face claim ; Vocaloid IA -- Vocaloid

#Name ; Masumi Kazue
#Age ; 15
#Gender ; Female
#Sexuality ; Heterosexual
#D.O.B. ; October 4th - 1988
#Occupation ; Student
#Year and class ; Class 1-B

#Height ; 5' 3"
#Weight ; 116 lbs.
#Physique ; Small and Skinny
#Hair color and style ; Kazue's hair has a few strands that are misplaced as her hair is in separate braided pigtails. She keeps them together by small light red colored bows. She leaves her small cowlick alone and rarely pays any attention to it. Her hair is a light blond color that has tints of white seen at points, but that is only due to the lament of the lights. Her hair stretches down her back and stops at the back of her calves. Her ears are hidden inside the forest of her hair and she separates the two braided pigtails. Though she does admit that her bangs are quite long and one even stretches down across the middle of her face.
#Eye color ; Her eyes are a sky blue tint and are small.
#Clothing styles ; Kazue tends to keep her school uniform neat and in orderly conduct. The girl likes to keep it clean and constantly brushes the cloth attached to her body removing any dirt or dust that has managed to attach to the uniform.

As for the weekend Kazue will wear a gray overall shoulder shawl and a rather sophisticated shirt. At the collar of her shirt she wears a ribbon that is neatly wrapped under the bends and forms into a thin fabric bow of a light red color. Her shirt is a rather tan color and stops at the waist with a red stripe stretching across the bottom in its pattern of the ending of the shirt. Kazue's skirt is a soft red and stops at her mid thighs and is rather soft and brushes easily against her legs. She wears black flats to coordinate with her outfit and short white socks with no distracting pattern to them.

#Personality ;

Kazue is a very quiet and closed off young girl who spends her leisurely time reading, or writing. She tends to keep her distance from large groups and crowded areas. Kazue holds deep convictions about the weightier matters of life and she does not believe in glory or social standings. Others rarely fool Kazue and she is not swayed easily by words.

She is very selective about her peers, acquaintances, and especially her friends. Such a friendship - if one even exists - is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words. She is able to understand others feelings even though she rarely expresses her own. Her judgment and critical thinking is what she leans towards since Kazue does not understand her own feelings sometimes.

Kazue has a motivation to follow through on tasks. She tends to stay focused on the task at hand and tends to finish it ignoring the world around her when working on her current task. Emotional wise she is unstable due to her history and tries to be independent, and closed off from others. A wall around herself Kazue doesn't trust other individuals no matter who they appear to be, and each meeting with her is always a mystery - each meeting turning to be something awkward or unusual.

Inside Kazue is the complete opposite of what she acts to be on the outside. Too scared to reveal her true form, and to be hurt again, it is a total mystery to who Kazue really is. She is not in tune with her emotions. The girl is uncomfortable expressing affection and emotion to others. When she is close enough to an individual she is supportive, and cares deeply about the people that she loves. She is one to rather express her feelings through actions rather than words in her current state of mind.

In a state of depression Kazue tends to be completely closed off from the world drifting off into her own thoughts if she isn't in her usual average mood. Unable to speak with others nor stay in big crowds for too long she keeps away completely and tends to sit alone when given the opportunity. It is rare to see her depressed, but when one does it is rather obvious. In this state she's dependable on others - at her most vulnerable.

#History ;

Kazue was born in Hikarizaka and prefers to always stay in the small town. She did not ever like to travel anywhere outside of the city since the young girl tends to stick to what she is familiar with. Her parents are both alive, take care of her, and were both also born Hikarizaka.

When Kazue was young - in her elementary years - she had been bullied often. The constant teasing and insults thrown at her way when she was in elementary school has caused her to be closed off and wary to other people; this including friends and any type of relationship. Her parents then started to become concerned about the situation, and they soon lost hope as Kazue did not open herself up anymore as much as she used to since she had lost all confidence, and hope, in making other friends. As the years passed by she began to focus more on her school work and was not distracted so much by the school community around her.

