cute' appearance at times of her embarrassment, much to her dismay as she sometimes may be teased for such a thing. Her attire usually consists of her school uniform as its more than often the only time anyone other than her family sees her around. At times however, she has an array of dresses and skirts, though she may dawn a pair of shorts of the heat becomes too insufferable or she plans to be more physically active.
Personality:
Nagisa is a shy and timid girl, often engaging in somewhat antisocial behavior due to the fact that the friends she'd previously made before falling ill had all graduated while she had to stay behind to repeat the year all over again. She seems to have issues with making new friends either from a lack of courage or a fear of rejection as she's not able to handle emotionally negative situations very well. However she seems rather happy with keeping to herself at times, either eating lunch alone or murmuring to herself in thought.
She is rather gullible and naive, rather easy to fall victim to pranks or practical jokes from the trust she dangerously places in people. She believes everyone holds some good in them and may misjudge their behavior and actions from that perception. However Nagisa is able to see the brighter side of almost anything, where others may wallow and dread the thought of school she holds a love for it, knowing its a place with beautiful people holding dreams yet to be flourished into a full reality.
She has a deep and undying love for The Great Dango Family (Or Dango Daikazoku if you prefer). Though the trend and popularity may have died out long ago for the rest of the world Nagisa seems to have never even so much of thought of letting go to the connection and happiness she holds with the small round creatures. She can often be caught singing their theme at times as its become one of her favorite songs, able to symbolize many things such as everyone being "Daikazoku" a great big family.
Nagisa seems to speak the truth whether intentional or not, she at times can be very blunt with things she tries to explain if shes unsure of how else to get the point across or describe what she means. When shy of embarrassed she gains a small stammer in her speech, easily forgetting what it was she wanted to say or trying to just avoid it all entirely.
History:
Nagisa was born on Tuesday, December 24th, 1985. Her mother, Sanae was a middle school teacher at the time, and her father Akio was a successful actor. Both were happy to have Nagisa but their careers often kept them away from spending much time with her. At first it wasn't too much of a problem, but Nagisa seemed to attract a strange illness that would begin to plague her for the rest of her life. She wasn't a very strong girl, especially when she was little, and the illness could easily take its toll upon her as it rendered her bedridden at the age of five with a fever. Akio and Sanae tried their best to stay home but were unable to keep away from work. One day, Akio and Sanae left for work with Akio planning to return quickly after only two hours. They were in high hopes that everything would be alright considering Nagisa's condition was stable once they left, and she was safe and warm in bed.
Things might have worked out better if it wasn't for the fact that eventually little Nagisa awoke and wandered outside to wait for her parents to return, missing them deeply and eagerly awaiting their arrival. Not knowing of the threat the cold posessed Nagisa eventually collapsed in the snow, and Akio returned to find her laying there, cold and pale. Sanae and Akio called in a doctor to check on Nagisa's condition but unfortunately he wasn't sure if she would pull through, describing the situation as rather grim.
Her parents were overwhelmed with grief and broke down crying on the spot. Akio finally lost some of his self control, he picked up Nagisa and began running out into the night. He ran and ran as far as his legs carried him until he collapsed down on his knees at an open clearing beneath the night sky. He screamed and begged into the sky for his daughter to be brought back, he begged for her to get better and not let her die like this. In agony and sorrow he poured his heart and soul into screaming for another chance at being a better father.
Suddenly Nagisa slowly opened her eyes, just as the sunlight poured in over the horizon, and it was like the sky and earth below, the trees and grass and the world above all lit up at once. The morning had come and it seemed Akio's prayers had been answered. From then on out both he and Sanae decided t give up their careers to be able to spend more time with Nagisa and prevent any repeats of the past. They ended up locking away all the photographs and memorabilia of their past lives in the shed behind their home. They set up a Bakery in Hikarizaka, making it both their place of business and their humble home, where Nagisa still lives to this day.
Nagisa seemed to make it through school alright, though during her last year she fell ill once again and was kept away for Nine Months. Unfortunately she had to repeat the year all over again due to her absence, and the friends she had made graduated and left, leaving her mostly completely alone. Akio often encourages her to make more friends with his signature speeches of his own perception of today's youth, usually completely misguided and incorrect, but the motivation seems to help Nagisa none the less.
