#Clothing styles ; When not wearing the traditional school uniform or sports uniform, Kyou opts for a more casual style of dressing, wearing anything from regular v-neck shirts to fancy shirts of a wide variety. She wears her school skirt, but enjoys shorts. However, she's usually found in her traditional school attire.
#Personality ;
On the exterior, Kyou appears to be a very brash and short-tempered young girl. She holds a very hostile air about her when it comes to those who don't know her, and she can seem unapproachable at the best of times. This, to an extent, is true; she won't react politely to rude people, especially when they're addressing people she cares about, such as her friends and family. Kyou has a reputation for being volatile and violent, such as in Tomoya's class where students are worried to so much as tease her sister, lest she come in like a whirlwind and make them regret it.
Kyou cares for her sister. Though she wears a rough attitude and demeanour, on the inside she loves and wants to protect everyone that's close to her; Ryou Fujibayashi is paramount in this respect, and while she's at school Kyou keeps her eye out for any problems Ryou might have. If Ryou is teased, bullied or if anyone starts anything with her, you can bet Kyou will be there the very moment she hears about it, standing up for her sister and not taking any prisoners with the way she responds to the offending party. This is proven when Okazaki harasses Ryou regarding her fortune-telling; he's told to stop before Kyou comes in to deal with him.
When she's in private with people she cares about, Kyou tends to be a lot softer and soft-spoken than she is with strangers. Depending on who she's with, it can range from friendly joking and jabbing (as she would usually display with Tomoya) to her being generally more sentimental than she usually is, and can range from a friendly chat to her listening to what the other person has to say and trying to think of a way to help said other person around their issues in the best way she can. However, though she has friends and does get along with people, the latter type of conversation is usually reserved for her sister.
Kyou has a tendancy to consider other people's feelings before her own when it comes to important matters. You wouldn't be able to tell it while looking at her, however. This is apparent because she's well aware that Ryou has a crush on Tomoya Okazaki and that she has had a crush on him for a long time, but even though working to make Ryou and Tomoya a couple causes her to fall in love with Tomoya himself, she still tries her hardest to match-make the two and get her sister together with him rather than trying to win him for herself. Even at the very end canonically where she knows Tomoya's fallen for Nagisa, she apologises to her sister for not being able to get Ryou and Tomoya together.
For all her semi-hidden goodwill and positive intentions for the people that mean a lot to her, Kyou isn't exactly a perfect student. She has no trouble with breaking the rules of school, and will do so in certain instances despite being a Class Representative. She has been shown to do this when Tomoya caught her biking to school on her moped, despite it being against school rules to commute by motorcycles and other similar vehicles.
All things considered, Kyou Fujibayashi is just an ordinary girl that wants to look out for those who she cares about, is tomboyish, and is blunt when it comes down to it.
#History ;
(partially paraphrased from the other Kyou apps)
Almost from the very onset of life, Kyou was made to look after Ryou. She was born just before her little sister, though only by mere minutes. From the get-go, she was rather aggressive compared to her sister; she was smart, protective, caring, and she wouldn't let anyone be cruel to her sister. She would spend a lot of time with her sister, becoming the best of friends as she did; she really did care for and love her sister and it showed.
When she was born, her mother, Fujibayashi Shihana, dropped out of medical school in order to look after them. Her father, Fujibayashi Shinji, was a teacher in a school, and teachers in schools don't generally get enough funding to supply and sustain a healthy life for four people. Due to this, despite her generosity in dropping out to look after her children, their mother had to get a job in order to hold up the family.
Thanks to this change, the Fujibayashi children would often end up being babysat, and they were all the way up until preschool, where Kyou once again found herself acting as the substitute carer for Ryou and looking after her throughout the years. Their parents would still help where they could at home, but it was largely up to Kyou to keep an eye on Ryou and make sure she was safe and feeling happy where she was.
This continued all the way through preschool to elementary school, where Kyou noticed people preferring the attention of her sister as opposed to herself. She took this opportunity to put some more distance between their personality types, stopping people from bullying Ryou by beating up the kids that she thought were going to. This made her and her sister extremely distinct; whereas people leaned that Ryou was nice to be around and kind-of a klutz, Kyou was pretty much feared, and this put people off both of them; Kyou for obvious reasons, and Ryou because of how protective Kyou was of her. She found that she ended up in detention a lot, but she really didn't care. She was just trying to look out for her sister.