In her middle years Kazue then came across a peer named Kohaku Nobuyuki after he accidentally bumped into her. Kazue shrugged off the meeting between them figuring that she would never speak a word to him again. That changed when the boy managed to find her classroom and start to eat lunch with her despite her wishes, and attempts to push him away. Kohaku and Kazue were never in the same class together but Kohaku was determined to make sure he at least spent a minute with Kazue. He felt sympathy for her after seeing what she had dealt with in school himself, and decided to stretch out a hand for her. It took Kazue some time to trust him before she accepted him as a friend. Kohaku had then began to develop feelings for Kazue, but he moved away into a town far from Hikarizaka. This left Kazue alone once again in a world of black and white.

Kazue is still teased and picked upon to this day from other delinquents - or students - and she pays no mind to them. Having grown used to the words she just walks by and if necessary walks right through without a sense of fear. She has promised herself to keep going no matter what.

Not much is very interesting about her - at least that's what she believes. Kazue has lived through life, the obstacles that she had overcome still haunting her every day. Kazue was happy and more open to others in her early childhood years until she was caused to clam up. Afraid of being hurt again she has now fortified a wall around herself in the deep fear of being hurt in such a way again.

The Roleplayer's Corner

#Nickname ; Miyu

#Age ; 16

#Gender ; Female

#Seen the anime/played the visual novel? ; I have seen the anime, but have not had the opportunity to enjoy the visual novel yet.

#How did you find us? ; I honestly found this site by accident when I was trying to find some Clannad music tracks. It was quite an amazing find.

#Sample RP ;
The cherry blossoms gently swayed by as the wind carried it. Light pink petals danced as the trees of the path swayed with the symphony of the wind. Light blonde flocks swayed slightly in the wind as footsteps tapped lightly on the gray cement that was provided on the stretching road in front of any eye.

Her breaths were silent as she was ignoring the petals that graced themselves upon her composition. Soon enough, Kazue was graced with light pink petals that soon became a daily part of her life and she was quite used to these lovely flower petals gracing her.

Her fingers graced the back of the book that she had in her hold and the text was rather advanced. The subject known as 'The Climb' seemed to be discussing the love and friendship between a family. This very book had given Kazue the opportunity to slip away from reality and into the world of the fictional novel.

It had given her something to do; something to enjoy. Though she felt her fingers twitch slightly whenever she heard a rather hoarse voice before turning her head to met her gaze with the voice that called her name. She did not turn her head fully, but far enough to meet that gaze from the one that spoke her name.

Hello, and welcome to Dango Daikazou. This review is just going to be a little short cause the only thing that stood out to me that needs a little more emphasis is her book throwing at bullies. Obviously, most aren't going to just let her walk away, and so some description of what happens then as well as any problems this may have caused in her life would be appreciated.

Also, in a style issue could you please not center paragraphs? It makes it a little harder for me to read.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I fixed some of the errors and I also changed the face claim, for I did not know the character earlier before. I hope that these fixes are acceptable now.

I also took the liberty of fixing the paragraphs at well. I'm sorry if I caused any trouble.

I've been meaning to do that for a long time, but I edited Kazue and cleaned up the information. Please let me know if I need to edit this more and I shall be awaiting another approval!

What do you think keeps people from going wild?

Everyone faces obstacles in life. Pain. Loneliness. Death. Nobody can truly escape from the trials and tribulations that life seems to hand us. For as much as people have the capacity to love... so too do they have the capacity to hate. To lose themselves in a never-ending tunnel so narrow and constricting that time only seems to squeeze harder and harder, overwhelming them completely and leaving them lost without hope of escape. It warps the their reality to the point where that tunnel becomes their whole world. It manipulates emotions. Changes goals. Skews the clear path they were walking when the world was not confined to a tunnel... and a truly happy ending no longer seems possible. They become lost.

But why? Why do people get lost? How do people allow these obstacles to stop them from appreciating and enjoying the beauty of life? What is it that causes some to be forever lost in a world of torment and confusion while others seems to surpass and exceed and continue growing and learning and... living? Are some of us simply born stronger? More resilient? With more emotional stability? Or perhaps... the answer is something different all together. Something we all seek. We all need. We all depend on that constantly gives us the strength and stability to live our life to the fullest. Perhaps the answer is simply...

The answer I found is "family."

Quote of the Moment

"It's like climbing a mountain. I try to surmount it, but that mountain just keeps growing like a tree, the top is never within my reach, no matter how much I climb. I'm always on that steep, rocky surface, where I can barely stand. But all I can do is to keep climbing."
