#Name ; Erina Yasuda
#Age ; 15
#Gender ; Female
#Sexuality ; Heterosexual
#D.O.B. ; February 23
#Occupation ; Student
#Year and class ; 1-A
#Height ; 5' 2"
#Weight ; 110 lbs
#Physique ; Erina is average height for a Japanese girl, but her petite frame can sometimes make her appear smaller than she is. Don’t let her size fool you, though-- The girl is far from fragile or breakable. Years of sports and athletics have toned her, and while her arms and legs are slender, they are also quite firm. Her bust is average, but her slim waist gives her decent curves.
#Hair color and style ; Erina is particular with her hair, and her chocolate brown waves are kept soft and silky with carefully picked products and constant care. They are almost always tied up into two neat ponytails, brushed appropriately, and carefully trimmed to keep her bangs from growing into her eyes.
#Eye color ; Brown
#Clothing styles ; While the school uniform limits her ability to dress up in school, Erina still enjoys accessorizing and experimenting with the looks she can get away with. This typically means changing up her socks (She switches between knee-highs and shorter lengths, and occasionally wears tights) and hair accessories.
Outside of school, Erina’s girly side is much more apparent, showing in her flowery dresses, pretty blouses, and cutesy jewelry. On the other hand, should one catch her during a run or other athletic activity, she’s more likely to dress for comfort, wearing light shirts and shorts. She doesn’t prefer it though, and will probably have a change of clothes on her.
#Personality ;
Erina is always giggly and energetic, ready to take on the world and everything in it. She’s a little overeager at times, but her intentions are usually good, and she’s very playful and outgoing. Erina loves making friends, and has no problem striking up conversations with just about anyone, from fellow classmates in the hallway to strangers on the street. She’s not picky about topics either, and will bring up anything and everything, regardless of how ridiculous and silly or completely mundane. Her cheerful nature makes her an encouraging friend, and she’s very loyal and loving toward those close to her-- just don’t expect her to remember any dates or small details.
Erina’s boundless energy is often channeled into athletic activities. She’s quite the athlete, and enjoys a variety of sports, most notably volleyball and soccer. However, her true passion is… food. Despite her small frame, Erina eats like a whale and has a sweet tooth to boot. It’s not uncommon for her to be packing handfuls of snacks in her school bag or purse. She’s not below begging either, and should she find her tummy growling and snack source depleted, she’ll cozy up to anyone for a bite to eat.
Though it rarely happens, when Erina does burn out and run out of energy, she becomes extremely lethargic and near impossible to move. It doesn’t help that she can fall asleep almost anywhere in this state, and doesn’t care who sees. She’ll crash in an empty classroom, a park bench, the floor… Wherever is most convenient.
While Erina isn’t completely naïve, she’s not as mature or experienced as she’d like to believe. She’s prone to misunderstanding, and sarcasm goes right over her head. Her thinking is often very literal, so she has difficulty grasping vague concepts and picking up on indirect signals. If you’re not being clear with her, expect some confusion.
Aside from food, Erina's biggest weakness is anything cute. She adores small animals (Though this isn't always mutual...) and is easily impressed by the cuteness of other people, boys and girls. Almost everything she owns has been decorated in some form with stickers, charms, and ribbons. She's surprisingly girly for someone so sporty. After sports and eating, her favorite hobbies include shopping, karaoke, and talking to anyone and everyone.
#History ;
Erina Yasuda was born on February 23rd, to parents Hanako and Toru, a housewife and architect respectively. She was always the talkative type; the child that would ask strangers questions in line at the supermarket and ask other children at the park to play with her. Her antics could be a handful, and her mouth occasionally got her into trouble, but her parents adored her nonetheless. While there was the occasional argument, her mother and father generally got along quite nicely, and she grew up happy. Perhaps as a result of this, Erina has always had an idealistic view of love and life, for better or worse.
At age ten, Erina’s parents took notice of their daughter’s peculiar eating habits and pushed her to play sports. Though their motives were mainly health-related, Erina enjoyed the change, and fell in love with the activity, using it as an outlet for her large amounts of energy. She played in a local elementary-age soccer club for some time, then joined her school’s volleyball team in middle school. Though she was never considered the star player, she was a valuable team member who trained hard and played hard. Leaving her team was the hardest part of graduating middle school and moving to a new town.
Expansion in Hikarizaka led Toru to relocate his family there for his work. Erina was sad to go, but made it a point to stay positive about the experience. After making sure to exchange numbers, e-mails, and addresses with everyone she knew, she threw herself into life in the new town, eager to meet new people and friends. So far, she’s already established a jogging route through the park which she takes on Sunday mornings, and has joined the school volleyball team.The Roleplayer's Corner

Eating out was only fun if you could cause a scene. With Shay, however, that was not likely to happen. Dustin shuffled along the cobblestone street, trailing a few feet behind the well-dressed woman in her white blazer and tinted sunglasses. His own clothes were grubby and tattered by comparison-- but that was to be expected after rotating the same five T-shirts for a year while living on the street.
A year… Had it really been that long?
Dustin paused for a moment to consider this, staring blankly at his feet as he counted back the days, weeks, and seasons he’d spent in the island town. Yes, exactly one year, right down to the day. It hadn’t seemed like very long at all. All this time, had Lala really…
“What are you doing, Dustin?”
The young man’s head snapped up at the sound of Shay’s voice, pushing all other thoughts aside. Without responding, he resumed his pace, this time walking past his sister to take the lead. He’d almost thought about her again. It was getting harder to avoid lately with Shay around to remind him. Would she ever give up and leave?
“You’ve been here since spring,” Dustin stated blandly, his irritation absent from his tone. “Shouldn’t you go back to your husband?” He spoke without looking at her, quickening his pace in order to stay ahead. A few seconds of silence followed before a response came. “We’ve spoken on the phone,” Shay replied, her voice cool. “And I‘ve written a bit. He’s been sending money.”
Another, much longer pause followed this statement, broken only when the woman chose to change the subject. “We need to buy you new clothes.” Dustin was forced to halt as Shay grabbed him by the arm and turned him around, surveying his clothing with a wrinkled nose. “I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. We’ll stop by a store after lunch.”
