The Perfect Plan

It's brilliant! Sunohara had to spend a moment just sitting back and admiring his own genius. It really was the perfect plan. Just as the jaws of despair had begun to nibble at the depths of his soul, a shining ray of radiant invention had bloomed within him. He had seen the light.
It was heading toward the end of the year. Another year poor and alone, despite his best efforts to win the affection of any of the girls at school through his suave and charming manners (or what he assumed to be such). Without cash, without a love life... it was as if his life went on from day to day without purpose.
But no more! The time had come to seize destiny by the horns and ride it! He would, with the throw of one proverbial stone, down the twin birds of bachelorhood and poverty. Not only that, but he would be doing a community service as well. He couldn't help but pat himself on the back for that little extra, too.
And so he stood back, gazing in self-congratulatory awe at the booth he had erected among the other vendors of the festival. It had taken what little allowance he had left just to buy the spot, so the booth itself was little more than a table and a sign, but that's all he needed. Doubtless he'd make back all his initial investment and then some. Enough to not have to worry about money for a while.
Okay. Time to put his game face on. Rolling his head and shrugging his shoulders as if warming up for a sports meet, Sunohara took his place behind the table. He pulled out a mirror, checked his hair and face, making his normal cheesily suave smile. Perfect. This face was going to net him a fortune.
"Alright ladies," he said, mostly to himself in preparation, "Co~me get some."
He kicked back in his chair, folding one leg across the other. Above his head the sign read:KISS THE BISHI: 500 YEN((OOC Note: Or about $5 if you want to think of it that way.))

Sanae looked through the mirror, gazing at the new dress she wore. It was brown and orange, almost reached her ankles, and had a snug but not too tight fit to it. This was her dress she had bought a few days ago for the Fall Festival, to which Sanae and her family were getting ready to attend. "Just let me get my shoes on and I'll be ready to go, dear," Sanae shouted over to Akio and Nagisa. She certainly didn't want to hold up her family... quickly she slipped on her brown shoes and ran downstairs.
Sanae began hearing the music and festivities of the Fall Festival grow louder and louder with each step. Turning around one corner then allowed for the bright lights of the festival to shine brightly in her eyes. "Ahh, I can't wait to have some takoyaki," she smiled at Akio. "And who knows, Nagisa. If you have good luck you might meet a nice boy here tonight." The family walked through the festival, stopping at booths and activities here-and-there to grab a bite to eat, buy a purse, dance with each other, and the like. Sanae looked around and spotted an odd booth; simple and plain with a boy manning it. The boy in the booth had blonde hair and caught Sanae's eye for a moment.
"That boy over there sure looks lonely... do you know him, Nagisa?" asked Sanae.

Tonight was the night of the Fall Festival, and originally Nagisa hadn’t planned on going. Her parents, however, were very excited about the idea, and of course she couldn’t turn them down. So here she was getting ready to finish getting dressed for the festival. For a moment she had thought about wearing her school uniform, but she decided on instead dressing up for the festival. She was wearing a long-sleeved red sweater with a small pair of shorts. On top of that was a pink dress, and a pair of black stockings. At just about this time she could hear her mother saying she would be ready soon. A few minutes later the Furukawa family was off and about to the Fall Festival.
-------------
Upon arriving at the festival, Nagisa was glad that she decided to go with her family. The crowds, the people, the food, and just the feeling of it all. The whole town was there, enjoy themselves and having fun together like one big happy family. She was distracted enough by it that she missed Sanae’s comment about something; a boy? Wait, what? Nagisa’s mind finally processed the thought that Sanae said.
”M-mother!? I-I’m just here to enjoy the fair.” Nagisa replied with a blush. She really hadn’t come here to look for a boy or anything like that. Panicking a bit, Nagisa backed down a little and headed to the back of the grouping, embarrassed. Soon she calmed down a little and moved a little to the front of the group again.
Eventually Sanae pointed out to a boy sitting at a booth all alone, asking her if she recognized the boy. Nagisa had to take a moment to look at the boy. He looked familiar enough, but it wasn’t until she got a good look at the boy that she could recognize it. Sunohara Youehi, correct? It looked like him; blonde hair right? Excited to see someone else she knew at the festival, Nagisa nodded in agreement to Sanae.
”Yes, that’s Okazaki’s friend Sunohara.” she replied before running forward a little bit to say hi to him. After all, he had been helping with the Drama Club.
”Hello Sunohara. Is your booth having any success?” she asked, not really looking at what the booth said. After all, she just assumed it was food or a game or something. [/blockquote]