Things took a turn for the worse when their father left; he was depressed and unhappy, and left the family as a result. This was a massive blow to the family, as this meant that their mother had to take care of both of them and pay for both of them, and though this was attainable, it was difficult. In the hard times, however, Kyou's protection and upkeep of Ryou increased tenfold, despite her own unhappiness and misery from her father leaving. She did that in private, in order to hide her perceived weakness from the world.
For the twins in particular, things started to look up when their mother succumbed to the stress from having two jobs to look after them and training as a nurse, they were put up for adoption. They were adopted by a woman whose husband had recently passed away, Miyunaji Kokori; she needed the company and they provided it. They lived a good life in Kokori's place, with their mother sending money and still working hard for their sake.
When it came time to go to High School, the Fujibayashi twins were sent to their grandmother's house, where they live now. Kyou watched over her sister throughout High School and noticed her fall in love with Okazaki Tomoya. This wasn't pleasant, as she too had feelings for the boy - because of how caring she is towards her sister, however, she put her effort into helping her sister win Okazaki over. She ignored her own feelings to do so, and she continues to help Ryou where she can, as she wants nothing but the best for her sister.
In High School, unrelated from Ryou, Kyou found a boar by the name of Botan. She took Botan in and looked after it, and Botan loves her as much as she loves it. She tells Botan her troubles when no-one is around, and she enjoys its company. Another thing she recently invested in was a moped, but you didn't hear that from me.The Roleplayer's Corner

Kyou marched down the school corridor. She was fuming, as she had heard of a certain blonde kid that had been pressuring Ryou. She wasn't sure what he was pressuring her into, but just the fact that this kid was... well, him made her know it was most likely true and she was going to give him hell for it. Her powerful walk was avoided by everyone, not a single person standing in her path and many watching her walk down the hall, the students just knowing that someone had messed up.
Class 3-D. This was the place. Kyou slammed the door open, pulling it to its side and glaring into the classroom. You could have heard a pin drop at the silence that the class fell into the moment she showed her face, some of them starting to sweat. She scanned the room, her eyes resting on the one she had come for. It wasn't even his friend, who hadn't even looked over and was sat in the corner, staring out into space at the window... Okazaki was safe. For now, anyway. "Ah, Sunohara-kun~? There you are. I just wanted to ask you something. It's for school, don't worry~" Sunohara's eyes widened and he didn't move, nothing but a small squeal coming from his lips. You could see the look on his face. Guilty. He knew what he'd done, even if Kyou didn't fully.
Kyou strolled into the room, a smile on her face, towards Sunohara's seat. She grabbed the back of his collar and started dragging him out of the room, him reaching out everywhere in an attempt to resist. "W-Wait! No! Stop! Okazaki, help!" Sunohara called out, his cries falling on deaf ears.
"I'll be sure to tell your tale for eons to come." Okazaki cheerfully waved.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-" Sunohara screamed, cut short by the door closing. From this point, Kyou lifted him up and slammed him against the wall.
"So... what's this business about you and Ryou, huh?!" Her question and anger-fueled glare was met with naught but another scream. However, Kyou was cut short this time at the sound of the door she'd just come from opening and a familiar girl running out. "K-Kyou-chan! Stop! You can't keep doing this! All he wanted was to get me to read his fortune again..." Apparently, he hadn't been the most gentle of people when he'd asked her to. It was debatable whether he'd even asked her at all. Regardless, he nodded timidly and apologetically when Ryou spoke.
"Humph... it's not like he doesn't get worse from other people. He should count himself lucky~" Kyou responded, letting him drop to the floor. "If this happens again, Sunohara... I'll pull your voicebox out manually. Got it~?" She asked, her last sentence being a joyful one. Sunohara squealed again, bowing incredibly apologetically on the floor and nodding. "Good~!" Kyou responded. "Tell me if anything happens, Ryou, okay? Don't let delinquents like him push you around." Kyou stated, heading off the way she came down the corridor.
