Upon hearing her say she forgives him, Kiyoshi suddenly felt guilty. In his mind, there was nothing wrong with what he did. He couldn't fathom what happened. Despite trying to avoid girls and stay away from unnecessary trouble, he couldn't help but feel like what he did just now was wrong. Why? Why? He couldn't understand. It felt like a false relief, being let off the hook for now. He scratched the back of his head for a few reasons. Frustration, relief and as a sort of apologetic expression. Mustn't let it show. Keeping his fake smile up, he listened to whatever else she had to say. Why was it that she was getting to him? Causing him this weird feeling? Was it her innocence? No, that was what brought him his dislike of girls in the first place.
"Umm, thanks. The true challenge is pretending I'm not that smart."
That said, Kiyoshi stood upright as much as he could, standing mostly on one foot to relieve pressure on the injured ankle. He had nearly forgotten about it while talking with his senior. It was the whole reason they were talking to begin with. There it came again. Just as he distracted himself, the guilt feeling came up again. Oh, how he hated his messed up personality; always so hectic and unorganized, not always the same. Only when rollerblading at night can he properly sort out his act, mainly because he isn't trying to hide anything.
"Ah, right. You're on a different floor. If you ever need help studying, just come find me and I can lend a hand and some time."
That said, Kiyoshi waved goodbye and started heading back to his classroom. Next class wouldn't be too far off. Still, that was a strange proposal for him to make. At least the guys wouldn't think of him as gay like this, having a girl, a senior at that, call him out of class. He was personally heterosexual so being classified as homosexual every now and then got to him. All because he didn't talk with the girls that much in his class. He had no reason to except for when asked to. Turning to look back once to the senior, Kiyoshi took a mental note of what had transpired. Fujibayashi... Ryou...
