::Sunohara Youhei::
"All that, and a toilet."
Type: Canon
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Crushes: None
Face Claim: -raises an eyebrow- I'll say God, to humor you.
Description:
While it wouldn't be wise for someone to say that they want to live Sunohara's life as the local chew toy, you have to admit that his appearance is pretty good. If it wasn't for his obvious Asian face, someone would have mistaken him for a foreigner due to his blond hair (originally black, but bleached) and deep blue eyes. It really doesn't help that no matter what he does, the guy can't help but be stylish in the way he walks and stands, reminiscing someone of a model.
Fairly short compared to his friend Tomoya, Youhei stands at around 167 centimeters and weights approximatively 55 kilograms. Furthermore, as he is some kind of sportsman (or was, due to problematic behavior that got him kicked out of the sports (soccer) club he was in) his musculature is quite lean, with few muscles and abs showing whenever seen shirtless.
Sunohara's clothing style is pretty simple when you think about it. The obvious choice, at school, would be the formal uniform every student is demanded to wear. When not in this outfit, he will prefer simple things like T-shirts and pants, or sometimes he will wear summer shirts (I don't know how to say it... The one's he wearing in the picture above?) depending on the weather.
Personality:
Sunohara Youhei's personality can easily be compared to the archetypal sidekick/best friend character in stories. At least that's what the dynamic between him and Tomoya goes; the former, Sunohara, is considered to be a really energetic person, always wearing a large grin on his face to brighten up the mood whenever needed. Of course, belonging to this archetype also involves the negative points, which might make someone hope that he or she is not in the blond's place.
Youhei is--or at least was--the most delinquent-like person in his group of friends. Compared to Tomoya, who was merely known to be skipping classes, Sunohara is the type of person that will abuse his "authority" as a senior student as if it was a badge, allowing himself to make demands from younger boys and girls. This kind of behavior is easily justified with the fact that Sunohara is an extremely overconfident person, believing himself to be the top dog in any kind of situation... where it usually is the opposite. His overconfidence can easily lead him to situations where he gets his ass kicked by people stronger than him (i.e. Kyou, Tomoyo, Misae, Generic Student #1, the members of the Rugby Club, etc.) or where he finds himself failing at a certain objective. Those things happened to him during his whole life, making one wonder about how the guy can still bounce back as if nothing happened after so many beatings and failures.
Sunohara can also be said to be a flirtatious person when it comes to women. Believing himself to be a casanova, it isn't uncommon for someone to spot the blond boy trying to make a pass at a female student, whether she is a junior or a senior student. Unfortunately, what with his luck, Sunohara can't seem the get the girl at the end due to outside sources. It doesn't prevent him to persevere though.
Another specific trait about him is his own gullibility. Indeed; the blond has a tendency of believing a lot of things that one would consider farfetched. It's even worse when someone is stroking his ego with the objective of making him believe something. Also, Youhei is a person who likes to stand by his own opinion with a stubborn streak. If he believes that something is true, then it is true no matter what anyone says.
There is one last thing that should be known about Sunohara, and it is that even with his jerkish behavior, he is still a good guy who tries his best to make his friends laugh under all this. Genuinely loyal, he is the type of person that will not stand seeing someone he knows personally being attacked or insulted without doing anything to help. It's even more obvious when it comes to his own sister, Mei, where he will come and beat the one who insulted her. Like a good big brother, they say. He cares deeply for his younger sister, swearing to protect her against everything that would harm her, such was the promise he made to her when they were children.
History:
Sunohara's childhood was one that was spent in the countryside, where he and his sister Mei were raised by simple, yet loving parents who taught them proper behavior. Both raised in the countryside, and thus far away from the city, Sunohara did not have many friends, preferring not to associate with anyone around his age as he slowly grew up. He, along with Mei, lived a life based on their relationship as siblings, with the eldest protecting the youngest whenever she was in trouble. Even now, you could say that the person dearest to Sunohara Youhei was his own sister, if only in the way siblings like each other.
At a certain point during his childhood, Youhei gained an interest in sports--or more specifically soccer. Whenever he had the time to do so, the boy was always seen with a soccer ball in front of him, with the latter getting kicked by the former out of pure interest. This sport would soon be the reason why Sunohara left the countryside to go to the city once he had to choose a middle school, with one having a soccer club.
During his middle school years, Sunohara tried his best to get decent grades as they were expected of him if he wanted to stay in the soccer club. It was time-consuming; where he had to do club activities during the day, he had to study properly during the night so he could be the average middle schooler when it came to grades. It was during these years that Sunohara started to get cocky, slowly becoming the person that he was during his years of high school. He dyed his hair to the color it currently is. Blond and attention-attracting, this new hair color was basically the representation of what Sunohara aspired to be: Someone people will look at. Someone for the world to see as he shined with greatness. He started to act arrogantly, believing that his future as a soccer player was set to be fulfilled. He had no idea that said future would be destroyed once he got in high school.
