::An Average Day in the Furukawa Bakery::
Setting: The Furukawa Bakery, not their house. Only the bakery section of the building. Not the other rooms.
Who's Welcome: Everyone, all customers, employees, visitors, etc.
General Plot Idea: NONE AT ALL! Walk into the shop and play however you want. Go for something emotionally traumatic or absolutely hilarious; whatever you want. This thread is for general bread-transacting between whoever. It's not a specific special event of something, but just something for general character development and humor.
Let the roleplay begin!
The sound of birds chirping and children playing accompanied the wonderful smell of freshly baked bread in the Furukawa Bakery. Sanae-san looked over at the clock, which displayed a time of 6:59 A.M. She stood and stared, awaiting what we know not, until...
The clock suddenly moved to its next phase of the day: 7:00 A.M. Sanae let out a held breath and smiled cheerfully. "Let's have a good day, shall we?" She spoke quietly as she began her work. It was her custom in the morning to start at 7 A.M. sharp, and one of her great pleasures was standing in the shop for the last few minutes before work started and listening to the sounds of nature coming from outside the bakery.
But it was time to work! I have to bless the people of this town with beautiful and high-quality bread! These were Sanae's thoughts as she pulled out a 1x2' box with a lump of dough in it. She pulled off the lid, releasing a new scent of unbaked bread dough: that wonderful smell of flour and yeast combined with butter. It always gave Sanae a smile. The dough was pounded and rolled, then pulled into six pieces. From there Sanae rolled them into ovular balls and placed them on a baking sheet.
"To the oven you go!" She said as she placed the sheet in the blazing box, closed the access door, and removed her oven mit. She put her hands on her hips and took a quick breath, loving the feeling of accomplishment that she received every time a new tray of dough goes into the over. She could help but know that her hard work is definitely worth it in the end and her bread was most certainly a blessing to the local community.
Swoosh. Sanae-san heard the doors to the bakery open and turned around to see the first customer of the day.