Since the incident Nagisa's relationship with her parents has improved. She holds them very dear and while others may find their behavior strange she thinks of it as no more than daily life or a routine as living in the Furukawa household. In the back of her mind though, she always has some sort of feeling nagging at her. She has no memory of the incident when she was five, but she's always assumed that something bad had happened and subtly blames herself for it even without knowing what she did or why. In her own words it just feels like there's something she needs to apologize for, but her habit of self blame is the reason Sanae and Akio keep it hidden from her.
Lastly Nagisa has a deep passion toward her goal to revive the drama club. She has no previous experience in the dramatic arts what so ever but she wants nothing more than to be able to bring it back once more. When asked as to why she said because she thought it would be so fun for everyone to participate in a play, to be a part of something beautiful and artistic. When she was little she was never able to be in a play because her illness kept her away a lot, and she wasn't even able to participate in practice.
She's always wanted to do a play with everyone in her high school, and was always set on joining the drama club. She decided she would work really hard in drama for three years, but even in high school she's been unable to come to school much. She knows she may be poor at acting but she still wants to work really hard, and be a part of everyone working together on one wonderful thing, she believes it would be an amazing experience.

Seen the Anime/Played the Game?: I've had the chance to do both~
How Did You Find Us?: Eh, Kamina recommended this place to me and said that, well.. it was in need for someone to play Nagisa, so I decided I would give it a try. ^^
Sample RP:
This was from a Teen Titans Roleplay I did on a forum a few months ago~ I'm sorry if it's not much but its the only example I could find, since the others got deleted.. just let me know if you'd like me to put something more into it.
Eh-- and to clear any confusion about the scenario, uhm.. I think it was set after the end of the series with Terra beginning to slowly get her memories back, I'm almost positive that was it.
The color from her eyes faded away then, and she stared in awe up to the floating rock.. before it began to fall back down, due to the loss of power supporting it, she pushed hard at the small door in the fence, managing to break away the very old rusted padlock, the chain-links rustling as she bolted through quickly, shutting her eyes and heading blindly down the street toward the 'old town' area nearby. She didn't know where she was going, she didn't care.. suddenly her head was filled, with all these.. memories? Her powers, she'd always had powers.. what was she? Some kind of.. mutant? All she could remember was the destruction, were these powers bad? Houses, towns, cities themselves in rubble..burning.. all the people--.. no.. it couldn't be, she couldn't.. she wouldn't..
She wanted to forget, almost immediately she wanted to push every mere thought of it out of her mind and just go back to being her plain old orphan self! But she couldn't, the constant murmur and images of past experiences wormed their way inside of her head, pushing into every bit of her thoughts until it was all she could see. She finally came to a stop, stumbling and collapsing against the wall of a nearby building as her hands clutched at the side of her head. "No, no, no.." she murmured sadly to herself as the memories continued to flood. Terra Markov.. that was her full, real name. She enjoyed traveling.. she traveled because wherever she went, all she could do was destroy. She'd tried to get away from it all, she'd lived in the canyon before one day, they--
"NO!!.." She finally cried then, willing herself with every bit of effort she had to put a stop to it.. thankfully, whatever happened seemed to subside. She breathed heavily, slowly regaining her composure and balance. She took a look around her then, recognizing what street she was on finally.. she sighed heavily, laying a palm over her forehead and beginning to walk slowly down the sidewalk, looking down to her feet almost shamefully as she made her way to her home.. a run down orphanage, in a place long forgotten.
She tried to calm her breathing, slowly dropping the hand from her head and looking up to see the standing, mostly rotting, orphanage at the end of the street. "Home sweet home.." She murmured bitterly. Her shoes continued to pad softly against the asphalt as she neared. She stopped at the corner, looking both ways to make sure it was clear before she crossed over and pulled the gate open, stepping inside before letting the small door shut behind her. She seemed to stand there sheepishly in the doorway, as a tall lanky woman walked over then, peering down at her through the round lenses of her glasses. "You're late.." The woman remarked with obvious displeasure.