Now in high school, Sunohara got assigned to the boys' dorm that was under Misae, the current landlady. He now had time to himself and only himself, continuing his studies and his meetings with the soccer club. Every member of the club were simple bullies, and so was the boy when he was at the top of his arrogance. He wanted to become the very best(that no one ever was- DUN DUN DUDUN!)and aimed for the gold every time he stared at a ball. He quickly grew even more cocky as his number of soccer matches increased, something that led to his being kicked out of the club. The senior members of the club were the types of people that you wouldn't want to deal with. They ordered the blond around, demanding him to wash their jerseys, become their one-man goal blocker or become their cheerleader. It eventually made Sunohara grow annoyed, and eventually he decided not to listen to the senior members of the club, which led to the biggest brawl he ever got in during a soccer match. He got kicked out afterwards.
After that, Sunohara's motivation decreased immensely. His academic performances sharply decreased; Sunohara started to neglect his studies and became known as a delinquent. He fought even more, having grown a hair-trigger temper due to his failures. They were getting more frequent, with him reacting at the slightest insult until one of them finally brought him to the principal's office where he would meet another kindred failure in the world of sports. Okazaki Tomoya, a basketball player that was very famous throughout the school for his skills at said sport, had a shoulder injury and had to leave the basketball team for good. That was the boy he met; another person like him who failed at becoming a professional sportsman. After that day, the two of them became best friends as they dealt with each other's personalities. They skipped classes--or even school itself--together, gaining yet another reputation, and every once in a while Okazaki would stay in Sunohara's dorm room.

Sample RP: lol, post written in the middle of the night after a hard day of work. Enjoy my twisted imagination, guys! :'D This is what happens when I get funny ideas and try to put them on paper. It sounded a lot better in my head D:
Good morning, Sunohara-kun! At the very moment he heard those words resonating in the depths of his mind, a blond high-school student sharply opened his eyes, waking up from his slumber. The nightmare he just recovered from was terrifying, comparable to being on the end of Kyou's fury whenever she was during that time of the month. The last thing he remembered was the sight of a girl--his junior, if he remembered the red colour her school crest had--staring him down after violently kicking him down a trash heap, followed by her removing the only finger that was saving him from a painful fall. The aftermath was obvious; he fell down the heap, ending the nightmare.
Sunohara-kun! We're going to be- There was this cheery, feminine voice again in his head. For some reason it had a familiar flair to it, as if it belonged to someone he knew a long time ago. Sunohara passed a hand through his blond hair as he questioned his sanity--or at least the slightest part of it that remained. He wasn't used to being woken up by a voice that girly and especially at that time in the morning. On a school day that he was planning to skip, no less. "I guess that hit I received yesterday messed with my head a little too much..."
What do you mean, a hit? Are you still half-asle- W-wait, Sunohara-kun! Here it was again, now acting a little more worried. "That's it." He grumbled as he laid back down on the cushy mattress that served as a bed. He had enough of those new insanities of his. "I'm going back to sleep." With that, the blond closed his eyes once again, expecting the voice to be quiet as he slept. At least he was sure that the voice had no way to make physical contact with him.
"I said we were going to be late! Wake uuuuup!"
At least that was what he thought until he was literally kicked until he returned to a sitting position. What just happened here? Was he getting attacked? Was this another of Okazaki's pranks? Or was it... that girl who kicked him in the trash heap? Expecting the last option, Sunohara slowly turned his head toward the source of the voice only to stop when he saw a pair of green eyes staring back at him.
"Wha-" He was at a loss of words. If anything, he wasn't waiting for a girl to wake him up in the morning. Furthermore, a little voice in the back of his head seemed to recognize her identity. "W-w-who are you?" His voice was shaky, still startled from the sudden wake-up.
The stranger frowned at his question. "Don't you remember? It's me, Misaki!" She complained. "I can't believe you can't even remember your childhood friend. Idiot." Childhood friend? Isn't that a little too cliché?! It sounded way too much like one of those introduction scenes in those eroges he heard about. Now that he thought of it, Misaki was the name of one of the girls he had a crush on back in elementary school. "But I don't want to go to class, Misaki." He plaintively announced his want to skip classes, even if he was sure that Misaki would not agree with him.
A loud, feminine laugh blasted out of the girl's mouth as she tapped Sunohara's shoulder, as if he just told her the best joke she had ever heard for weeks. "How fortunate," Misaki said as she crossed her arms. "Because we're skipping today. Man, you really are half asleep... At the very least I expected you to remember that today was our first date..."
Sunohara slapped his forehead and realized his mistake of forgetting such an important day. I mean; forgetting to brush my teeth is one thing, but forgetting a- "Daaaaaaaaate?!" He just had a double-take. He had a date, of all things?! Surely this had to be a dream! Such an event never happened to him! The blond felt like he would jump for joy as he saw Misaki confirm his exclamation with a firm nod. He finally fulfilled one of his life goals to have a date with a classmate! Thank you mother, thank you father, thank you Okazaki for supporting me, thank you horrible stench from the tra- Wait. Trash?
And that's when he opened his eyes and noticed the complete 180° the scenery had when it switched from his dorm room to... a trash container. So he really did get kicked into a trash heap. Sigh...
