"Oh fine, you can come too, just don't cause me trouble, okay?"[/color]
Finally, the south hall is sweeped. I swear, I didn’t know what I signed up for with this job. Misae heaved a sigh as she set the broom back on her left shoulder. Her broom was like a battle hardened veteran at its job. Even though it was old, it still cleaned like a pro. Like she, the broom had experienced a lot in the past years working for this dorm. They’d been through rugby mud and freshman vomit. Yet, they were always surprised when something new showed up. Though fortunately, she didn’t have that problem. Save us all if those boys get their hands bleach. Misae thought as she trekked back to her small room near the front of the dorm building.
Misae certainly didn’t think that as a student she’d end up a dorm-mother for her own high school, instead having dreamed of college and a town a little bit away from here. Yet, she’d taken the job anyway. She knew she could handle it. Misae knew of her strength, but to the extent of it. Besides, her friends told her she’d be good. ”You don’t take crap from anyone, Sagara. You’d be great!” or "You'll put them back in their place, go for it! She knew they were just trying to get her to finally decide on what she wanted to do. Misae had been indecisive when it came to her future. Despite all the teenage boys and messes and general shenanigans, she loved her job, and the people it leads her to meet.
Opening the plain wooden door that was the entry way into her room, Misae set the broom in the closet and padded over in her light shoes to the table, where a slightly cold cup of tea was waiting for her, as well as something else. Grasping the cup with a thin hand, Misae sat down and breathed the aroma of her luke-warm tea in. I'm going to have to get more tea making ingredients. I'm running low. Misae thought to herself mundanely as she eyed the strange object on her table.
"A CD, eh? Wonder how I got thi-" But Misae stopped herself when she remembered why she was so tired today, the cause of her exhaustion. It was Sunohara and his bad decisions. Of course, he wasn't being a total good-for-nothing that night. (Misae would never admit to his face that he was actually a pretty good and nice kid.) Last night, he just was being an idiot and ignoring curfew, yet again. Misae was growing tired and was itching to find an excuse to punish him into submission. That excuse came in the form of a CD played too loud and a grouchy Misae.
Looking at the CD, it was hard to imagine someone listening to something like it. The band looked very...unique, for lack of a better word. Misae ignored her curiosity to hear the music, instead deciding that she liked her ears to much to subject them to the music Sunohara listened to. I wonder how Tomoya stands it. Misae thought as she put the CD in her desk drawer. Sunohara didn't need that distraction anyway. It was better off not listened to and in her drawer than in Sunohara's hands again. I swear one day I'll kick him so hard his ancestors will feel it. Misae grumbled as she pulled on a light jacket and set her tea down.
Misae had to go to the store to not only refill on tea ingredients, but to get the makings of a slightly spicy curry she was serving to some dorm kids tonight. She never really had a knack for cooking before, but apparently she wasn't that bad, or else a lot of the kids would be keeling over. Closing her door, Misae left a note saying that she'd gone out and would be back shortly. The striped tabby cat that had been sleeping on her television earlier in the day had perked up and ran out right before the door clipped his tail, and nudged up to Misae.
"Oh fine, you can come too, just don't cause me trouble, okay?" Misae said as she picked up the cat and walked out the door.