"Sorry Mother.." She responded in an ashamed tone, knowing what usual speech was to follow. "Do you enjoy making me worry for you, Terra? Do you enjoy having all your sisters wonder where you are? Whether your hurt, or worse?" Terra curled her hands a bit. "You know that isn't what I--!" A small *smack* was heard as the blonde girl received a slap across the cheek. "Don't you raise your voice to me young lady. I worked tirelessly all day to prepare a meal for all my children, and yet I have to sit here and worry for you, only to have you disrespect me again after welcoming you back into a safe, warm shelter.. Go to your room, get cleaned up for Dinner."
Terra brushed past the woman quickly, having nothing further to say, nor' a desire to do so to begin with.. She rubbed her cheek lightly, the sting subsiding, but a different kind of pain tugged at her heart just as it always had during her stay at the Orphanage.
She hated it here.. she was one of the few people who enjoyed going to school, just for the sole purpose of finally being away from her 'Happy Home'. What a joke.. she couldn't stand it here, yet she had nowhere else to go. She'd seen friends come and go, but none of the parents ever seemed to pay much attention to her, she never planned to get adopted to begin with.
But hey.. soon enough she'd be old enough to leave, right? And go--.. go where.. She had no place to go, nowhere else to stay, this was all she could live by. She sighed as she dropped her bag down on one of the three beds in the small room, kicking off her school shoes and quickly changing out of her uniform into more comfortable attire. A pair of black slacks, a t-shirt, and a small jacket. The slacks, she hated.. but then again they weren't given many clothes there to begin with, so she was somewhat glad she had any at all. She brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes and walked slowly down the hallway toward the dining room..
The room was fairly large, with tall windows across the walls on either side of the long table in the center. It was easy to see inside of. The rest of the 'family' was already seated. Terra slowly made her way over to her spot between Evangeline and Ashley. "Let us say grace." Their 'Mother' said, to which they responded by all lifting their hands and folding them together, and shutting their eyes. Terra rested her forehead against her folded hands as the woman at one end of the table said grace, before they all opened their eyes once more and lowered their hands, beginning to pass down different dishes to each other to eat.
Cooked seasoned chicken, with rice and carrots, and bread with butter - not bad. She aided in ensuring everyone got their fill, before beginning to quietly eat then. They went about the usual evening routine with talking to one another, though Terra didn't seem to say much tonight, her thoughts were still focused on the events that occurred earlier. Her fork lightly poked at her food as she seemed to eat much more slowly than the others. She didn't have much of an appetite either.. she barely ate to begin with, she didn't even care anymore. Once dinner was done, everyone began to get up to leave back to their rooms.
"Terra, seeing as you though you've once more betrayed my trust.. you can gladly earn it back by seeing to it all of these dishes are cleaned and put in their proper place.. Can I trust you, with that, Terra?.." "Yes Mother.." she said quietly, and began to gather the plates and dishes slowly one by one, while the others cleared out of the room. She muttered in anger to herself as she made multiple trips back and forth between the dinning room and kitchen in the back. Eventually she managed to get all of the dishes and into the kitchen, and now began the long, painful.. agonizingly boring process of cleaning them all of one,by one.. with a sponge.
She just loved how they had nothing that could be automated here, save for the oven and microwave.. and fridge. Terra scrubbed carefully, taking her time to make sure each and every single dish was spotless. Doing this would surely take her hours to finish, but what else did she have to do? She stared down sadly at her hands as she continued to work away tirelessly..
Eventually Terra finished her chore.. soon she retired back to her bedroom then, seeing Evangeline and Ashley already fast asleep. She sighed deeply.. four hours, it'd really taken that long to get it done. She flexed her aching fingers and hands a bit, before flopping down onto the worn out mattress. She pulled the blankets over her form and nestled down tiredly against the bed, letting her eyes slowly drift shut. She lulled off toward slumber then, dreading the next day, knowing it'd be two weeks of lectures and arguments about how little she did around the building, despite the fact that she was usually stuck doing everything for that damn Woman..
She didn't want to bother her mind with the thought of it now, she only wanted to finally sleep.. hopefully dream, dream of something happy.. Within a few minutes, she slipped off into sleep, nestled warmly against her frail tattered bed, and hopefully that night the sad orphan, would dream peacefully.