The Fall Festival was here, Akio had been waiting all year for this event. Akio dressed in an orange and black sweater, the swirls of orange and black blended in perfectly with the atmosphere. Naturally, Akio had been the first one downstairs, the store had been decorated for such an occasion. Pumpkins with Dango Daikazoku carved into them gave the store a cute, yet spooky look at the same time. Sanae's bread was still unsold, a special pumpkin flavored bread, Akio sighed at how useless the bread was. "Sanae, Nagisa!" Akio shouted over to Sanae and Nagisa upstairs. As soon as Sanae and Nagisa got their shoes on, the Furukawa family was off to the festival.
Upon arriving to the Festival, the feeling of bliss was in the air. The lights had lit up the night, giving off a powerful rainbow like color scheme. Sanae had talked about getting some food; Akio had gorged over that idea, anything would be better than Sanae's cooking. They stopped at various vendors, most notably a Takoyaki vendor.
Eventually, Sanae pointed out a booth with a blond man tending the stand. "I wonder who that is?" Akio pondered for a moment, before Nagisa interrupted his contemplating. Nagisa pointed out, one of Okazaki's friend Sunohara. So he has a partner in crime too? Could he even be.. NAGISA'S BOYFRIEND? Akio was appaled at this idea, yet he managed to keep tact when he heard he had been helping Nagisa with the Drama Club."So he has been helping you out with Drama Club too?" Akio asked in response to Nagisa's statement. Nagisa had been off before Akio could ask the question.

Things had NOT been going well for Sunohara. So far the only approach he'd gotten had been from a strange older man with an afro wearing a woman's kimono who had tried to kiss Sunohara while calling him 'precious'. He was in a slump.
That is, until Nagisa came calling at his booth.
Could it be? The angel of fortune had decided to finally smile on him? Sunohara hadn't gotten to know Nagisa very well since she mostly hung around with Okazaki when he wasn't with Sunohara, but could it be that she had secretly been harboring feelings for him? Of course it could! Love at first sight, and then she was too shy to stay near him. Now on this magical night she'd finally come to terms with her own feelings.
Now wasn't the time to be thinking about profits!
"Ya, Nagisa-chan. So you came. Don't worry about paying; for you I can make it a freebie," he said, cranking up the charm. He stood, leaning one hand on the table and leaning forward with a hungry look in his eyes.
"Just close your eyes and leave everything to me... Don't worry, I'm a pro," he said, trying to sound like a real Casanova but coming across as more of a... desperate pervert? Yeah that sounds about right.
Of course he didn't even wait to see if Nagisa was following his suggestion. Already his lips were puckered as he leaned closer toward his prey!

As she was off before she could hear her dad, Nagisa did not respond to his question. Instead, she simply said to Sunohara and attempted to see what it was that he was up to. She didn’t expect him to be setting up a booth, though she was still certainly interested in seeing what he was trying to sell. Maybe Sunohara had some deep, artistic side to him and he was selling crafts? Or maybe he was secretly a master chef and was selling off some food of some sort. What she was surprised to hear though was that whatever it was, she was going to get for free. Obviously she couldn’t take advantage of him like that; she had to be fair and pay for it.
”No, really, it’s okay, I’ll pay for it Sunohara. I don’t want to cheat you out of your money….”
She replied as he got up closer to her…and saying things that she had no clue what it was that he was talking about. Was he trying to kiss her or something? That was what he was looking like he was trying to do, and Nagisa had to step back. It wasn’t that she didn’t see Sunohara as a friend, but that seemed a little rushed. Not that he wasn’t a bad person or anything like that, she just didn’t have that kind of interest in him. He was a good friend, so why was he doing something like this!? Of course, as she stepped back, her face was rather red and embarrassed about it, but more importantly she could read the sign.
”Kiss the Bishi…..Wait, what?!”
So Sunohara was running a kissing booth! That explained his actions, but she didn’t think that he was that straightforward. And he was willing to give her one for free? She wasn’t sure if that was a compliment or not, and she was going to have to turn down the offer. Like she said, she was friend, but had no interest in getting a kiss from him. She really didn’t think that was something you sold off, though she wasn’t going to lecture Sunohara on that. If he wished to sell kisses, then she hoped he had good business. However, she wasn’t going to be one of the customers for that.
”I-I’m sorry Sunohara, I didn’t realize that you were running a kissing booth. I’m sorry but I’m not interested; I’m sure there are better customers for you out there.” she responded, apologetic for some odd reason she wasn’t sure about. She just didn’t want to hurt his feelings about it. [/blockquote]
